Chivo taste better but de Res was okay. The tortillas have a strong taste that changes the taste over all. You really have to weigh the carne before adding the consume. My wife and I ordered the same plate, I actually got 4 good tacos out of it, but she got a little more than 2. When she filled the Togo cup she didn't have any meat left. I ordered Birria tacos and they were delicious. They are the beef ones and not goat so be not afraid. I actually like the authentic version better than the beef but for all those that wouldn't eat the goat kind that's why they make the beef and is more common here at Birria restaurants in town. I was in the mood for Birria tacos today and didn't want to go thru the trouble of making them so I found this spot! Upon entering it smelled great! I ordered a three Beria taco plate with rice and beans but I didn't want rice so I asked for double beans and for one of the tacos to have cheese on it. The weight wasn't long less than 10 minutes. I got the food and brought it home. When I opened up the plate to start eating I realized I got double rice and no beans. The tacos themselves were pretty good, but I don't care for this style of rice so that was a flop. I really wanted to try the pinto beans so I don't know if I'll go back because those were the only two things I was interested in. Personally for me, it's just a turn off when the food doesn't come out as you requested paid for. Other than that, the restaurant is small, but it's really cute & looked clean and the wait staff was friendly. The tacos really are worth a try and the consume sauce that comes with it is pretty tasty. So overall, not bad. read more

Great place for Birria everything! Had Queso birria tacos and they were delicious and careful they are not street taco sized tacos, 2 will usually be enough and filling. Lots of flavor and juicy and comes with side of the birria sauce for dipping and have great salsas to go with. This is the worst food I've ever tasted in my Life. They serve old food that's been sitting around probably because they don't want to waste it and aren't busy enough to sell it all so they keep it and serve it to customers. The food literally looked gray. Not to mention how rude the staff is and they gossip about you in Spanish. If you're looking for good food, this is not the place. The whole staff has bad attitudes. Okay, if you've been searching for actual authentic Mexican food in town, stop scrolling and get yourself to Rinconcito Jalisco. This place is the real deal -- no fake flavors or watered-down dishes here. The birria? SO good. Like, melt-in-your-mouth, full-of-flavor, "I can't stop eating this" good. You can tell they know what they're doing in that kitchen. The drinks are amazing too -- super authentic and made with love (and honestly, dangerously easy to sip ). The people working are super nice and friendly, and the Agua Fresca is A1.. but the birria and consume lacks seasoning! It's like great for people with a low blood pressure diet. Season it please! Went and ordered the birria ramen and the consume broth was so flavorful and the meat was delicious. Price point for it was a bit much since the ramen in it is more like for a cup of ramen but I took home the leftovers and was able to put the broth and meat to good use for a round 2. read more
