When Buffalo Wild Wings first came out I felt like it was the place to be, there was excitement around it. Now however it seems like its just not as exciting. Even walking in to this location there were several customers standing around. Some were waiting for a table, others were picking up to go orders, others were, I don't know. The host however just kinda kept us standing there. We looked at her she looked at us and I guess it never dawned on her that we wanted to be sat. I think she thought we were with some of the other people who seemed to be just standing around. Crowd control comes to mind. However we were sat and it's the same thing as it's been. A small drink menu and wings and some glorified bar food. Nothing on the menu is a must have and nothing on the menu is something that I couldn't get anywhere else. I ordered a burger with no bread....And for whatever reason, they put the toppings on the bottom, which made it very soggy, and made all the lettuce and everything ...soggy. Love coming to any bdubs to watch the Colts play but the food is alright. We ordered the "pick 6 meal". We both got the boneless wings with sauces but they were half coated with sauces so had to ask for side of sauce to dip in... fortunately they didn't charge us extra for it which other locations does. The potato wedges were extra crispy & half the size from the menu (not shown in my pics) but they were tasty if you don't mind extra extra crunchiness. We got home and opened our to go order to find almost of our wings burnt and even the ones that weren't clearly burnt still tasted burnt. We tried to pick out the ones that looked edible but they were not. Not sure how this even made it into our Togo boxes when you can see they are black. The bartenders are the the only reason I gave two statrs. The bathrooms have had a problem for years. Standing water at times on the floor. I've been here when the plumbers and rotorooter come. They never fix the problem. They only put bandaids on it and the restaurant ends up smelling like ass. The owners are well aware of the problem now and if they rent they are morons. This is the typical location with a lot of massive athletic decorations and ESPN strewn all over the screens. It's the classic high School hangout for overpriced, extremely unhealthy, and service as random as Steak 'n Shake. I dropped in the late night for twelve wings. Through the app which was on time too, all was ready when I arrived and didn't wait much at all, I noticed a decently clean well designed space. I'm not a fan of their expensive menu somehow managing to not pay workers a living wage. There are many better options in the area. But when wings happen to be free I cannot complain! We normally avoid dining at chain restaurants, but we decided to give it a go when we received some gift cards. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly, but the table could have been cleaner. However, my teenager pointed out that we don't eat off the table but off the plates. The food arrived promptly and was exactly as we had ordered. However, I was annoyed that I was charged extra for blue cheese with my wings. I was not aware that this was an additional charge on top of the BOGO wings offer and the waitress didn't mention it. I was given eight cups of blue cheese, but I only used one, and they charged $1.50 for each cup. I did not like the ladies' bathroom as the walls looked old and dirty (on purpose), and the entrance was right next to the kitchen entrance. There are so many better places for wings, bar food and sports, but the family we were meeting here said they have updated their menu for the better so we went to watch the Colts lose. I opted for something healthier, the Buffalo Wedge Salad that looked awesome on the menu but in reality looked and tasted lame. The lettuce was dry and witty, looking like it should have been trashed a day or two prior. There was one, small chicken strip in the menu with a sparse amount of dressing. (Hey, mission accomplished on eating healthier). The servers are stretched too thin here to try to get their attention and send it back so I didn't bother. Heck, my beer got warm from trying to sent it back because it was flat. Others in the party ordered their new smash burger, which I had a bite of and immediately had food envy. This location just doesn't operate well. It's always been an issue but with the carry out only model they are running now it's even worse. It doesn't matter what time your online order says it will be ready. You'll sit in a line of 40+ cars for up to an hour before you can get your food. When you get your food it will be cold and gross because it's been sitting for an hour. I get that times are difficult right now and it's unlike anything in the past but if it's not working try something else! Number parking spots and deliver the food based on pick up time of the order not the cars position in the line. Texas Roadhouse, Chuys and several other restaurants do this and it works so well! Have a separate line for delivery drivers and carry out customers. Get more staff. Stop offering BOGO deals if you can't keep up with the demand. Make everyone pay online ahead of time, running credit cards seemed to be what slowed down the line the most. When you finally make it through the line the staff isn't wearing gloves or masks. Makes you wonder how cautious they are being about stopping the spread of the virus. Kudos to them for keeping up the demand though. It's been like this for over a month now. I can live with a slow service once in a while, no big deal. However tonight was a absolute nightmare. So we get seated. It was busy but not slammed. This BWW has a great bar area in the back with tons of space and plenty of tvs. We love coming here to watch football. The service in the bar area is really good which isn't always the case at this kind of establishment. Service can make or break an experience and we will keep coming back as long as the service stays attentive. We had a few beers and tried the new boneless wings. They seemed to have more meat and less breading so they passed the test for me. We also decided to try the new original buffalo sauce which was a bit more spicy and butter based than the classic medium. It was good and a nice change from the usual.
