I was shopping for tires online Sunday, comparing prices from TireRack.com and local shops. The quote from Bud's came back in an email from Mr. Bud himself...on a Sunday no less! His quote was okay, but not the lowest. After I found what I thought was the lowest price, I emailed Bud the quote I got and asked if he matched local competitor's prices and he did better that that, he beat it and included a road hazard warranty as well as telling me Continental currently has a $70 rebate going. Bud said he could have the tires at the Orangecrest shop (near me) by Tuesday. Good news indeed. So then early Monday morning, like 7 AM, I get an email from Bud stating they had located the tires for me and already had them at their shop. Sweet, so I called Kent and made arrangement to get down there within an hour. They installed the tires and did a wheel alignment (discounted when you buy tires at the same time). It took a couple hours to complete to I went over to Starbucks for a bit to chill and have some coffee. I get back and everything is done. I pay and get the Continental rebate form and was on my way. The customer service shown by Bud was waaaay beyond my expectations. I could tell that the staff and techs at Bud's are honest and care about their customers and treat them well. Disappointed. Went in for an oil change was told it'd be about a 2 hour wait. I thought the service guy was over estimating at the wait time. The reason I'm so disappointed is that on November 16th I went in at 7:30 and was hoping to get my oil change under an hour and they tell him I wait time would be an hour and a half. That was my birthday so I didn't want to spend an hour and a half of my birthday waiting on an oil change just disappointed on how big this place is and how long the waiting has to be. read more

This place has to have the worst customer service ever they lie to you on. The phone to get you to there shop then to tell you some outrageous wait time I went to get my brand new tire patched that just got a nail in it . Not only are they charging 25 dollars . Which is outrageous but I never complain about price. So this weekend I started hearing noises coming from my rear brakes so I called them and told them what I was hearing, the guy who answered let me know upfront what the situation was gonna be like saying they're busy and would prolly keep the car overnight and will see what they can diagnose with a road test, so went ahead took it in and told me what the problem was immediately pretty much my brake system fell apart and would need new everything regarding rear brakes. There was no bullshit, no headaches,it was a nice fair and flat rate and even threw in the repair for both sides even though it was just my left rear area. Thank you so much to the guy "EZ" for being such a wonderful company representative and being patient and polite ! Definitely planing to come back for replacing the entire front brakes when it's time for that ! On Saturday 4/14/2018 I went to Bud's Woodcrest upon opening to have a slow leak repaired on my Hyundai Santa Fe. The place was a madhouse, as expected. I got inline not expecting much for results, but to my surprise, I was finished and on my way home in under 40 minutes, now that's service and it didn't cost a penny. I love how friendly everyone is! I go to them everytime because of how I feel they treat me & my car. I can not express how great these guys are... Jesse and Kent fought for me when my warranty company did not want to honor my contract and the made sure that my car was working great. When my car had some follow up issues over the weekend, I called the shop spoke with Bud let him know i was on my way to church and he sent a tech to look at car and once AAA arrived to tow my car the tech gave me a ride home so I could get other vehicle and made it to church on time. I used to feel really good about taking my vehicles to Buds and recommending them to friends. However, the last time I was there it was a disaster with a capital D! No one seemed to know what was going on with my husbands car so they had it for a whole weekend and it wasn't touched! Took it back again only to be price gouged by the manager! Who then threw another employee under the bus when I know it wasn't his fault! I even took my car in for tires since I have usually always had great service here. I was told one price for my four tires, oil change and alignment, when I took my car in the employee who quoted me the price wasn't there, the new manager, you guessed it, told me that the alignment wasn't added to that quote, so more monI don't know that I can in good faith recommend Buds again. At least with the current manager there that seems more interested in his bottom line than actually serving the customers. Very disappointed. Great customer service! Went there about 6 months ago for tires and oil. They were great, had my then 5 month son with me, my son is usually very calm, which he was calm for most the time. When he started getting a lil fussy one of the workers gave him a small squishy type ball to play with, that made him happy. The service was great, the employees were great. I had recent work done here... was treated very kindly, was notified promptly when a change in the original estimate was needed. My situation required being brought home while work was done and picked up when it was completed. They graciously provided this for me. I returned months later with a sudden rattle. I was not charged for them to determine the origin. It was related to the last work , but not a critical issue and they handled it in an hour (from the time I pulled in, to the time I pulled out). Thank you, to Kent, for thoroughly explaining all work, to insure my understanding, and providing excellent, friendly service both times I have needed it. On July 17,2018 I had new tires, balance and other maintenance done. Mike was accommodating, helpful and professional. The next day, while driving I noticed my car was pulling to the right. I had a very intense schedule and could not return with my car. I needed my car ready for a long trip by Saturday. Bud agreed to have my car picked up from my work. He didn't try and force me into the most expensive tire. He got me the best bang for my buck. I was able to make an appointment that worked for me with easy. I took my 2005 Pacifica back to Bud's Tire and Wheel for a transmission flush. I provided them with the transmission fluid and they quoted me $65.00 which is very competitive. I requested that Manny Bautista, one of their top mechanics, to work on the car again. Manny was very professional and treated the the car as if it was his own and he did a wonderful job. When I went to pick up the car I brought an alignment issue to their attention, my alignment was done over a year ago at the Moreno Valley Store and it was no longer under warranty, so they asked me to leave the car for an inspection. Manny and the service writer called me and said that the car needed an alignment and they did it at no charge and they only charged me $52.00 for the transmission service after giving me $13.00 off. Thank you Manny and thanks to Bud's tires, they do deserve all the 5 stars that they have earned from me and many other happy customers. Great customer service! I had an AMAZING experience here. I blew a tire on the freeway, and the tow truck driver took me here. Rich continues to keep our small fleet of cars running, keeps us informed of upcoming needs and treats us as if we were family. Arrived at Bud's tire pros at 9:00 AM. After 40 minutes I see a random person pull in and within five minutes his car is on the rack. Meanwhile I go get something to eat come back and my car still hasn't been looked at. I go get a haircut across the street and come back, still my car has not been looked at. I have to wait to talk to a manager, let him know that my car is still sitting in the parking lot and 30 minutes later I see them start to pull it into the bay. All I wanted was a simple tire change. And two hours after I arrived to the store my car is barely being put on the rack. I recommend that if you need work done at this establishment, drop your car off and leave it all day long if you have plans. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't come here, unless you want to be overcharged, lied to and have your car damaged. Because they care about ripping people off with mediocre service more than anything. Had a coolant leak and had to get my car towed to Bud's because it was close. Originally came back to me with a price of 1444(without tax) to replace my water pump, radiator. I was like okay, then a couple hours later said that they needed a more expensive radiator and went up to 1603, and I was like okay I guess. Calls back again in a hour and said that they needed to replace the thermostat and serpentine belt as well so it will be 2004 but since they felt "bad" they kept finding more stuff to replace, so they knocked some of the parts prices down and they said they can do it for 1732. I was like alright. Around 349 price in parts, and 1382 in labor. They charge 120 per hour. This is where it starts to get shady, I noticed that everything was charged for 120 per hour except for the replacement of the radiator, it was charged at 140 per hour and I pointed it out to my service writer and he said he "doesn't know" why I was charged extra, and he fixes it so it went down to 1669. I receive my vehicle and the seal in front of my hood was not even put on all the way correctly leaving me to correct it myself. I open my driver side door and it squeaks with a certain popping noise and it was something I knew for a fact my door was never doing in the beginning. Tried to get a coupon applied for 10% off labor to reduce the overly expensively labor but they apparently talked to the manager and he denied and they couldn't fix the door they damaged. My personal experience and never again. Hopefully it will help the next person. The feeling of getting ripped off, lied to, and even getting your car damaged. Place is shady and unbelievable. read more

Bud, I'm sorry but we came to you with a transmission problem and you decided to work on something else. Not being knowledgeable with cars I feel we were taken advantage of. We were never told that you did not work on transmissions, nor did they ever recommend another place of service to get the work done. As far as I'm concerned your company took advantage of 2 women. I stick by word and will never be back again for service, nor will I ever recommend Buds Tire to anyone, but will warn them of this type of dishonest service. I have used your company before (for tires, oil changes), etc. and I feel the service has gone down hill. We decided to use you and we got burned, and I will make sure this doesn't happen again to me or my daughter. Great reputation and honesty play a big part in my life and your company does not fit that criteria. Also, you called me, left a message to call you back, which I did (I left a message for you to return my call) and you did not return my call.
