It's low key, well located (though parking on Main Street is nightmare), and the staff is outstanding, really friendly and accommodating. The food is good, tasty, generous portions and well seasoned and you cannot beat the price point. Brunch for 3 adults and 1 kid was $58! I love the variety on the menu: Brazilian, Cape Verdean, and American dishes. The only critique I have is that they were understaffed. The girls who work there did not stop working the whole time we were there! Clearly doing their best to get to everyone, but despite their efforts service was slow. Walked into this's place originally because of the mimosa flight sign. It definitely peaked our interest. The owner was working and immediately greeted us, and we sat at the bar. We ordered our drinks and then ordered some meat pies I got the mimosa flight, which is awesome and I loved it and my friend got the Strawberry frozen margarita Which was definitely worth ordering . I've come to Perry-Lima Cafe numerous times and tried several items off their menu including the jag and eggs and Benedict. Everything is always good tasting and the service is very nice and fairly quick. I saw a post by a Karen that said they ordered an American cheese omelette and gave a 1 star review because they thought it was cheddar cheese. It's clear in the photo the cheese was yellow American cheese. Also, if you are giving out 1 star reviews for a basic order like that it should be ignored. Went here for the first time today and it was amazing. The food was fresh, hot and made-to-order. My friend had the Egg BLT sandwich which looked so good that I'll get that next time! I had the Irish Benny and it was fantastic. I saw several other items on the menu that I also thought looked great. They were able to accommodate a large group outside (12+) as well as my party of two and another group of 6 had just finished as we were ordering. Off season for breakfast at the cape and all our go to places were closed so we broadened our choices. We are soooooo glad we did! I even hesitated to write this review because I want to keep this place for ourselves. When you walk in, it is a small place with four tables and a counter to order at. There is plenty of seating outside, but on this cooler October morning we choose inside. The owner chef is an awesome guy that help us through the Cape Verdean, Brazilian, and American style menu and we picked two items; Cape Verdean Jag and Eggs and the breakfast burrito which we asked to add vegetable too. He could not have been more pleasant and we enjoyed his sense of humor and real-life style. I ordered the Mango juice (on recommendation of another customer) I can't imagine going back and not having it. Delish! The Jag and eggs were a new experience for me and I would say a very pleasant one and my wife enjoyed the burrito immensely. Ahhh and don't forget to use the Pirata Molho de Alho - Garlic sauce - but make sure you both share : ). From the service, to the food, to the comfort, we will be returning to this wonderful experience on main street in Hyannis. read more

Loved the chicken and waffles! The gravy on top of the chicken was the best part, so yummy. The chicken was crispy, and didn't have any bones. It was $14. We went for lunch and had both great food and great service. We started with the Beef Empanadas as an appetizer and that was the only thing that was lacking in that there was not much meat in them at all. We also tried the Kibe before the main course and that was spectacular. I had the Pernil plate with fried yuca which was really good although there was much more rice and did not have as much meat as pictured on the online menu. My husband had the Carrot Cake Pancakes with a side of Cheesy Grits, and he loved both. The Guarana soft drink was very unique, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. A fantastic cafe! Has all your cafe essentials like wifi and a place to plug in. But it's so much more interesting with the wild combination of Cape Verdean, Brazilian, and American style breakfast and lunch! The food is delicious, but has that "homemade" test - it's not just filled with half a cup of oil and sugar. It's real and delicious. And the service was very fast! The owner, Fabio, is so easy to talk to and a very genuine man. So glad to have him being the person I'm supporting at this restaurant. All in all, absolutely worth a visit on all counts. Delicious homemade American and Ethnic foods for every palette! Friendly, courteous service, and very reasonable prices. We attended the cafe located in the Kingston Collection. What a great food addition to the food court. We wish them well. We can't wait until we take a ride down the Cape to Hyannis Center to patronize their other larger restaurant. This restaurant is really struggling with service. One of our orders came with the pancakes incorrect. It was super slow and the servers seemed to not know what was on the menu. They were uncertain about every question. The food was okay. The açaí bowl came in a glass cup and they should really put it in a bowl bc it was really hard to eat like that. The bathroom was super dirty. This place has great potential if they tighten the ship. read more

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant when I was on vacation. The service was really bad because the waitress would get our food order incorrect numerous times and we would have to send it back every time and this extended our time there tremendously. The food was burnt and tasteless, service was slow and overall not a good experience. Horrendous service. It appeared that they had a 10 year old working behind the bar?!?!? She also seemed to be the only one doing her job. The restaurant was sticky and humid. Even though the restaurant was boiling hot we didn't get a water until being sat for 45 minutes. One of the people at our table had received a water with food on the rim. GROSS! Which is funny considering there were minimum of 1-2 people polishing glasses the whole time while ignoring our existence. Our first waitress abruptly left as we were about to tell her our order and then it took another 15-25 for another waitress to come by. We ordered the mimosa flight and had yet to receive it for far too long, then when it arrived it was room temp. Did I mention the room was boiling hot?? When we eventually got our food it was nothing impressive, burger was fire though. A friend and I had split the burger and we asked for an extra plate, we were given a plate the size of my big toe. One person had gotten the wrong kind of eggs, another will be on the toilet considering that it said nowhere on the menu that their scrambled eggs were cheesy. The only employee who seemed to care about our table was the one cooking the food as he came later on to check on us. At the time when we were finally about to leave (maybe 2 hours after sitting) our check came with incorrect pricing. read more

I ate here with my kids on Saturday and it was phenomenal!! This is a quaint and cozy little place with a unique menu (we're tired of the same old offerings). The owner/cook was kind and personable. I got the tropical stuffed French toast (which tasted like a pina colada - incredible!), and my boys both ordered the corned beef benny & loved it!! We have places we usually hit when we visit Hyannis, but will always come back here! Don't sleep on this one- it's a definite winner!! read more

The place is very small with limited seating. I had tropical French toast which was tasty but served on a Luke warm cast iron pan which quickly cooled the toast. The side of bacon was greasy and warm. Potential is there but more attention needs to be spent of the delivery of the food. read more

Starting a business during a pandemic takes guts, determination and true passion. Fabio, owner and chef of the new Perry-Lima Cafe on Main Street in Hyannis has all three of those qualities. Although small, his breakfast menu has some very unique dishes worth exploring. We split the Corn Cakes, which features 3 perfectly savory fluffy corn cakes topped with pulled pork and a salsa-like topping that had diced onions, tomatoes, cabbage and corn, with a drizzle of BBQ on top. The dish came plated in a cast iron skillet. Utterly delicious! Our friends went with more traditional breakfast orders of eggs (1 scrambled, 1 over hard) with bacon, sausage and home fries (thinly sliced, lightly seasoned), again, cooked perfectly. Coffee was bold and piping hot, as was the food. No hot tea available and if you ask for water you will get a bottle of Poland Springs (no glassware, plastic utensils). We can't wait to go back and try his other interesting dishes like the Breakfast Charcuterie Board, the Tropical French Toast (Thick cut French toast stuffed with caramelized pineapple, whipped cream cheese and topped with toasted coconut) and especially the Cape Verdean Jag and Eggs (traditional Cape Verdean rice made with linguisa and peas topped with Eggs) YUM! read more
