Enterprise came to the rescue when my car was in the shop at a Geico Auto Repair Xpress shop, Arizona Collision Specialists in Scottsdale. Dismayed at the situation I was in, my spirits had been lifted somewhat by the nice folks at the repair place. Little did I know how amazing this guy Taylor would make the rest of my day. It can be an overwhelming thing to stand in front of someone with your wallet. I also had a box of crap from the trunk of my car. "Yes, please. I'd like a car. I wasn't expecting to need one today." "Whaaat? You don't want to take my AAA card for payment?" [Headshake from me] With a sense of humor Taylor not only processed my paperwork, he did it efficiently. I felt confident that I'd receive the money held on my debit card once the car was returned. (My awesome insurance policy covers car rentals. So glad I have that!) Taylor was clear in his communication and lovely to interact with. Our walk thru of the car was quick. I did not feel like I'd have anything to worry about when it was returned. Every ding I pointed out was duly noted. The only negative thing about renting my car from Enterprise is actually quite funny. This gal is old school. Taylor started the car for me. I asked where the gas tank was, the lights, how to start the wiper blades and move the seat. Off I went. When I arrived at Sprouts I didn't think twice and pulled the keys out. ....or so I thought. After completing my shopping I sat befuddled in the car. I'm from New York. I've only owned two old used cars in high school, plus one beater of car I kept at my parent's house. So I'm sweating it out in the parking lot because this dumb girl did NOT KNOW HOW TO START THE CAR. Apparently you just stick the lock/unlock fob in. In defeat I called Enterprise and they walked me thru it. (No, you don't use the valet key. D'oh!) Keys are so passé. So anyway. Thanks Enterprise! Taylor made me smile. Thanks for helping me out!

So disappointed. I came here to rent a car while my car was repaired...for all of 2 days. AZ…read morecollision did amazing work on my car. What was not so amazing was when I was called in mid-September by Enterprise that I owed over $300 for having the rental for "10 days"! It took me 2 months to settle this ordeal. I called many times and was blatantly lied to that the refund was being taken care of at the moment we were speaking on the phone. I finally went in person 10/27/14, exactly 3 months to the day that my rental car had been returned to them, and got my $220 refund. If needed, I will take my car back to AZ collision, but will rent a car from elsewhere. Disgusted by the poor service; how many times does one need to call to get a refund on what's rightfully theirs?!? And then they didn't even offer any sort of compensation for the hassle I had gone through. This is not the way to build any kind of loyalty.

Budget Truck Rental - This is a photo of a company going above and beyond unloading the budget truck and into another truck. We are very thankful.

The things I could say about budget. Their customer support is a third party company. They have a…read morescript they can go off of and do anything to support our rental. The Serpentine Belt came loose and my husband lost complete control of the moving truck. Here's some info about this belt breaking. "If a serpentine belt breaks while driving, you will instantly lose power steering, the alternator will stop charging the battery, and the water pump will cease circulating coolant, causing the engine to overheat." We waited 9HOURS, for a "roadside assistance" operator to inform my husband and I know we could leave the truck and not sit there until the tow comes. 9 HOURS. In the desert. This is on top of calls to every number we could find that is associated with budget. A budget customer service agent threatened us that if we "abandoned" the truck. Budget would no longer honor our full coverage agreement. Our truck arrived after 11:00pm to our hotel. The only call we got today was from a roadside assistance worker who asked us "When can your truck be picked up." We let them know it was still full. He asked how long it would take us to empty it. Called Budget again and was told to drive the truck to a budget. No more calls to budget. This is the location we rented from. Called this location today and the woman who answered seems like someone who hates everything about her job and couldn't help because her manager was off until Monday. We were rescued and now we know to never use budget again. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Rented a 26-foot truck from this location for a one-way move to Texas. Approximately 90 minutes…read moreinto the trip the truck suffered a complete mechanical failure -- loss of power steering, throttle, and nearly no brakes -- forcing me to get the truck to the shoulder of the highway under extremely dangerous conditions. A Budget technician diagnosed the cause as a serpentine belt that had dislodged due to misaligned pulleys that were improperly calibrated before the truck left this location. The coolant level was also found to be critically low -- nearly empty. I was stranded on the side of the road for approximately 8 hours. During that time, Budget representatives repeatedly warned me that leaving the truck would be considered "abandonment" and a violation of my rental agreement. I made multiple requests for a replacement truck -- including calling Budget locations in Tucson and Scottsdale -- and was told none were available with no estimated timeframe for one. With my home sale having just closed and no truck available, I was forced to hire an emergency moving company at a cost of over $11,000. My household goods did not arrive at my new Texas home until 34 days after the breakdown. A formal pre-arbitration demand has been submitted to Budget's legal department. Rent elsewhere.

Hands down the WORST Enterprise I've ever been to !! I've lived down the street from this…read moreEnterprise for a few years now and every time I've been here it's always a bad experience!! They greet you with a smile upon walk in but don't let that fool you, they do not care about customers here. They are dishonest and unprofessional, this is not how a great company like Enterprise should be represented. I have been a frequent renter from Enterprise, renting cars for almost half the whole year over the last couple years. I typically avoid ever going to this location and much rather prefer the McDowell location as I am always dealing with either rude employees, additional rental charges or charges for pre-existing damages !! It started last year with the first GM (Brock), he was an absolute pylon and should have never been entrusted with such a position. I had a car through insurance and he decided to call me at 7pm to tell me I needed to make a payment or return the vehicle that instant, I told him the vehicle had been extended but it was too late to call the adjuster and I would call the next day. He spoke very aggressive and rude, it was very intimidating. Sure enough the next day my insurance (tatefarm) extended the rental. More recently I returned a vehicle that had pre-existing undercarriage damage, that I had already initially indicated. Although, when I returned the vehicle (Madison) decided to open a claim against me for damages to the undercarriage. The car had no visible damage but a small crack on the bottom of the bumper that was already there!! That small crack has somehow become a $3200 repair on a Toyota Corolla, what a joke!! Funny thing is my insurance deductible is only $100 but I refuse to let them get a penny because I am not the one who damage the car!! It's been a nightmare trying to reach out to anyone regarding this matter within enterprise. The new GM (Bennet) was surprisingly actually nice when I addressed this issue in person but he did absolutely nothing for me and actually lied to me instead. Enterprise has lose my business over this because they didn't have the professionalism to deal with me correctly. No callbacks, no emails backs, no explanations, only a $3200 bill!! They can pursue me all they want but they won't get a penny from me, matter fact I'll pursue them in court & I will make every complaint possible to ensure this doesn't keep happening to my neighbors!!
