Ive bought my tires from Budget tire since they first went into business, and had just a couple of guys and 4 floor jacks. From the first time I visited Budget Tire, they have been completely and totally professional, careful with my vehicles, extremely fair and competitive on prices and all around just excellent in every way. Last week I had to buy four new tires for my wifes car...not cheap to begin with. A few days later she hit something on the road and sliced the side wall. I went back totally prepared to pay for another replacement and, when I picked it up, was met with a smile, a thank you, my tire replaced, and no charge. They DID NOT have to do that. This place is very honest i went to get one of my tires patched up and it ended up being a broken rim which sucked, but i got my tired rotated. When i got my tires rotated they were honest and told me my tires were waring off unbalanced and that i would need to align my car (which i already knew) i told him is it bad tho. He said they're wearing out wrong too much on one side but evenly wrong. (If that makes any sense) i understood what he met. I would give him 5 stars but the guy in the front desk looked like he was hating life or was hung over. read more

I hate giving bad reviews but I need to share my experience with Budget Tire. First of all when I entered the office I noticed none of the employees were wearing a face mask. There were signs all over the store that states a mask is required entering the premises. Secondly, they quoted me a different price to mount and balance my own tires. They said they had to add a fee to dispose of the tires. When I was quoted on the phone they said it included tire disposal. Thirdly, I specifically asked if they torque the wheel bolts to spec and they said "yes, they hand torque the bolts". Well, that's BS! The day after the tires were installed I needed to remove the front right tire to replace a fender liner. To my surprise I couldn't get the wheel bolts off. If they were torqued to spec I wouldn't have problems removing the bolts. I used a breaker bar but I still couldn't get them off. My neighbor came by with a pipe to add more leverage to the breaker bar. We finally were able to get the bolts off. That really ticked me off. Not only would I have had a hard time getting the wheel bolts off if ever I needed to change a flat away from home but they blatantly lied about torquing the wheel bots to spec. I'm sure they got lazy and used the air impact wrench to tighten the bolts. For sure I won't be going back to them. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll stick with America's Tire for my tire needs for now on. I know there they torque the bolts down to spec and their service is top notch. read more

Let me start with saying I know ZERO about tires! I called late on Wednesday and talked to a gentleman who was extremely helpful. I didn't know what size I needed or anything. He helped me get a quote best he could with the little info I gave him. I went in the next morning to purchase the tires and they didn't have them. They truck was supposed to be arriving that day. The girl in the office got on the phone right away and called to see where it was. The truck was about 20 mins out. I left my car thinking it would still be a few hours. Nothing happens that fast. I called them after we finished breakfast and my car was ALMOST done. They had amazing customer service!! Definitely will continue to come back here! read more

My experience here was a good one-as far as tire places go! Everyone I spoke to at the shop was amiable. They have good prices and did excellent work. I got four new tires and had my alignment done and was in and out within about 40 minutes. No appointment needed. And I was very pleased to hear that they will rotate your tires for free as well as fix your tire in the event that you run over a nail or the like for no charge. On a whim I decided to pull into their lot, which is behind another business, but no biggie. I am assuming it also helps with overhead, which helps bring the cost down. I was right, they sell new and used tires for below what the big box stores sell them for. I could tell that they were busy and about 5 minutes went by before one of the techs was done finishing a customers car, and helped me. No biggie, because I knew that he would do the same for my job, if someone came up. The price was good for a new tire but decided to go with a used one, cause I am on a pretty tight budget and this car doesn't see much road time anyways. All in all, the price was good, the service was good and I would gladly recommend this place to my friends and family. I recently was referred to Budget Tire by a friend when I got 2 screws in 2 of my tires. This was the ONLY place that was willing to fix my tires after 5:30 pm on a Friday. They waited about half hour after they were closed for me to arrive, which I desperately needed because I had to be to work at 8am the next morning back in San Jose. Anyhow they fixed both of my tires in less then 10 minutes for only $20 AND they WAITED for me to get there late. No where else would fix it. I even sttopped at 3 of the dealerships and they were to close to closing time to bother to help me.. Thank you guys at Budget Tire VERY much!! Great customer service, I called in and ask for directions and how long was the wait for tire rotations and wheel balances done. Receptionist advised to come and she can squeeze me in. Got in and out within 50 mins with no appointment. A lot of other places I called, told me it could take up to several hours. And they are the cheapest in town for alignment and wheel balance. Other places wanted $14 per wheel, here they only charge $7.50. Waiting area is open with a TV and couch. read more

I have needed tire work done 2 times for a couple of my vehicles. Once for a flat, in which they completed near closing time. The other was to replace two tires on my Hyundai. I am amazed at their prices and the speed in which they get it done. They changed two tires, rotation, brake work and rotors in about 3 hours!!! I don't think I would go anywhere else. Brought my vehicle to them because it was shaking and they diagnosed it with something and brought it back to get it fixed they couldn't find the paper so they rechecked it and found different things wrong but never mentioned the first problem had for two weeks and finally I called and they said oh we can't fix it sorry. REALLY it took you two weeks to say you can't fix it customer and tech communication is horrible will never take another vehicle there again. read more

When I got there, I had a no hassle kinda experience. He took my information and keys, and told me it was going to be about 30 min. I am extremely disappointed in this place of business. First of all they charged my credit card twice ( which I just recently noticed). I am in the process of disputing this charge with my creditor. Then I took my son's truck in because there was a nail on the tire. They pulled the nail out and told me it could not be repaired and they had no used tires in that size. At this point I was very upset and was calling AAA to have the truck towed to an honest place of business. They then put a used tire with a nail in it, which was too big for the truck. Been going here for years. When they were in the back building, services and prices were the best in town. Not sure if the owners changed when they moved to the new location, but it has changed. On 12/16/14 I was there was to get two tires and the brakes done on my dads truck. Guy quoted me 130 per wheel for the brakes plus 100 per tire. $720. I get there to pick my truck up and its $893.78. The brakes have squealed ever since. I wont be back. read more

I've visited this place twice. The first time, I was new to the Modesto area and had carelessly popped two of my tires! (Hehehehe..) at that time I was a student and barely working part time & seriously thought I wasn't going to have a car to drive for a long time.. But then my cousin told me about budget tires.. The prices were so decent I ended up getting all four of my tires replaced! The second time was just recently (about 6 years later), my front two tires started balding because apparently you're supposed to rotate your tires (embarrassed emoji here, lol)... The friendly staff didn't make me feel so air headed, or embarrass me further but took care of my car in a super decent time! Prices are great especially for those who struggle a bit financially. It's in the name, great tires for a decent price! They offer other services but the only thing I've been here for are the tires, but I'm sure they do a great job with everything else as well! read more
