After all these years this is still a solid choice. Food quality was excellent, service was quick and friendly and happy hour covered most drinks and apps. The space is simple and clean. Lots of parking available and convenient location. If you're in the mood for good quality pizza would definitely recommend.

Super pizza

5/5 stars for food, 3 stars for service. Okay honestly, this is probably the best pizza place on Oahu for its taste. The pizza is here is amazing. I really love the butter garlic sauce that they put on the crust. Everything about the dough and entire pizza is just perfect. It's so yummy and a large size is more than enough for 3 to 4 adults. We personally like getting the "super" pizza as it has a lot of meat and veggies. The salt and vinegar, chicken, wings or amazing as well. I love how crispy and flavorful it was on the outside yet super juicy meat on the inside. We also got a veggie salad to share amongst three adults and one toddler, and it was more than enough! The inside feels like a bar, which is fine, I wish I could more confidently get this place five stars but unfortunately service does not live up to its good food. Every time I've come here (3-4 times now), I've felt like an inconvenience to the waitresses. All of our waters were empty by the time they came around to fill it up. Note for parents: I saw another table get pizza dough for their kids to play with which was really cool... I wish our waitress had offered that to my child because she would've loved it and probably would've made me happier with the service. Oh well! Ask for it if you go I guess. Overall amazing food but bad service for how much you have to pay to eat here (I expect more and friendliness when paying $30-40 a person to eat out). ... this place would get much higher reviews if they had better service!

Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings, Specialty Veggie Pizza with Pepperoni and Half Dozen Oysters

I hadn't been to Brick Oven Pizza in ages, but I stopped by on a whim after seeing someone post oysters on IG..... and I love oysters! It did not disappoint. The clam chowder was warm, comforting, and genuinely delicious. We ordered the specialty veggie pizza and added pepperoni, and wow...the crust was flavorful. Most places I won't eat all the crust. Of course, we had to try the half‑dozen oysters, and I'm so glad they weren't tiny like at some other places. They were plump, juicy, and incredibly fresh. And OMG the chicken! One of the best wings I had in awhile. We ordered the lemon pepper flavor and I bet the other flavors are good as well since the chicken itself was cooked to perfection. Service and food quality were a solid 10/10. I also found out they have Happy Hour right after I get off work, which is dangerous because I work right across the street. You already know what that means--I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Caesar salad - flavorful dressing

Food and service was good. Ambience is very plain and somewhat worn. Pizza is fresh dough, not preformed crusts like some pizza places. Child spaghetti was good. Salad was good but just a little bit wilted. Soft drinks were very large. Service was very responsive and friendly.

Celebrated a birthday party for Zariah ( grand neices second birthday) at Brick Oven Pizza. The restaurant is roomy and clean. They have bar seating if you prefer. There was only one person in front. Service was friendly but spotty. As for the food the host ordered Ceasars salad, two kinds of bread slices. Pepperoni pizza, and spaghetti, three flavors of chicken wings. Bread slices *** Ceasars salad **** Chicken wings Salt and vinegar ***** BBQ *** Spicy *** Spaghetti with Meat Sauce **** Pepperoni pizza *** Overall it was a nice experience. Enjoy

Whether we dine in or take out this is another go to place. Staff is always friendly, they provide great service, and the food is awesome!

We have been looking for a good pizza place since we moved to Hawaii and this one is at the top of our list so far. The pizza was delicious! The bread that they used is by far one of my favorite pizza does I've ever had. However, it is a bit overpriced. I would absolutely eat this pizza more if it was slightly cheaper. If you don't get one of their specialty pizzas and you can't make adjustments to it, you're paying per topping and meat is the same as a vegetable which major seems odd. So we paid $35 for a pizza with five or six toppings if you are someone that only likes one topping on their pizza then this would be ideal for you overall we'll probably eat this maybe once a month just due to how expensive it is. We ordered the size medium for two people and we ate half and took the other half home so it was technically four servings. However, I still think three dollars per topping for both meat and vegetables was a bit much. Service was great, and they were very quick to get a drink's refills, etc..

First time trying, I went in on a Saturday early afternoon around 12 PM first impressions that it was really spacious almost reminded me of live music bar restaurant scene but they had TVs posted everywhere there was outdoor seating. My party did get seated quite quickly, which was nice, but the service took a little while to get us drinks. It didn't seem so busy when we got in as there were a few people in there that were only drinking and not eating. We dined in for about an hour and a half because the food took a while to come out, but we had a party of five, so understandable. We waited for about 20 mins to get our check and that was a bit frustrating. I wanna say they may have been understaffed. There were only two people that served us and their kitchen is open for you to see and it seem like there was not too many cooks. However, quality of the food was good. I only took a picture of what I had ordered, but my family ordered a pizza that was recommended from one of the servers, but we didn't entirely enjoy it the wasn't our particular taste, not the servers fault though. I ordered a chicken pesto pasta, which was really good, the way they prepared the chicken was interesting, it seemed like it was shredded, I honestly enjoyed it but my family wasn't fond of it. I do highly recommend the bruschetta appetizer. The prices were quite high. I would go back again to try other items on the menu, but overall pretty good place.

Signature "everything" pizza. Tons of toppings. Tons of flavor
Raynesa J.

