I was standing by the waiting area while three employees just chatted for 15 seconds until two left and the other woman goes "are you sitting?" of course i am not sitting, i am waiting to be seated. and there was not even a hello that came out her mouth. just so terrible. I go to other restaurants and juice/drink places where teenagers give great customer service than these ladies in their middle 20's. Overall terrible experience! Hostess sat a party that came in after us because they were friends with someone who worked there, and we were already waiting for 40 minutes when they told us the wait was supposed to be 15 minutes. Then, it took 15 minutes for the server to bring us waters. We ordered chips and salsa and that also took about 20 minutes. The server only checked on us once and when I needed something I always had to wave her down. We had to ask another server to get something that we were missing and she just sat it down on our table without acknowledging us or saying anything. Our actual server treated us the same, never acknowledging us or saying any greetings such as "enjoy" or "let me know if I can get anything for you". I also caught her on her phone multiple times. Will never return to this location or recommend it to anyone. I have never in my life tipped nothing but this experience made me. bww...you can do better than this! HYPES: we had a great server. she was a bit sassy, but i like sassy girls :) fried pickles were yummy! GRIPES: i got the garlic parmesan wings and i literally had to force myself to eat them. they were way too saucy. and they were also way too spicy. i don't remember the spice level of the garlic parmesan being that intense at other locations. the set up at this particular location is also very strange to me. it's at if they don't want customers? there's a huge oversized bar right in the middle and tables surrounding the border. the huge bar in the middle, to me, is a waste of space. it could've been built more efficiently to accommodate more tables. we had some laughs and it was still a good time with friends, but i remember all of us having something to gripe about. and if you're with my friends, we don't purposely go out to eat to find something wrong with an establishment. so when it's mentioned openly in my group, there's something to be said about that. i didn't feel it was worth it to send my wings back because it would've took extra long to remake my chicken and everyone else got their food already. but it sucks to pay for something you weren't happy with. the stars are actually for our server, because she was great! but my hope is that they improve the quality of their food and try to at least match their other locations. read more

This review is based on a take out order from tonight, so there's not much to judge based on service. Called in an order for 4 different flavored wings and a side of fries, they said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I got there a little early and was happy to see that our order was actually ready because we were extremely hungry. We drove home and opened them within 20 minutes. The fries were cold and soggy and the chicken was hard and had such little sauce on them that we could hardly tell which flavor was which. Came in for dinner with one other person and sat down at a table on the bar-side. It wasn't busy at all so it was a little odd that the server took forever to greet us. After we got our food (which btw, my brisket burger had almost no brisket on it) another table was seated next to ours. Normally, not a big deal, but one of the patrons came in without even wearing a mask. He walked in covering his face with his shirt (there is a mask policy posted on the entrance doors which the restaurant's host clearly ignored/ failed to enforce). By the time we get home and realize we don't want to turn around and come back. 1/4/17 Incident with Manager John Rooney At 12midnight he came to our table and asked if our drinks were alcoholic. We replied yes and he then proceeded to tell us that we have 5 seconds to finish our drinks because he's taking away our drinks since there is no alcohol after 12. On our table we had 3 alcoholic beverages all full because we wanted to wait for our food which only came out minutes ago. We did not get any warning that we would have to finish our drinks before 12. Instead of calmly taking our drinks he proceeded to sternly count down from 5. We are not children. How rude of a manager start counting down. We were not being angry or rowdy. It's just a matter of respect. We did not deserve to be treated in such a way as if we did something wrong. He then proceeded to go to other tables to collect other alcoholic beverages. The table next to us unfortunately had a bad experience as well and had their full drinks taken away. They even spoke to us because they knew how wrong the manager treated us. This definitely ruined the night. On top of the extremely long wait and a kitchen without a lot of menu items we had to be disrespected by the manager for no reason. We will not be back. Is it possible to give less than 1 star? This was our second time TRYING to eat at this location. The first time (12/28/16)we went we were told the wait was over an hour even though we could see 5 empty tables and there was no one else waiting. This time we were promptly seated in the bar area, it took 15 minutes for our waiter to ask drink order. We placed our drink order (two ginger ales) and meal order. A different waitress brought over two cans of opened ginger ale we asked if refill were free. Of course they weren't, had we know that we would've ordered a regular drink or sent the ginger ales back but they were already opened so of course we couldn't. Our waiter didn't stop by our table to check on us as we slowly sipped our or canned ginger ales until we flagged him down 35 minutes later He said he'd be right back. He wasn't. We finally asked another waitress (hate bothering a different server) if she could check on our food. Our waiter comes by and says he'll go check. He comes back out with our obviously cold food. The sauce on my wings looked cold and the cheese on my husband's quesadilla didn't look fresh. We told our waiter and his was response, "what do you want to do?" No offer of an apology, no excuse (id heard him complain earlier he was working other table to a coworker) or even to have the food remade. We told him we'd paid for our drinks and go elsewhere. He brought our check for our two pre-opened ginger ales and we left. A manager never came over to express any apologies or any solutions. I guess this location is okay with losing customers. Disappointing because I eat at the one on Ala Moana often and always have quick and excellent service. Chicken wings are my favorite dish. I've eaten at this BWW location roughly 20 times. Through the numerous experiences, I can say I am disappointed. I'll highlight some of the main short comings, then wrap up with pros! Consistently my wings would arrive under sauces (Half of the wing still appeared "plain"). So always ask for them to be prepared "wet" if you like a full coating of sauce. Short of the management, the staff doesn't fully understand day to day operations. I called numerous times about an overcharge on bottled dipping sauces purchased, only to be told it was being dealt with. Come months later, no refund. (It was only $10, but disappointing) If you order from this location for pickup, expect they will not begin cooking the wings until you have arrived. On numerous occasions, I ordered wings 25 minutes before arrival, only to wait an additional 20-30 in the waiting area for them to be cooked. Also over the 20 orders, I'd say about 3 times my wings came tossed in the wrong sauce, my guess is because they ran out of the sauce I requested. I assume this, because the receipt on the outside of the bag had the correct flavor crossed out. One positive to this location is Lava the manager. Throughout the numerous disputes I had, he was always very helpful to finding a solution. Whether it be additional free wings, or even just an apology.
