I have no idea why I keep returning. Worst customer service on the entire island. I love Buffalo Wild Wings in general, but this place has had terrible customer service the last three times my family and friends have been there. Servers acting rude or annoyed, not refilling drinks, orders messed up or delayed with no explanation. The food is ok for bar food and wings but there are so many other places to go on island that I will never return to this specific Buffalo Wild Wings and I will not only not recommend it, I will go out of my way to discourage people from going to this place. Came here for the first time with my coworkers and I wasn't too impressed. I don't know if it was bad timing, but Thursday was a crap day. We missed out on deals because it wasn't a sports day, then the happy hour didn't have too many good eats for a good deal. We ordered a bunch of wings, a sampler, nachos, and other individual items. The waitress was super nice and friendly, but I'm not sure if it was the food taking long or her, but our food took a while to come out. We ordered this wing platter and my friend asked for sauce. We waited so long that we had already smashed our entire dish, then she comes to retrieve the tray and then gives us the sauce almost 15 minutes later lol. It wasn't even that busy. Service took forever. It took at least 10 minutes for the waiter to ask for our drinks. When we ordered it took another 40 minutes to get half our food. They forgot our bacon bits, gave half our order in to go boxes, and forgot the other half of our order. Happened 1/7/2024 approx. 11:30 am HST We went into this establishment to watch Sunday football. We checked in with hostess and said it will be a 15-20 minute wait. After the allotted time has past, the hostess walked us to the corner area (not the bar area) the table where we were gonna be seated seats 6 there were just the 2 of us. We asked to be seated at high top table that was open which seats 2 in the area. The hostess explained to us that it will be 5 minute to wait to clean the table. 5 minutes go by and the hostess started to clean the table. While waiting we noticed that the hostess was done, she came back to the check in area and has not acknowledged us yet. Soon after a server came by to talk to the hostess. I don't know what was said, but the server came over to us and said there would be another 30 minute wait and if we want to wait outside for them to call us for a table inside. We declined and wondered why the party of 2 before us were seated right away, and then when it came for us we have to wait because we wanted to sit on the table for 2. There was a customer who heard our interaction and said its okay he can wait. So we thanked him and took the table. We were wondering why wasn't he seated right away. Had dinner here on December 15. Seated immediately and drinks, order and food revived in a timely matter, however what brought my experience to a 1 star was the service 15 mins passed haven't been checked up on by our waitress. 40+ mins total haven't been addressed or checked up on Two hours before closing. Fully staffed and was only 2 other tables of 2-3 people. Waters completely empty and multiple employees passed and I made eye contact with no response. Wasn't until I stopped an employee asking for our server. Followed with the hospitality manager ( lavarious) was our Bill and some actual customers service. He explained that she was in the "bathroom" (after leaving to my car I saw our waitress outside far from the restaurant) Reason I'm giving 3 star is due to lavarious. I've been here a lot recently, Had a really nice waiter and great service with great food! 10/10 for me

I took my niece here for dinner. I thought it would be fun for her to experience and it is one of the few places that I can eat just about anything on the menu due to my multiple food allergies. We had an ok experience. The host when we came in was friendly and when I requested to sit in an area where I can ensure that my niece would stay at our table and not run around (she is 4) he sat us at this corner table where there were piles of chairs, high chairs, and booster seats. There was only one side that we could comfortably sit at. We had to wait a long time and I had to walk up to one of the servers who were just standing around and talking to ask for a kids menu and crayons for my niece as she was getting fidgety and was hungry. We had to wait a few more minutes before that same server came up and said that she will take care of us and it was supposed to be someone else. As a former server I found my experience at that point not very good. I cracked a joke about being a former server and that I understood that it sucks getting tables with children. Mind you all around me there were tables with children who came in after us and got prompt service. We were able to put in our order and still waited a long time and got our appetizer and main course at the same time. The food was good. For our appetizer we had gotten fried pickles. I had gotten a bacon cheese burger med rare (though it was well done) and I had asked if it was possible to sub mac and cheese side instead of the french fries. I ended up paying for two kids meals and they were really hot and looked as if they sat in the window. Did I mention that I paid for two kids meals and the burger came out with out fries. It would have been better if she had communicated with me that was not a substitution possibility and I would have gotten one or the other. Since my niece's food was really hot it took her a little longer to eat because well, she is 4. The server immediately dropped our check after taking my dishes and didn't ask if we wanted dessert. I had to ask if it was OK to have scoop of ice cream for dessert since that is was what my niece wanted. I didn't mention this to the workers nor earlier in this post, but I had taken her out to celebrate her birthday and I just wanted her to have a great experience. Last night, my wife and I had a date night here, although we haven't had one in a while. We chose this location because the wait time was significantly shorter