The vibe here is exactly what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint--chill, casual, and a little nostalgic. I actually liked the ambience overall; it's got that cozy, no-frills charm. The pizza itself was cooked really well--nice crust, good flavor--but it was piled pretty heavy with toppings. So much so that everything kind of slid right off when you picked up a slice. Not a deal-breaker, but it made for a messy experience. One of the biggest downsides for me was the seating. The high-top chairs are extremely worn and uncomfortable. I actually felt the edge stabbing into the back of my thigh during the meal--definitely not ideal for relaxing and enjoying your food. Service was just okay. The staff were friendly, but very hands-off. I only got a refill toward the end of my meal, even though I could've used it as soon as the pizza arrived. All in all, not a bad spot--but not a standout either. There's potential here with a few tweaks to comfort and service.

When you're craving garlic butter clams make your way to brick oven in Kapolei. Walked in right before 7pm on a Saturday and was seated right away. Ordered our drinks and food and everything came out pretty fast. Everything we order is so yummy. Love it here! Sports playing on the televisions. You can sit at the bar if you want. Old license plates from different states on the walls.

Also, did I really want a Sonic burger? The answer was an easy no. Did a quick search and found this place which I had no idea existed but now I know they exist in an excellent way. People come here to drink, I'm not a drinker but there was plentynof alcoholic beverages on the back wall for your choice that it could be overwhelming. This is a bar with indoor seating and a World Cup game was on. I think there was outdoor seating but it looked like a different restaurant to me. We ordered dirty fries, a sweet tea, the simple smash, village smash, and sweet tea. I have to admit, I'm overly harsh on burgers but from the first bite, this hit right to me. The dirty fries were good also. We washed down that salt with their mildly sweet sweet tea. That's the only miss for me as I like deep sweet tea thanks to some time spent in Mississippi earlier in life. Their food put themselves on my radar so we will definitely be back as we didn't even scratch the other meats they had on menu.

Everyone ordered the same burger. The village smash burger…read morewith extra patty + cheese! Stack analyst: 7/10 This smash burger was solid. Crispy toasted bun, super thin patties with an awesome sear and crunchy edges. One of the few burgers lately I didn't feel needed extra salt. Could've used a little more garlic aioli, but overall it was delicious. Definitely would get it again __________________________________________________ Double stack Daddy: 9/10 Double patty done right. Crispy edges, juicy beef, perfectly melted cheese, and every bite was packed with flavor without feeling overdone. AIOLI WAS simple, fresh, and exactly what a smash burger should be. Definitely worth the stop if you're craving a legit burger. __________________________________________________ Braddah Big Buns: 7/10 Shmall kine dry, need more sauce, patty too wide for da buns. But buggah still action __________________________________________________ Grilled Apostle: 8.5/10 Order the Village Smash Burger will extra patty & cheese. Very flavorful, but not as juicy as I would like it. Bun was crisp, bacon added an extra touch to the burger making it more than average, delicious! __________________________________________________ Captain Messy Hands, Keeper of the Drip: 7/10 stepping into the smash burger arena for the very first time. Ordered the Village Smash Burger Double Angus patties, cracked pepper crust, mustard, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, American cheese, and their signature Village sauce. This thing came out looking clean, sharp, and locked in. First bite? I finally understood the smash burger hype. The patties were thin, crispy around the edges, and perfectly executed the way a smash burger should be. That cracked pepper crust gave every bite a nice little punch, and the sear on the beef carried the whole experience. No sloppy grill work here! This burger knew exactly what it wanted to be. Now let's address The drip. Or in this case... the lack of it. This burger leaned more dry than messy. Not Sahara desert dry and not dry in a bad way, just controlled. Precise. Balanced. The bun actually deserves respect here because it stayed soft, moist, and held together from first bite to last bite without collapsing under pressure. Structurally elite. But CMH lives for chaos. I like burgers that need a stack of napkins nearby. Burgers where sauce hits the wrist. Burgers that fight back. This wasn't that type of burger. And honestly? I still respect it. Final Verdict...A clean, well executed smash burger with serious crust game. Not a drippy monster, but a strong introduction to the smash burger world. __________________________________________________ The Premium Purists: 9.5/10 The Village Smash Burger is a trendy modern burger that still hits with nostalgic deluxe flavors. I was very impressed by this burger. To me it was luxury in every bite! The balance of flavors from the beef, seasoning, sauce and LTO was on point. Buns stayed solid throughout the entire experience. It's a smash so the patties were a little drier but to me the flavors made up for the lack of juice.

I made reservations for 5:45 PM however when I checked in at Pint and Jigger, I was notified that the reservations were for P&J and not the speakeasy which opens at 6 PM. Therefore I believe that there are still kinks to be made with their reservation system. We waited at the bar until it was sorted out. You walk through a whiskey wall and walk upstairs to the speakeasy. They used a lot of the decor from the former location known as Harry's Emporium. We were the only ones for about an hour so we were able to maximize the bartender's time. Max is an excellent bartender and informed us that they are only open on the weekends for now. He's the only bartender and they are still working out staffing issues. No food at the moment. The theme is New Orleans/French. The drinks and music all have that vibe. The room is dim but not too dark. We left around 7:30 PM when two other couples showed up. We will definitely be returning.
