Came here for lunch yesterday. I ordered a Cheesesteak sub with fries and my husband ordered hot boneless buffalo wings with fries. I'll took one bite of half my cheese steak and the steak was gone! I opened it and all that was left was cheese-food style cheese and a few mushrooms. The fries tasted like generic bagged fries you buy at the grocery store. My husband said his boneless wings were not hot and tasted like a damp sponge. None of it had any taste. I stopped eating my sub and took a photo because I've never ordered a cheese steak that was delivered to my table with fake orange cheese and barely any meat. (Also it was making me feel sick) When we returned home I had an awful feeling in my stomach and eventually vomited. I should've gone for the ludicrous wings. The next level down just didn't really have the spice I was looking for. Regardless, good pizza, good wings, quick seating and friendly service. Our server quickly suggested some beers but it was late at night and I was driving, so no go there. I realized why she was really really trying to sell the beer - apparently there was a contest written on the whiteboard as one approaches the men's room - not sure what the prize was, but the server to sell the most "fire sale" beers would be the winner (minimum of three sales). I really prefer the Raleigh location down in the Sam Ash plaza for the decor and ambiance. This location is certainly not the same. The food is pretty good but I usually only get the wings! Wife gets the burger and its good. Honey Jalapeño wings are my favorite , the boneless can be a little tough but the bone in are great! Wifi available and lots of televisions for sports. Kid friendly plus they have a separate bar area. This is a sports bar/restaurant so don't expect gourmet food. My wife and I visited BB on a Friday night after a friend told me about a recent great experience there. I wish I could say I had the same experience. Nothing bad, just very average. We sat at the bar, because we love the interaction with others. My wife ordered the Prime Rib on Garlic Bread and loved it. We shared the side of Loaded Potato Salad, which was also quite delicious. I ordered 10 Buffalo wings, medium sauce (normally my heat comfort level). The wings we slightly warm, small, dry and had a very light coating of sauce. These kind of wings are becoming typical - certainly not worth going out for. The Blue Cheese dressing had the same consistency as sour cream. I asked my wife to taste it, and she asked me what it was. I replied - some kind of "white stuff". Here's the really odd thing - the wings were nowhere near "medium". I could barely recognize any heat. I asked to try the next level's up. The server happily brought me Hot and Insane sauces. The Hot tasted more sweet than hot. I tried the Insane and could finally notice some heat. I have never had more than 1-2 Hot wings elsewhere without crying. I think their heat index on the sauces was way off. I'd love to see larger, hotter (temperature), moister (is that a word?) wings. I'd love to get some real Blue Cheese dressing, and some good Buffalo sauce that more closely aligns with what other's serve. Still searching for a place that serves wings that make me wants to go back for. Lastly - a nice place. Great Sports bar environment. Pleasant servers and crowd. We've been here a few times and I've taken out a few times. I pretty much have the same thing. Habenero and lime wings. The difference is the quantity. The sauce is great. Not really that hot. Wings are done and when I need takeout wings it's very easy to get My kids enjoy the pizza. They also like totinos frozen so they aren't exactly picky pizza people. read more

Some of my high school friends and I all met up this past weekend in Raleigh, and had some come in from Charlotte and we all ended up here. Wasn't where we were originally had planned on going but ended up being great for us. We all went for some drinks, but ended up putting some tables together and some of us had some food. After seeing this place had 3 stars, I should have stayed away. Sadly I'm the type who likes to live on the edge. We came in on Valentines day for lunch. It wasn't overly busy. The bar tender served us. I was tempted to try the wings but after the terrible reviews I read for wings, I wasn't in the mood for food poisoning tonight. I went with the Macho Nachos. My wife had the Buffalo wrap. The nachos came out on a cold plate and it looked like some one thew the ingredients onto some greasy chips. The nacho cheese was watery.. mild and without flavor. The meat/bean/grease was watery and also lacked flavor. What made the nachos really gross was the other cold wet ingredients they piled on it. Like cold olives.. cold tomatoes.. cold jalapeño pieces... each one of these things leaked juice onto the chips which may have been hot at one time but weren't after all that stuff was on them. I lost my appetite after a few bites. Even weirder was the little packets of sourcream and salsa that came separate like airline foid. You can tell by the amount of sourcream juice in the container it was pre packaged yesterday. A good description of the nachos was.. if an airplane stewardess tried to make them in flight. About 30 seconds of efforts I seriously think taco bell has better nachos. My wife described the Buffalo wrap as not tasting like chicken and might have been a Tysons microwaved chicken wrapped in uncrisp lettuce. One more thing... the gave us that watered down ranch. I don't know where resurant find that crap.. but you can tell the difference. I won't be returning. read more

Friendly bartender, suggested White Street Brewing Company's Kolsch which was crisp and refreshing. White Street is a local craft beer brewed in Wake Forest. I ordered my wings HOT, but they weren't that spicy. I'm always afraid to go for the extreme heat, so I max out at hot, but I feel like straight Texas Pete is hotter than these, which is not that hot. The wings have a nice crispness to them and a decent heat level, and there is a touch of sweetness that I notice but can't place it's source. The pizza is pretty good. Lots of toppings but I expected a little more flavor from a sausage pizza. It has slices of sausage, slices of pepperoni and crumbled sausage. I love the caraway seeds in sausage, and I see a few, but the flavor just isn't there. The sauce is much sweeter than I prefer, but it's tasty. The crust is fairly thick but has a nice crispness to it and it holds up well with all the toppings. There is not a distinct flavor to the crust, nor much chew. Overall, not the best pizza I've ever had, but I would try it again, maybe their white pizza next time. Friendly service, really good wings, and a decent pizza. And they are open till 2am every night, which is a much better option than Taco Bell and Applebee's. I'll go three stars based on the food, service would be rated a little higher. read more

