Stopped by for lunch and tried the taquitos and horchata. My friends ordered the Buenos Bowl and it looked amazing. They all said they loved it and my taquitos were to die for! The horchata was delicious and I'll definitely want to try other items on the menu. Everyone working was friendly and helpful and inside feels very modern/chic, but still had a laid back feel. What an experience! 11/1 my husband and I returned to try them out for breakfast. 3 days before we had nachos that were yummy and I asked the server if they use the same chips for the chilaquiles and he said yes! So Saturday we went to try the breakfast. I asked the manager a handsome Caucasian guy who I neglected to get his name, to please make my chilaquiles on the crunchy side. He told one of the cooks but not sure he understood him. The plate I received was chips with carne asada, over well egg on top with NO SALSA the salsa was put in a cup on the side. Along with a few beans and like a half a sprinkle of cheese. The cashier who helped me even said "these don't look right! The kitchen has been messing up all day!" I said they were supposed to be red and green. The salsa I had was green. So she went to get me red salsa and a plate so I can pour over my chips! It was just chips covered with salsa at this point. I asked to speak to the manager. I explained how I wanted them and he went on to explain how they make them and I explained I know how they are made I just didn't want them soggy and you served me nachos. I asked if they could redo them and he said he would. A few minutes later a lady came to us who stated she was the owner and told me that this is the way we do them and was VERY COMBATIVE. I had to raise my voice and tell her that they had no sauce and were chips on a plate! She said well then I will give you your money back and you can go home and make them yourself! I said yes that is what you need to do! We sat there waiting for our refund and no one came so I went to the Manager and he apologized for the experience but wanted to clarify the issue. As I was explaining the issue the Owner who the Manager said was Rebecca (not sure if that's her name) Doubled down on yelling that she made my food and she put salsa on the dry chips like she was a two year old, so much that the manager had to YELL at her to shut up and go in the back! He went on to explain that they way they do them they do get soggy. He said we will refund your money. The issue is when you have customers who come into your establishment to spend their hard earned money there will be times when you don't get it right! Remember good reviews are seldom but if you act like you did you Guaranteed to get a bad review and that should not be the goal. Also when people ask me if you guys were any good I will always tell them about the horrible service and neglectful way you decided to treat a customer! If you were not sure how the customer wanted the dish prepared why not come to their table introduce yourself as the owner and say I will be the one making your dish and I would like to clarify how you exactly want it made. Those few minutes would have saved the outburst in your full restaurant and showed the patrons that their customers are important but what I got was a loud mouth obnoxious unprofessional person who was not in control of their emotions and lost good customers that eat out every Saturday! My husband and I know that we are not your only customers but what we do know as business owners you should care how everyone leaves your establishment. Because people don't care about what you know until they know how much you care! The good news is we ended up at griddle cakes where the waitress and entire staff gave exceptional service! This is a casual restaurant. You order and pay at the counter. They offer a variety of seating inside. They have traditional tables, booths, counter and bar dining. Next door is a community patio for dining outside when the weather is right. Short story - We tried a variety of tacos, rice, beans, and a shrimp burrito. Everything equaled out to a VERY GOOD but we did like some things more than other things. Longer story - It's not fast food and it does take a while to received your order. Our rice and beans came out first and took around 20 minutes. They were very fresh made and very good and were garnished with warm chips. About ten minutes latter we got our 5 tacos. For my personal taste I thought that they were slightly over sauced. Some tacos were very flavorful like the salmon and chicken. Some came out hot and fresh and others were cooled off already like the asada and the chicken tacos. They do offer salsa for embellishment. I tried the medium salsa and it was plenty hot for me. The birria taco comes with consumme but ours didn't arrive till long after the taco was gone. It came out with the shrimp burrito that came out a while after the tacos. Somehow a special order was misunderstood and the shrimp burrito came out with unwanted sauce. Someone quickly fixed the situation and a new shrimp burrito got to the table quickly. My husband said that the shrimp burrito really was amazing. He would like to get it again next time. Buenos Dias is a very good taco & more restaurant. I swung by this restaurant on a weekday with my husband to grab a quick dinner. Parking was easy because it was well past the dinner rush hour. [Ambiance] Southwestern decor style mixed with natural textures and colors. Multiple seating options are available: barstools, tables, and booths. We placed our order with the cashier and sat down in a booth. I had the following: * Chips and salsa - the salsa lacked flavor but the chips were good. * Queso Fundido - no me gusta. * Chicken taco - best thing I ate here. I was really irked that she thought that was acceptable what to speak to anyone. If I was rude maybe I would take it. A new Mexican eatery off Decatur in the Walmart shopping area. Walking in, I loved how they transformed the old Dickeys BBQ space. This restaurant is so cute! The decor, the music, the atmosphere. It's all there. There's a beautiful view of the courtyard to the side. You can eat outside if you'd like. The employees greeted us when we walked in. They were friendly and explained the menu. Everything sounded great. We opted for the carne asada burritos. I also tried the birria taco and al pastor taco. I was intrigued by the elote, so I gave it a shot. I wanted to try their horchata, but sadly, they ran out. I also wanted a churro, but they haven't started making them yet. The burritos were delicious! LOOK OUT ROBERTOS! They were on the smaller side for the cost, but it was enough to fill you up. The salsas are VERY good! I usually don't care for red salsa, but both red and green were delicious. I wish I had a few chips to finish them. The birria taco was very good. The consume was a little greasy but still good. It was a TINY taco, though. I could have easily eaten 5 or 6 but that would have gotten costly. The al pastor taco wasn't bad it lacked flavor to me. The pineapple and onion helped but still was a bit bland. I was so excited for the elote, but it ended up a letdown. The corn was great. I didn't care much for the "secret sauce" on it. The sauce itself was great alone, but not on corn. I feel like it lacked the typical elote flavor I was looking for. I probably wouldn't get it again. The food does take a little bit to come out, but it is made hot and fresh. The restaurant is very clean. Overall, it's a very nice relaxing place to enjoy some good Mexican food. If you're considering it, give it a chance! read more

I went to try this new place with my mom and our friend this weekend, and it did not disappoint! They've only been open for a week and it's a cute place that's very bright and has great food. The cashier that took our order was so kind and she gave us the rundown on the menu before we ordered. I got the classic burrito with carne asada and it was super flavorful. It came with two salsas (the green one was amazing!) My mom ordered the classic burrito with chicken, and our friend got the breakfast burrito. We all enjoyed our meal. I had seen this place since it opened, but after reading the reviews I wasn't so convinced but finally pulled the trigger! IT IS SO GOOD! I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and they were so delicious! I got no protein b/c growing up my dad never made them with meat so i love them alone. Also i got the beans on the side for the same reason. The beans alone were good though! I ate them with a spoon. My bf ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito which i tried and was good too but the chilaquiles took the prize! We also ordered the mango pancakes to share and these were definitely not my favorite. They were crumby and not really soft. They fell apart as we cut into them into crumbs and they put tajin on top which I didn't like. Definitely will skip the pancakes next time, but I will for-sure be back to try more menu items and the chilaquiles! It is kinda pricey, but I never mind paying for food that's good! read more

TLDR - Wonderful food, wonderful staff. Not your standard Mexican food. Everything is slightly elevated (for example, the waffles are made with horchata). The vibe is quirky Mexican - very cute. You should go for the delicious food but the staff there is tremendous. You order at the front and they bring the food to your table and everyone you interact with is friendly and positive. They obviously hire and train very well. They have beer and Mimosas (recently, I think) but no liquor to make Margaritas, etc. Maybe that will change.
