We all should know about what we are getting with BWWs. It's not a gourmet foodie place. It's TVs, beer, over-priced chicken wings, and some other stuff. It's a typical 3-star chain food place where the typical human only goes once a year for a sporting event or birthday party. After a 14 hour day of competition at the local college, I took my team (12 people) to BWW to get some food before bed. As it was 10pm, we had limited options of where to go but the late night menu would meet our budgetary needs. Also, college kids eat anything. I figured it would beat a long wait at in and out. After a very long wait (our visit took nearly 2 hours), we were informed that the $5 burgers were not available because they ran out of meat. Given the price of the other menu items, I saw that our bill would likely go from $100 to $200 without the burger option. But the difference between a bad review and a good one is how a manager handles mistakes and dissatisfaction. The manager that night agreed to substitute a chicken or brisket sandwich for the burgers at the same price. We had a few more small issues with orders being wrong and with the long wait. The food was just ok. Though the new chicken club sandwich is delicious and the cheese curds are to die for! It was clear that this staff was having a rough night but everyone took the right attitude and approach. Maybe I'll go to BWW more than once this year. read more

We have been to many Buffalo Wild Wings but this one seemed either overwhelmed or just not up to par. I ordered the Cobb salad and when I received it, it was missing several ingredients and was small for $14.79. I also ordered the pineapple mojito and it tasted like pineapple water. Waitress I am sure was overwhelmed but wasn't interested in fixing it except adding more to my bill when I asked for an extra piece of chicken strip because the first one wasn't as I preferred for my salad. She did make sure the ingredients that were missing from my salad were made available to me on the side but it was too late for I was hungry and ate most of the salad. Not sure any management was told but hope the evening gets better for all involved. read more

I ordered delivery. All the food was cold and the chicken was dry. I also ordered the Buffalo Wedge Salad and got a mess instead. It was just romaine lettuce slices and a dry piece of chicken with one small piece of bacon. This is not any sort of wedge salad. When I called to ask them what they gave me they said what I asked for. They asked me if I knew what a wedge salad is. I said it sure is not what I was delivered. I said there is no bacon, onions or tomatoes and just chopped romaine. She said that is what I get for a Wedge Salad. No resolve. Horrible service. read more

I ordered two shots of Jamison and they came out with a "double shot" that look like one shot. I asked them and they said "here at BWW our doubles are only 2oz" and the bill was $12 something. I know this probably sounds petty but they nickel-and-dime you for everything and there's nothing they can do to help. I'm not sure why we keep trying this place. I've had some good BW3 experiences in several states, but this one here in Chico is unfortunate. First off, one of the waitresses helping us tonight was just rude. Snarky, unhelpful and messed up some things. When we attempted to get things corrected she got so combative about things it wasn't really worth it. The fries were cold and just tasted like cardboard. Some of our wings were over cooked and dry and crumbly. A few other food items just weren't that great. For the cost it should be better. The manager is nice at least. read more

I stopped in on "Boneless Wing Thursday" thinking I might get a good deal. For just under 13 United States Federal Reserve dollars I got 15 small, bite-sized breaded chicken pieces. Wow. Of the three flavors: One was covered with a dry dust seasoning instead of the sauce that I ordered, one was only mildly sauced with obvious dry spots on the boneless wings, and one was done correctly. My ranch and blue cheese dipping sauces were in no way labeled to differentiate them but, hey, they were free which is impressive in California. I was reading up on the rewards program waiting for my carryout order and noticed that my receipt did not have any of the necessary information to get my points, such as a QR code, alphanumeric code, or even transaction number. I spoke to my server about this, the one that did not enter my order correctly, and surprisingly (sarcasm) he had little knowledge about how the rewards program worked. I even showed him the "Blazin' Rewards" app and what I was looking for and that didn't help. Sure enough when I got home I had none of the information required to earn points for my order because that information is not provided on the receipts from this Buffalo Wild Wings. Think about that. So if all of the staff here earning almost $15 per hour minimum wage, how much is someone earning per year to run this place so poorly?! Another overpriced and worthless Chico restaurant. Incredibly dissatisfied. I ordered a classic crispy chicken wrap with dry lemon pepper season and it was almost impossible to eat. It was totally over seasoned and I had to open the wrap to brush some of the seasoning off and when I did, I noticed that there was hardly any chicken in the wrap at all. I was basically eating a tortilla with lemon pepper seasoning and tomato with the occasional bite of chicken. The entire wrap, including the chicken, was also cold. My onion rings were also cold. I arrived at the store as they were boxing my food up so I know that it wasn't sitting there and waiting for me to get there. Currently I have no intentions of ever going back or recommending this location. read more