than their location in Pearl City. We had a coupon we received in the mail that we had planned on using. Initially, our waitress didn't believe the coupon applied to the sampler platter, she quickly asked her manager and he didn't even argue with us. He approved it and made sure we were taken care of. My wife and I were impressed with this. (Mind you, we were being honest about the coupons wording). I was even expecting some attitude or cold-shoulder, but we got kindness and respect. This place is always a hit or miss. It really depends on who's working that night or who the cook is. Last time I came to the Ewa Beach location, customer service was bad. After my friends and I got seated, we waited at least 10 minutes till we had to let another worker know we didn't get our waters, or get to order. The waitress then told us that we're not her table, and that she'll try to find our waiter. I also avoided this place since I heard a few people complain about their experience. I went in a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend, and it wasn't that bad. We got seated quickly since it wasn't busy, and we had a good waiter. I don't remember his name, but he was really on it. In all fairness, I am not really a fan of any BWW's food. I usually just patronize a location if I want to watch a sports game on a bigger screen. This location? It's about the size of my bathroom. You can barely move around when it's empty let alone when it's packed with fans. The location is prime - Laulani Shopping Center in Ewa, in the middle of the building on the first floor. They have outdoor seating. Even though it's in a shopping center anchored by Safeway, parking can actually be a pain. You may end up parking across the way at Ross or something and walking over. Anyway, back to the inside. Small room to the left when you walk in, bar area straight in front of you, and small dining area to the right of the bar. The layout is awkward. I come here a lot, unfortunately, and am never impressed. If I have enough time, I'll actually drive to Pearl City to go to the Pearl Highlands BWW. The service is hit or miss. The bartenders could care less. On my most recent visit, it was during CFB Championship game so it was packed. But my server was actually pretty attentive. I was barely able to find an empty seat but I did - all the way in the back against the window. I ordered off their Happy Hour menu (from 2pm-6pm) the mini corn dogs. I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad (pictured). It was brought out fairly fast considering - but it was missing my favorite part of the salad: the croutons. But because of how busy the place was, I knew it would take awhile to flag down my server and have her correct the order so I just went without. The TVs also went out right after a pivotal play. Not good. It wasn't a flicker in the electricity, just the cable/satellite. ALL TVs went blank, even the ones that weren't showing the game. Some good points: definitely become a member of BWW Blazin' Rewards. There's an app. You earn points for checking in and every time you dine there. You can redeem your points for free food! BWW has typically impressed with their service and the quality of food throughout the years that I've been a patron. This location was lacking a bit on the service aspect, and being located in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, you would hope that the service would be paramount ...... NOPE. Unfortunately, found it to be mostly mediocre at best: slow service, server distracted and not very attentive, and incorrect order. The saving grace was that the food was great (as usual) and the manager greeted us and even changed the television to the game that my buddy was requesting. Parking can be a huge pain in the a**, but living in Hawaii we should be used to this situation. Still stinks though. Placed an online order at 7PM for 2 kids meals (Traditional buffalo wings with potato wedges & traditional honey BBQ wings with fries) and 1 side (small potato wedges. (My husband and I weren't too hungry, but just wanted something small to eat. Got a notification that it would be ready for pick up by 7:30PM. We get to the location at 7:28PM and when we got there it wasn't ready. Even though the notification showed it was ready for pick up, we were advised it wasn't ready. A little over 10 minutes later, our order was given to us. When I tasted the potato wedges, it was not freshly cooked. Instead it was cold. Once we got home, our order was messed up. The sides were with the wrong type of chicken. No big deal but what disappointed me more was the fact that our chicken was old, as if it has been sitting around for a while. FAILED TO GIVE ME: - sauces for my 15 chicken wings - carrots & celery w ranch So I called them to inform them of their error - they apologized for the forgotten items and said that I could receive a compensation of a 10 traditional wing order. Cool. Great. Of course I had to make the trek back to pick up the NECESSARY parts of my order. That's like a total of 11 miles - 2 trips for my damn order! *face palm* When I got there, I was welcomed. Told them what I was there for. The worker sweetly gave me my forgotten items...but that's it. So I had to inquire about the supposed compensation that I was told about on the phone. After talking with the Specialty (?) Manager, on the 3rd time back, they both came to me and said that my name will be inputted into their files and that I could come back whenever it's convenient to claim my compensation. I don't have any physical proof of their statement because they didn't give me any - but they took down my name & number and said that when I want to claim it then I just have to give my name and the name of the manager, L*. It would've been much easier to just give me the compensation on a gift card - but they didn't. So the next time I order, let's see if they actually hold up on their end! And this time, I guess it'll be MY responsibility to make sure ALL my items are in the bag...even though they have an "inspected/checked by" sticker on it. read more

