This was my first visit with him and will be my very last. Unfortunately, my regular doc has left the practice and through default I saw him. Not impressed at all. Not personable, went on and on regarding my bone density test, apparently assuming I knew what he was talking about. I told him I was having difficulty with my Fibromyalgia, and he quickly stated, "there is no treatment for that". Under diagnosis he treats, online, clearly lists Fibromyalgia a one he indeed treats, (Dr. Raja treated me for this and diagnosed it.) He quickly changed the subject to my RA and treatments available. I told him I had not made a commitment to those treatments at this time. And that was that. No physical exam, no words of encouragement, nothing. Come back in six months and you will be seeing the PA. When I got home under today's diagnosis, he had put down a diagnosis he never discussed with me, and I had never heard of. When I looked up Toxic Myopathy, that diagnosis refers to a patient who has muscle pain due to drinking too much alcohol? What??? Oh no, last straw, not going back.

Everyone in the office was helpful to get me checked in and make my appointment schedule for the next few weeks. The facility is really great and my therapist is very helpful and supportive with my injury. We're creating a plan to do before and after surgery so I can make a full recovery in hopes of getting back to normal quicker. So far I'm very happy with this facility, my therapist, and the team here. They're giving me some good vibes and hopes for my post surgery recovery.

I don't have time to wait 15 minutes for a receptionist to answer the phone. I can't leave a callback number as my work hours coincide with excelsior's receptionist hours. I don't have time to drop everything and answer my phone. I don't have time to sit around, if I'm home, waiting for a callback. Plus, I work in a noisy factory where I rarely hear my phone ring. So, this is a major complaint of mine about excelsior. I've spoken to my doctors there repeatedly but apparently, they haven't changed their phone answering system or hired more people to just answer phones and take appointments. 3 stars, simply because it's so hard to get anyone to answer a phone.

The Cardiologist is the most genuinely kind person, and very compassionate. He explains the results of the diagnostic tests to the patient in a clear and concise manner.

He was given lortabs, Percocet , Vicodin , klonapin , fentanyl patches , because he had an accident BUT never took one . He relied on the neck injections and went to rehab PT and exercised daily . The waiting room looked like deaths waiting room . Everyone was strung out and slumped over waiting on refills and not one was ready to rehab themselves at PT . They literally handed out scripts like candy and one after another after another grabbed a prescription and bounced out. Kind of wonder about the lady that stunned her toe and got fentanyl patches and Percocet BUT hay ! Dr knows best ! Not sure I would recommend this place u less you need drugs !

I respected my medication, I appreciated it because it gave me the ability to care for many loved ones. Quality of life was returned following 3 failed surgeries and countless specialists. Dr. Gosey cared. He took a variety of approaches. My dosages were at a level I was in my right mind . Today pain management for most is abusive. Many are getting ripped off the only med that works anymore ( with drastic reductions in strength already). and pushed towards more surgery, etc. The pain scales means nothing. It seems funny to me that if patients abused their meds can go and blame the doctor. I lost a lot of loved ones due to alcoholism- they abused alcohol. Did anyone blame the alcohol makers? The stores that sell it? no. Another thing to question is it seems ( I am in a few pain sufferers groups) across America. Seems many states had their main pain management Doctors arrested. Then the attack on pain patients. While doctor Gosey was under attack- workers comp was already doing court cases to get patients off meds. This includes pain creams, pain patches and more. It all felt so orchestrated. Some blamed Gosey for their woes but who is considering the pain patients that ended their lives when pain relief was ripped away. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Gosey for allowing me to feel very little pain , so I could have quality of life. I'm being stripped of it now, there is zero compassion. My quality of life is low but that is not an issue for the pain management group. He will always be to me the doctor that listened, had compassion, and offered a variety of treatments including nerve blocks, pressure point injections, creams made up at pharmacy that helped with swelling, pain, lidocaine patches and more. All no longer ok- not ordered or allowed by comp. Dr. Gosey will always be my favorite doctor, because he cared.

I personally like the feel of a women empowered medical office. They truly want to get to know you and your medical history! They won't stop til they have answers and your input! If your looking for a Rheumatologist than look no further. They'll send you for any medically necessary tests and review test results with you in office or over the patient portal. They respond to your voicemails within 48 hours unless your a new patient and then it would probably be longer. Discovered Rheumatology Wellness Center in 2017 and will be here for a long time. Remember they are flexible as to your medical treatments moving forward. If your looking for a relaxing and calm office setting this is your place!

