The first time I went last year, it was delicious!! I went yesterday & I was disappointed. The citrus dry rub wings were fire! Loved those. But my grilled chicken bowl; ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! It's a grounded chicken patty that was grilled and cut up with rice & lettuce. The pic on the menu appears to be a chicken breast. I've never had a bowl with a cut up patty. I didn't see it until I got home. SMH. I took 2 bites. Wasted money. I'd rather them say they are out of chicken breast or ask if I want a chicken burger. I was craving wings and randomly found America's Best Wings on DoorDash. I am so glad I did! I am a huge wing fan - good wings of course, and I am pretty picky. Wings should be wet, crispy but not overcooked or burnt, and never frozen. You should be able to eat them without wondering where the meat is. I think ABW absolutely deserves 5 stars because they checked all the boxes. I have tried the Mango Habanero and Mild Buffalo - both amazing but Mango Habanero is where it's at! I actually only order that flavor now, because they are that good! Spicy with a hint of sweet and so delicious! I have also tried the cheeseburger, not the best I have ever had by any means, but definitely hit the spot for a basic burger. The staff and I have grown to know each other and they treat me so good :) when I call they know what I'm going to order and when I get there if it's not ready they communicate to me the wait time. Wings are not good and the fish is not good either. The fish was not cleaned well. I had scales and bones in every bite and the grease was old tasting. The wings had the same issue. There is no care in their food and it's pricy. If you are gonna spend 50$ on wings and fish get it from somewhere that cares about the food they are selling. I wonder if these young men are interested is serving good quality food. Because the wings without the salt on the surface were very bland and very greasy. There is a way to fry without making your food greasy or just bake them. You need to soak the chicken in marinade before you fry it and the grease needs to be clean and strained or just replaced.
