The older gentleman who helped me was funny, courteous, and made sure I knew how to use the truck and it's lift gate. A few signatures and I was on my way! I went to return the truck at the end of the day, refueled with no extra damage. The same gentleman who helped me that morning checked me in - he ran out to get the mileage and my total charge was less than I expected. A few signatures and I was out of there pretty quick. Great experience overall. Friendly service, low rates, and equipment that works... What's not to like? Will definitely come back for my moving needs, thanks Budget! P. S . Always check your truck for damage and safety issues before leaving, this is a given regardless of who or what company you rent from.

The Serpentine Belt came loose and my husband lost complete control of the moving truck. Here's some info about this belt breaking. "If a serpentine belt breaks while driving, you will instantly lose power steering, the alternator will stop charging the battery, and the water pump will cease circulating coolant, causing the engine to overheat." We waited 9HOURS, for a "roadside assistance" operator to inform my husband and I know we could leave the truck and not sit there until the tow comes. 9 HOURS. In the desert. This is on top of calls to every number we could find that is associated with budget. A budget customer service agent threatened us that if we "abandoned" the truck. Budget would no longer honor our full coverage agreement. Our truck arrived after 11:00pm to our hotel. The only call we got today was from a roadside assistance worker who asked us "When can your truck be picked up." We let them know it was still full. He asked how long it would take us to empty it. Called Budget again and was told to drive the truck to a budget. No more calls to budget. This is the location we rented from. Called this location today and the woman who answered seems like someone who hates everything about her job and couldn't help because her manager was off until Monday. We were rescued and now we know to never use budget again. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I rented a truck for an out of state move from this location. Customer service was minimal and the…read morerental process was incomplete at best. Upon getting the truck, I was told that I would have 1//4th a tank of fuel, it did not (we have pictures as proof). After putting in gas, I was flagged down to be made aware I had a gas leak. After a 2 or 3 hour wait for roadside assistance, I was told there was a hole in the tank (we have pictures as proof). Apparently, it's common to have the gas syphoned from certain places with the vehicle being in an unsecure location. The mechanic (Uhaul roadside assistance) that patched the tank on site informed us of multiple cases such as this. In addition to low air pressure in tires and no oil in the truck. None of which was found out until already into the trip. Not to include faulty weather strips on the doors, which made the trip unnecessarily loud and uncomfortable. These minor emergencies delayed and postponed my arrival to Texas by 4 hours which put me at a huge disadvantage. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. Normal routine maintenance should be a priority when renting vehicles/trucks to customers. Should not matter if it was a quick local move or an out of state. Lives are at risk. I'm very unhappy and disappointed in my overall experience with this company. I've reached out to customer service to initiate a complaint/dispute. I sincerely hope a satisfactory resolution can be made.

I have used u Haul hundreds upon hundreds of times never having an issue as I am a favored mover with them on their U-Haul site. This is by far the worst location I've ever dealt with. They don't do their job and try to pass the buck onto the next renter of the truck. Please avoid using this location maybe they'll switch management as well as the people who handle the customer service at the location 0/10 service from a normally 8/10 company! I am a 5 star Lyft customer who had a harrowing experience during and after a trip ordered by my…read moreboyfriend. The driver clearly was confused (I'm not going to say he was impaired, but I can't get that possibility out of my head) and didn't know where was going, went on the wrong freeway, almost got us into two freeway accidents, surged speed and then slowed down several times, and tried to take wrong exits before we yelled at him on three occasions. We finally got out of the car at a stoplight one mile from my place and walked home, shaken. My boyfriend tried to report the problem but Lyft did nothing and instead charged him for the trip -- plus 20 percent tip. He reported it to the police but we did not think to keep the license plate number so other than telling someone about a problem driver out there in Phoenix, there wasn't anything to do. What is the recourse here, other than leaving Lyft? That's a problem as my only other alternative is Waymo and that's operating on a limited basis in select cities. I like that Lyft offers me filters for drivers -- which I now consider valuable considering this complete lack of customer service. In any event, it's not valuable enough for me to stay considering the experience we had last night. It's a real shame that Lyft just lost two customers for being blind to the needs of its customers.