The second time I came here, we had to flag down a waiter after 15 minutes of being ignored. Nothing good to say. We ordered an appetizer, salad, and main courses. Everything came out together. We had specifically asked not to do this. One order of "French" onion soup that was supposed to be with Swiss cheese was made with blue cheese. After sending it back and declining a new order they made a big deal about taking it off the tab. One of my guests ordered a Ranch Chicken Salad" with the dressing on the side. We were charged the full price for the salad plus extra for the dressing. All in all a terrible meal. Well let me begin with the bartending staff on Friday 2-7-2020. From 5pm to 8pm my wife and I went to the bar and were not greeted very friendly and the service was slow. Horrible service and management. I pulled the manager to the side because I saw him change towels in the restroom and immediately go grab my food and run it to me. There was no break, no time to wash hands. He grabbed my plate with bare hands after leaving the restroom and his hands were not washed. After mentioning this to the attending bartender (who says she's a manager as well) we were dissatisfied and were not even offered replacement food we were not going to pay and the food was still on the plates. She threatened to call the police and forced us to leave. Any time I have been to this location they are running around very disorganized. Just another "themed" sports bar with average food at best. The "theme" is Buffalo, NY, however, food wise, nothing here is even close to what favorites from Buffalo taste like. Just as nobody in the Raleigh area can do an actual New York City comparable veal parmigiana regardless of how a restaurant in Raleigh may claim, nobody, and in particular rip off places like "Buffalo Brothers" and especially "Buffalo Wild Wings" can not even come close to what just about every corner bar in Buffalo does with chicken wings. Here, the wings are tiny, almost tasteless, not at all crispy (the biggest sin of all) and forget about the always present carrots and celery sticks served at a Buffalo joint. And thick and lumpy blue cheese dip? Forget about that too. And, shockingly for a "Buffalo" place, there is NO inclusion on the menu for beef on wick (go on line to see what that is at an actual "Buffalo" joint in Buffalo); thick cut fried bologna with fried onions on hard roll (amazing sandwich - really!); a "royal" sub (must be on a "Costanza Bakery 12" roll - not the usual shorty sub roll served in the Raleigh area - which is the best tasting sub anywhere - Philly Cheese steak included - again go on line to see what this is). And, even worse, the pizza here is just as crappy as any other sports bar in the Raleigh area. Actual "Buffalo" style pizza has a thicker crust that makes it almost impossible to "fold" as is NY style pizza, with a zestier sauce and with small "Margarete" style pepperoni that shrinks and curls into small cups with slightly burnt top edges if the pizza is baked correctly. I could go on with the menu, but the idea that this is a "Buffalo" hangout in Raleigh is a joke. Lastly, the beer menu doesn't even include any choices from the Genesee Brewery in Rochester, NY. Almost ever joint or sports bar in the Western New York area will offer Genny lager or Genny Cream Ale. It is a sin that a place that calls itself "Buffalo Brothers" doesn't offer any Genny beer. Same for ersatz "Buffalo Wild Wings", which, by the way, this place is much more like than anything in Buffalo, NY. Close your eyes and you could be at "Carolina Ale House" as well. read more

Didn't have a good experience. I chose to have my food delivered, so let's get that out of the way. DD was late 16 minutes. Food soggy and cold. Order was wings and bacon fries. Called the restaurant and of course it's not their fault once the food leaves the restaurant it's someone else's responsibility. Basically don't call us back unless you want to order again. The manager actually told me to take it up with DD. I work retail and we also use DD and if one of my customers is not happy trust me we take care of it. It's sad that this restaurant decides not to take care of their customers, but outs blame on the delivery service they work with. Does make sense. I can't tell one thing and that is you lost a customer that loves to eat wings and throws large parties at both home and work. The overall 3 stars for Buffalo Brothers in WF is pretty accurate to me. I actually had purchased a Groupon thinking it was for the Raleigh Lake Boon location, but then realized it wasn't. Not wanting to waste it, I made the visit down Capital to the sleepy little town north of Raleigh. I had ten bone-in wings with honey-bourbon sauce and a personal pepperoni pizza. The wings were a little dry and tough, but the sauce was good. The pizza was good, maybe a little on the doughy side. Not the best wings or pizza, I have had but A-OK. Service at the bar was passable, but they could have used more than one bartender with the number of people he needed to service. read more

I ordered online a basic burger, cheese, sauteed onions. The order was to be ready at 433, even got a text message to be there then and reply to the text to show I was waiting. I arrived and there was a young blond girl helping another car. She came to me and asked my name which I gave her and she said she would bring it out. Well, at about 447 I replied to the text again and in a few minutes my order of burger and fries was given to me in a couple more minutes. I live 3 minutes from Buffalo Brothers. When I got home, the fries were not crispy as advertised, and room temperature. The burger has shrunk in size too and was just barely warm. Besides the fries being cold and not crispy, instead of fries being about 3-4 inches long, these were 1-2 inches long - the dregs left at the bottom of the fries pit. For a lot less than the $18 I paid, I could have had a better burger at Burger King and Wendy's than Buffalo Brothers. Do not order take out, it will be cold and not delivered on time. read more
