It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. Along with a variety of DME and LME... if you're doing whole grain brewing or just need / want specialty grain for your recipe - chances are that he will have it. The only thing I've gone looking for that he didn't have available was smoked grains ( UK Peated ). The only "complaint" I have is a bit of a lack of variety for yeast strains that the store has in stock. If you're looking for something suitable for a pale ale, IPA or something along those lines - he'll have you covered. If you're looking for an abbey ale or even a lager strain then it can be hit or miss. So that's my "complaint" and there is a reason that word is in quotes. The thing is that he does a monthly order for his store and if you have a yeast strain you want that he isn't currently carrying - you can order and he'll get it for you. Its not just yeast either... if you want to order some 55 lb bags of grain then he is more than happy to take care of that too... or pretty much anything else his distributor(s) carry. The other nice thing about the shop is that the owner is a very experienced home brewer himself and as mentioned by the other reviewer, a nice guy. That means if you're new to home brewing, he is more than happy to help and he will not try to oversell you. The only downside is that if you're an experienced home brewer and start talking recipes or technique - that 5 minute trip to pick up a few ingredients can easily turn into an hour long venture. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.

Everything was seasoned properly, and most importantly, they had Heinz ketchup. The service was excellent, and I wish I was better with names as I would thank them. The music was a little loud for my liking, but it was good music that listen to, however it's a sports bar and grill and it was a Friday night, if I wanted something with a cozier ambiance I should have went there instead. So, I won't let my personal volume preferences determine what a sports bar and grill should do. Despite the volume, I could still hear myself think and have a conversation on the phone with no problem. I myself am just sensitive to noise. So where do I rank the meal, I would give it a 4.2 of 5. Considering that I am an excellent home cook and rarely find a place where they serve something I couldn't prepare better myself, this is an excellent score. Also considering I've been on this quest for 6 or seven years now, this is one of the highest ratings I've given.
