We don't eat out often, but BWW is a guilty pleasure & since moving to Anchorage this summer we have been here 6-7 times. Typically I don't expect much from BWW but this location has impressed us. Every. Single. Time. Until this Saturday that is.... We came in about 2pm & it was slow. Seated right away and a few minutes later Monica appears. Enter crappy service. She acted like we were interrupting something important she had going on & made comments about the way we ordered that were unnecessary and def not tasteful. Shortly after I had to listen to her argue with the table behind us about how they ordered (misunderstanding, shouldn't have been an issue but she blamed them for not knowing how to order) She didn't check on us or offer to get us second drinks. Customer service is important to me. Needles to say overall bad experience. It will be a while before I'm back. And I won't be seated in her section!! read more

Not sure if there is new management or what but this place seems to have their act together finally. Chris is on it and one of the best servers I have had in a long time. Was in here a few months ago and sat at the bar for 20 minutes with no service and ended up walking out. Chris is the man super fast friendly and super helpful. I'm taking a star away. I came in with the same buddy I came with last time. Sat in a section this time, but it isn;'t much different than the bar, so dark with all those TV's yelling at me. I guess I don't like sportsbars too much... Anyhoo we came in and it was slightly busy, but got a table right away. We ordered food and got watered and then spent the better part of an hour waiting for the food. The waitress kept coming by and saying it's coming" or "they're traying it up now" and "i'll be right back with it". Even she knew it was ridiculous, but I would hve rather she didn't keep coming back and doing that. We gave it 4 more minutes and walked out. It wasn't even a big order. I'm being pretty nice giving them a 2 star. Staff are usually polite but definitely not enough of them. Slow service. Food always comes out cold. Never received part of my order. Boneless wings are pretty bad, either soupy and drowning in sauce or they barely put any on. Overall really bad compared to the ones out of state I've been to. read more

This is the most disappointing buffalo wild Wings I have ever been to. Start by saying the server was a moron, slow, and didn't have clue on how to wait on customers. Got our wings and first they were way hard like over fried and hard. Then they barely had sauce on them and miss counted, got 9 instead of 12 on one plate and 10 instead of 12 on the other. Food took no kidding 40 minutes to get and the place had 5 customers no kidding. Manager came over and said "what's up dude" to my husband after we complained about the food. Really "what's up dude???????" Wow that's really professional and walked like he thought he was a ganster or something and looked his as a kite. This was the last time we will ever go to this Buffalo Wild Wings in Anchorage. Others out of this state are awesome with no issues. This one, stay away from!!!! I'd rate them 3.5 stars if I was able to but I've had only good experiences so I rounded up to 4 stars. I come here often when I crave wings or just to go somewhere to watch whatever is hot in sports. I've had good service most every time I've been here and to be honest, most all chicken wings are the same no matter where you get them from. I only eat chicken here but they're neither really awesome nor are they bad at all. I love coming here with friends and the food is good but pricing is a little too high. read more

The wings and appetizer were served at the same time. Our server was surprised to see a different server bringing our order. Apparently our order sat around for a while, forgotten by our server, it was all cold. This is all finger food coated with sticky sauce, had to ask for napkins, our server delivered one paper napkin to each of us then i had to get up from the table to find more napkins, ran into our server and asked if we only get issued one paper napkin at a time. My daughter suggested they should have the little bowls of lemon water at the table to rinse your fingers in. (DUH). Bad first impression. Not likely to return. read more

The wings are amazing, we had a sampling of everything and was all good. There was about a 30 minute wait to get a seat but they got us in fast enough, the wait for the food was mitigated by the video poker. Waiters and waitresses were cute and friendly A++ will be a regular stop! read more

I was in town for two weeks, went here five times, twice on NFL football Sunday. Food was really good every time I went. Only bad thing about this place is the prices, really high compared to lower 48. The bill was always over $40 during every visit for just me and my 11year old son. Wings are fantastic and consistent, what else do you need to know? Beer selection is great, gf's fruity drinks are good. Fries are solid, burgers are great, nachos suck though (chips not strong enough). Those people who complain about bad service are either extremely rude or are too hammered to remember what actually happened. Wish I could give it zero stars, I received the worst service in my life here today. GO TO THE PEANUT FARM. I waited over 45 min to order and then an hour to receive my burger. The burger came and it was, no joke, just a bun and patty. No lettuce no nothing and the best part was is that it wasn't even warm. We ordered wings online for pick-up. We literally ordered JUST wings--two ten pieces, that's 20 wings. We paid over $30!!!! As the daughter of someone who was born and raised right outside where the original Buffalo wings were created (Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY) I have kind of high expectations for wings. I don't normally eat at B-dubs because I can usually find a really good local mom and pop sports bar for some good wings, but I don't know of any places around here and I had a pregnancy craving for some buffalo wings so we ordered from B-dubs. If we had gotten a full meal with sides and drinks with our wings, then $30 would be reasonable, but not for ONLY 20 wings. Other than being really disappointed with the price, the wings were good even though they were almost cold by the time we got home (but I am not blaming B-dubs for that). I can definitely say that it satisfied my craving. But my goodness were they warm. I ordered medium and hubby ordered hot, that's what we usually go with, but I think the heat level was higher than most medium and hot because we could barely handle it without burning lips and eyes haha. I'm not complaining about that, though because I'm glad there was actually some spice content. Just giving our opinion about how hot those two flavors actually were in comparison to others. Had a bad experience with buffalo wild wings. Our group was rudely pushed out of the bar side by the waitress, basically because we were just waiting for our table & didn't want to order appetizers yet but we were ordering drinks! Got our table, they forgot our drinks, didn't get parts of our order till the end of the meal, waitress spilled hot sauce all over my husband's pants & shoes, & our bill was all messed up. Mango habanero was pretty good, asian zing was alright, & the parmesan garlican was meh. Still had a good time in a new atmosphere with good friends & good laughs though.