Upon arrival, the hostess was not at the front and when she came back, she just told us to grab any seat. Most of the tables were not cleared. We were able to grab one table that was clean but no one came to our table for 10min. Funny thing was there was a staff sitting right next to us calculating recipts and did not even tell anyone to serve us. My husband went back to the entrance and told the hostess we have not served by anyone yet. She told us someone will be at our table. Of course no one came. I wish this was a good review but it's not going to be. I usually wouldn't leave a review if food was not great or service was not ok but this one I took it very personal. Sunday night me and my daughter decided we'll have wings and order BWW for take out and we ordered thru their app on my daughter's phone. She clicked on the 6 wings combo that comes with the fries for $13.99 plus onion rings on the side for $5.99. We paid it on the app didn't think about taking a picture of the order that we did. My daughter went in and they gave her the 6 wings with fried and no onion rings. So I went down thinking they just forgot about it and the guy Dylan said that we didn't order and we didn't pay for the onion rings so I nicely explained it to him but he gave me an attitude. The argument went because I knew what we ordered from the app. Then I asked him to add what we ordered and check how much we paid and it should match it not the ones he gave us. He did that and I was right. He then goes let me get the onion rings and next time we can't be giving free food and he said it with an attitude. And I said we paid for it and it's not free. The waitress was nice and friendly but did not fill my water unless I asked her. Food took 20 minutes after ordering and it was only appetizers that my party of 3 ordered. Bathroom: There are clean bathrooms inside. Waiting Area: There are benches inside and outside while you wait for a table. This particular location is adequate when you don't go during peak hours. BWW should've picked a larger location for this part of Oahu. PROS: It's BWW so the product is always on point. I thoroughly enjoy the boneless wings with Cajun rub fries. And of course the beer selection is always great. Bathrooms could be either a Pro or Con. Sometimes there very dirty and sometimes the opposite. I guess it just depends on which manager and crew is on duty. The happy selection is also generous. The seating layout for TV viewing is well done. Staff is ALWAYS awesome at this location. CONS: This location is too small for this densely populated are that is dominated by residential neighborhoods. Hopefully BWW realizes this and upgrades sooner rather than later. This in turn causes VERY long waits during dinner hours or special event hours. Parking can also be a challenge at peak times. My family and I have been to this one over 50 times and have only had 1 bad instance when the fryers weren't running properly and it was taking 30 minutes for some wings. Additionally, the size of the traditional wings used to be MUCH larger and now they are very small. Not to mention the BWW chain just reduced the amount of wings you get with the snack, small, medium, and large size orders but they kept the prices the same. read more

It's a chain restaurant, what are really your expectations when you walk into one? Honestly these days I'm more surprised when I get awesome service, food and experience. Bww has always been consistent for me, now I'm not sure if it's in the best ways. My food always comes out fresh, but the wait is always lonnng for such a simple order. You walk in and you don't really get greeted. There are two sides to this bww, the bar side and dining room side. When you walk into the bar side you can seat yourself anywhere. This always makes me feel like people aren't going to notice us. How do they know if we just sat down or if we had already been sitting there. It always takes a while to get a server to notice us. We really only come here for wings when i want the blazin sauce. It's one of my favorites because I hate when someone advertises "extreme hot" and it's not even spicy. But the blazin sauce gets me there and I thoroughly enjoy It. I also love the spicy garlic, garlic parm and the salt & vinegar. My husbands current favorite is the asian zing. I noticed that the breading on the boneless wings can get salty with whatever added sauce you choose. Sometimes there are some thickkk pieces of breading and little to no meat inside. The bone in wings are on the smaller side too. Not as meaty, sometimes dry from being overfried. Anyways I guess what I'm saying is, Ima still eat here even though I don't get the best quality or the best service because it's just consistent enough to where I can look past It. Been to the Waikiki location where service was really bad and food was just ok. No reason to ever go back there so my expectations were not high when my buddies and I went to this location after golf. Parking was pretty crowded for a Fri around 1:30 when we arrived so not able to park too close to the entrance. It's in a busy mall so I guess it makes sense. Restaurant looked nice and clean and the a/c was working fine so we were comfortable. Unfortunately, as it was only 1:45, happy hour didn't start yet, so no specials and no exceptions. Buddies ordered burgers and wings and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich after which someone else came to the table to inform us they were out of their signature chicken sandwich. So I asked the guy for a menu, I thought obviously to see what else I want to order, and he hands me a drink menu. Sadly I had to ask him for the correct menu. Took a little bit to get our server to come back for me to place my order. I ended up ordering a fried chicken salad. First, we did go on a super busy day... The hostess, he made me proud!! Handled the crowd with professional! However after 40 minutes we got seated, sat there for 15 minutes in the sun (only patio seating was available) and no waitress. Once we called her over, and she was made clear by someone (she went to check if she had our table) that she would be our waitress it was fine.