As you may have read before on reviews of mine that when it comes to Doctors one of the things I insist on in my or my families physicians is Compassion and Knowledge and this practice has that in Spades. Dr. O'Neil is amazing, she was able to effectively diagnose and start appropriate treatment for an issue that has just recently cropped up in a family member. So starting off, the office has a calm, peaceful vibe. Its not just the staff, the colors are muted and pastel, the music in the waiting room is calm, the staff is welcoming and the waiting room has something you almost never see in a doctors office: comfortable furniture. The Nurses and the Doctor herself are top notch also. My family member went in with a migraine brewing to a visit, and the nurses made the room dark as soon as they were done with triage and spoke quietly out of concern. The Doctor offered acupuncture (normally something they charge for) to stop it in its tracks. Now I don't know if I ever believe that stabbing yourself with thin needles is spots is a cure for anything, but within 10 minutes she felt the pressure diminish and within 15 minutes the pain was gone. This is just ancillary service btw, the actual issue that brought my family member in was nailed immediately and a proper course of treatment was started right away and that, I might add, started reversing much of the Symptomology immediately. If you have an issue that requires a Rheumatologist I highly recommend this practice.

All of the medical staff was professional, informed and caring. They went out of their way to make sure she was informed of what was going done and what was being done, all of which was explained in plain English. The nurses were hard working and in most cases the most professional we have ever encountered. (One had a bad attitude and only appeared in the room once). Response times to the nurse call button was very, very fast even in the busiest times. The longest wait during the entire stay was about 5 minutes and was accompanied with profuse apologies when the nurse arrived. Emergency room staff was caring and very easy to speak with. All of her and my questions were answered, again, in plain English. As the test were being done, we received regular updates about time frames and results when they were available. Transportation staff in all areas of the hospital were caring and very professional. Without exception, they were personable and very easy to speak with. The rooms were exceptionally clean and kept well stocked with items that staff and my wife needed. Bathrooms were also clean and there was an ample supply of soaps, wash cloths and towels. The only down side to the entire stay was the food which must be explained came from the Buffalo General Hospital kitchens. For the first 2 days, the food was visually appealing and very tasty. After that, the quality and quantity degraded incredibly and the requested menu items were usually missing and replaced with other items that her previously prescribed low salt and post heart attack special diet mandated. Menus never seemed to match availability. There also seemed to be a cross contamination issue as the fruit plates provided with her cottage cheese always (3 instances) smelled and actually tasted like fish. At one point, she was feeling very weak. From experience, we knew salt was so low that it was below the mandated Ievels. I had to bring in outside foods to help. That was nothing that a bag of Fritos couldn't fix. Visitor food options are well met by the facility cafeteria and several individual providers. In closing, this medical facility is as good as it gets. The care is incredible but bring your own food.

I was practically living on antibiotics. I demanded a referral here as they also have immunologists. I just knew something else was wrong with me but I didn't know what! Then I met Christina Long here and after discussing everything, she suggested it may be migraines .. that 80% of migraines are misdiagnosed as sinus infections! She did still do testing on me though to rule anything else out. My tests were normal and she referred me to dent for my migraines but also prescribed a different nose spray than the other doctors have. The combination of the new nose spray and the migraine treatment I now receive has completely changed the quality of my life! I cannot believe it took 10 years for someone to tell me this is migraines! I went an entire year without antibiotics which was incredible to me! I am forever indebted to PA Christina Long for changing my life so quickly and truly listening to me.

When I got called for my shot I was asked by the tech- "how are you?" I briefly explained- bad, my dad is in the hospital. Been a tough couple days. I said "I know I'm here for my allergy shot but I have a history of sinus infections and my ear has been bothering me. Can someone take a quick look so I don't end up at urgent care this weekend- I just have too much going on for that to happen." They absolutely refused. I was told to make an appointment with my primary- mind you it's Friday. Was told we only have two providers on staff. OK, so I have to wait 20 minutes after my allergy shot before I leave and they can't/ won't take 2 minutes to look at my ear. That's an F- for compassion, and an F- for quality care

I even brought a book with me expecting to be waiting around a while but I didn't need it. After my initial vitals were taken Mike the PA came in a few minutes later. He was friendly and listened to my concerns. I thought everyone here was lovely including the xray tech on. I didn't catch her name but she was super sweet and friendly. I was in and out in under an hour and this was with a chest xray and breathing treatment. Mike sent my prescriptions in immediately and they were ready basically in 10 min at my pharmacy. I would highly recommend coming here and make an appointment if you can.