I've been to this BWW about 4-5 times. Every time I've gone my wings and sides have come out cold. Customer service is ok it's like pulling teeth to get a refill on your Pepsi. Priced too high, the boneless wings are gross like Applebees and the burger patties appear to be frozen, bad flavor...also the $17 guacamole/bacon burger came with a smidge of guacamole and uncooked floppy greasy bacon. Server was really nice and accommodating, but the corporate entity that owns the place is awful. They're out of their own beer, they're out of onion rings, potato skins, and to top it all off, they do not accept orders from their own website. I order a grilled chicken wrap. There was no issue ordering and picking it up. Once I arrived home I took my first bite into it, as soon as I was about to take another bite a spider came crawling from the bottom of my tortilla wrap. I do not remember asking for a side of spider, it was raw by the way. Went back and showed the manager as the spider was still in the wrap. He apologized and took my new order again, I am not a picky person and it takes effort to upset me. After getting my new order I was driving back home and my girlfriend had told me that they forgot to add my salsa that came with the chips. I was hangry. I couldn't eat those chips without salsa. I meant to write a review a while ago because they served me raw chicken, and didn't even comp me meal, they comped 3 peices.. which is a little crappy seems how you could have served me a disease. Anyway for the many times I've been here I don't think I've ever had a crispy or even warm French fry, and there expensive.. it feels like they make a ton of fries every 2 hours and serve them from under a heat lamp. There service is nice but overwhelmed... they're always slow because they're understaffed. I love the Buffalo Wild Wings franchise I've eaten at many establishments. This particular establishment had a 30 minute wait for 2 people with 15 open tables and didn't even clean my table off just said there is a table over there sit there. There was no how are you doing today let me help you to your table. Zero courtesy and after sitting there for less than 5 minutes are servers comes up with an attitude and says are you guys ready to order and get drinks yet like we were a burden on her life. She was not wearing a name tag so I cannot say who she was but she was not a good server by any means. My overall experience today made me never want to visit this location again. I work in the restaurant industry and never have I seen worse service and attitude. Thanks Buffalo Wild Wings for great wings but never will I return to this location. They may be under staffed. I usually place online orders for pick up. But even prior to COVID, we always have to wait over 30 minutes after the supposedly pick up time. When I arrive at the pickup counter, there's no staff visible at all for 15-20 minutes for me to even ask for help. What disappoints me even more is that I'm given short counted wings from what I ordered. Order a 12 or 15 piece and there was only 10 wings in the box. I used to love their wings. However, lately their service turns me off to the point where I would not want to enter their restaurant even if they were to give me 20-30 free wings as a service. Sauces on the wings have been on the dry side lately.... Not sure how this location is still thriving after such bad service. My online order included 2 bottles of their jammin jalapeño sauce and that was missing in the order when my friend picked it up. And When my friend asked about the sauce they said it was in the bag and did not reconfirm. They also did not want my friend to check it at the location to reconfirm. First off, this place is LOUD. I know it is a sports bar but this place is OVER THE TOP LOUD. Loud like no other sports bar. They have the music pumped up so loud you can't hear the waitress or the person next to you yelling and pantomiming to communicate. My next mistake was ordering boneless wings. I went against my inner voice telling me that boneless wings are usually poor but I did not wish to get filthy eating wings at lunch. 1) The wings were dry and over cooked 2) The wings were ALL batter and little meat 3) The batter tasted like it was made with rock salt and milk. Did I say they were SALTY? If I could make that word larger I would. They were SALTY and this is coming from someone who normally likes pretty salty food. The veggies that they brought out looked like they had been cut weeks in advance. We all know what veggies look like when they are cut too far in advance. I'm guessing they have their veggies cut in an El Salvador veggie cutting factory next door to a Nike factory. They must be bagged and shipped up on a slow boat to avoid paying the labor costs of having someone cut up a carrot locally. Then there was the matter of the blue cheese side. They brought out a plastic ramekin that was 1/10 full. Maybe it was 9/10 empty depending on how pessimistic you are feeling. I laughed and immediately asked for another one before he had even set down the first one. The next one was once again 1/10 full. I'm concerned. This is a national chain, with clearly defined standards. And this is the second time in a row they've messed up our dinner order. This time was simple--two burgers, each with fries, and a small order of cheese curds. I get the order home to find that neither order has its fries. Okay, I get it, busy Friday, right? Restaurant was less than half full, my food was (apparently) ready when I arrived, and I got there a few minutes early. ALL of their burgers come standard with fries. To leave them off is like making a burger and forgetting the beef patty. So, I called them back, and was given the option to come back for the fries (so the rest of my food would be stone cold) or get a "dollar or two refund for each burger"...which will apparently take -two or three WEEKS- to show up. First, that's a ridiculous amount of time, and second, for a pair of $14 burgers, PLUS the tip, that's insane. Bad all around. Go to Pour House instead. We sat on the patio for dinner w myself, my husband, and our daughter. It was mid-week. We waited 25 min before even being greeted at the entrance. The patio was full (approx 1/8 of thier usual capacity), due to indoor dining being closed for Covid. There were 2 employees that appeared to be serving the space. We went there bc it had been a while and we like the appetizers. We actually went to the place across the street, which HAS indoor dining, but decided rather to go to Buffalo's bc it'd been such a long time since we'd been. The service was aweful and took an extended time just to get our water! We will not be going to any Buffalo's in the country ever again! Lunch with the hubby. First, I am not in love with the franchise as a whole. Not in love with lots and lots of fried food with huge caloric levels. However, I get that many people do. So, we were in the area, and needed food. The biggest reason we choose this place was its cleanliness. It was clean. Clean. And, did I mention, clean? The entry windows, the bathrooms, behind the bar. Love a clean places. Cheerful, friendly bartender. Not the most attentive, very fixated on his side work, but we are used to advocating for ourselves, so not really an issue. Food was... good. Not going to jump up and down about it, but it was clean, fresh, and tasty. But the reason I gave it four stars instead of three is because they are hosting a *free* Christmas party for the families of the Camp Fire. Free food. Free soft drinks. Free presents. Free movies. Very mediocre. Day at bar at 1:30. Bar tender came not welcoming. No smiles or hi how are you. Nothing inspiring about service. The atmosphere even with the NBA playoffs going on was quiet. The wings (even after getting a recommendation) were very so so. $25 for 10 wings and a beer. Charged extra for some sauce as they didn't provide enough when order arrived. Basically if you want a chain experience it's ok. Nothing to make you want to return except large screen tvs. For goodness sake meet your customers with a smile and thank them for coming.
