The food here is now hit or miss! Either everything is wonderful or really bad. Example last Friday we ordered delivery. We had the special sub w ten wings! The steak and cheese bread was so soggy when it arrived we could not pick it up. My daughter ordered the ten wing the sauce came separate on the side and in the box was ten plain wings! A native of upstate New York, and an avid wing fan; i've been in search of good quality wings ever since I moved to Virginia. Of all the places I've tried around here Buffalo Phillys of Smoketown has it down pact. These wings aren't greasy, Have a variety of flavor options, and most of all know how to blend a kick with a little bit of sweetness. I've personally had the opportunity to try the "Wing King" Drew Cerza's masterful variety of wings. His are what i hold all other wing to in comparison. Now phillys' wing aren't his mind you but they do a good job of hitting close to home. I cannot stress though that this is the smoketown location not the daniel sq. I would not recommend ordering for delivery from this establishmentment. There was an hour wait time. I didn't receive my drink with my meal. They manager offered to remake my food and send it out with the food. However, that took another hour and was also not fresh. Then the driver asked if I still had the original order. What were they planning on doing with food that another customer received an hour prior? The french fries were soggy, the mozzerella sticks cheese wasn't melted, and the honey bbq sauce was nothing soecial. We have ordered from here 3 times and each time have had a problem. From forgotten food, cold food, lost driver (and can't get ahold of them to give them the address AGAIN), to people not understanding what we ordered. We will not be ordering from them again. You may have better luck with pick up but do not order delivery. The only reason for 2 stars is the food isn't bad. read more

I see some of the reviews here talk about the poor delivery service. I can't say I've only ever had dine in or carry out from Buffalo Philly's, but I can absolutely speak for their food. In short?Fantastic cheese-steaks. The best I've found in the Northern Virginia area. This is one of the few restaurants I miss being able to eat at since moving out of Dale City. The cheese-steaks are flavorful, well seasoned subs on soft rolls. Both the steak and chicken subs are great. They also have a great selection of cheeses for them, including american, provolone, cheese wiz, and pepper jack. The staff, although a bit overwhelmed due to being understaffed at times, has always been kind and polite to me. I've also had the curly fries, waffle fries, and mozzarella sticks. All of these are above average fried sides. I recommend getting cheese wiz and marinara to make them a bit better as well. Overall, I read some of the other poor reviews on here, and a majority seemed to have problems with delivery, not the food itself. Stop by and give them a try! I think you'll be surprised! read more

This is the best local place for burgers, subs, wings and sandwiches. I get their buffalo chicken burger and it is delicious. I love their curly fries. Their sliders are amazing as well. They have great customer service every time I have been to this place. Definitely recommend it! read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered! If I could give negative stars I gladly would. I even asked for names and contact information for the business/managing partner(s) and received neither. I was also told numerous times that refunds are not permitted. Only remaking of the items are allowed. Nowhere in the establishment or online is this policy available for the consumer to see. My story starts with an online order at approximately 12:09 pm. My order is delivered around 1:20-1:25. And it's wrong. Come to find out it MAY have been my fault. HOWEVER, I call and they offer to replace. Thanks! !! Boy was I wrong! I get a call from a female employee about 15 minutes after they say a remake is on the way, and I am told it's not their fault and too bad. They will not remake the sub.(i am allergic to onions and cannot eat them. The sub was loaded with onion). I drive up there with the original, cold cheese steak (yes it was delivered cold) and again am faced with the worst customer service ever. As a past patron (2-3 times a month for many years). When I'm in the area for work this is my go to for wings and hoagies. They have very good wings and plenty of sauces to choice from. Their curly fries and cheese are really good as well. Service is always friendly and fast. Most of their food is good. It's in a very busy plaza so parking sometimes can be challenging. read more

The food is absolutely outstanding. Best Philly cheesesteak I've had in Woodbridge. With that being said, the staff nearly makes it not worth it. Every single time I call in my order I can never understand the person on the phone and they can never understand me. For the most part it's usually this one particular lady answering the phone, and if I had just been ordering for me I would have hung up on her. I have never had to repeat myself so many times in my life. She was very nice about it but still. I know a few other people that have called in and gotten her and have had the same problem. They have terrible wait times as well. I once called in my order then 45 minutes later went to pick it up. After having to repeat myself a million times to a different girl at the register (kept asking me what I ordered) I found out they hadn't even started my order (and no they were not backed up). There was another guy in there who told me he had called in his order 15 minutes before showing up, and still had been waiting 20 minutes when I came in. Come to find out they hadn't started his order yet either. So not only do they have you waiting light years, but I stood there watching them converse with one another not in any hurry to make the food. They also never remember the blue cheese. This review is really all about the delivery service. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they offered delivery service. The food was pretty good, but because of how long it took for them to deliver it, I'm only giving it one star. I called twice and spoke to the same young lady both times. My first call was at just a little over an hour after placing the order and I was told driver would be there in 10 min. Second call was at an hour and half. I asked to speak to the manager and was told I was talking to the manager. No offense, but she sounded like she was 16 years old. I expressed my disappointment and all she offered was to call the driver to see where he was. As I was talking to her he arrived. He did apologize, something about the street numbers. I would have declined to give a tip, but when you place your order through delivery.com a tip is added for you. I like Bufffalo Philly's, but this will be the last time I order delivery. I've eaten here before and thought the food was good, enough to at least be a repeat customer although the food has carried each time I've ordered sometimes very good other times way to greasy... Unfortunately after ordering for delivery they failed to deliver my complete order on 2 separate occasions... Recently I decide to give it another try and ordered from them again this time they were not as late as the last time claiming because I had ordered my baby brother a burger that it was the reason for the delay (Lol and hour and 45 min "delay") once arriving after having paid I realized they forgot my complete order AGAIN! Ordered here for the first time tonight. It took almost an hour and a half to get the delivery. I ordered a cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup and pickles. It was not even close to being warm (much less hot) and it was just not good. The mozzarella sticks were tepid at best, but even after I put them on the oven for a few minutes they were still not very good. My daughter didn't complain about her salad, so I assume it was okay. If i could rate lower I would. After placing an order for delivery and waiting over and hour we call to check on the status only to be told that the food is still there and hasn't left. I asked them nicely to remake the fries so they wouldn't be freezing cold when they arrived. Did they care? Placed an order at 1:28pm for delivery and was told that it was going to be 45 minutes to an hour. At 3:19pm I called back and was told that it was on the way but it was taking a while because there was only one delivery driver. Finally called back at 4:00pm to cancel the order only to have one of the cooks answer the phone and tell me that my order was never even made and perhaps the ticket had never even printed out.
