Bar comments: About a year and a half ago I wrote a review ripping the BWW in Hudson Wisconsin pretty bad. Despite my poor review, I have been frequenting this particular BWW's because of the UFC fights every month. Well I have to say in the last 1 1/2 years I'm seeing positive changes. Understand, I only sit at the bar and eat, so I can't comment on the rest of the service in this establishment, but I'm liking what I'm seeing. Yes I'm still pissed at them reducing the number of wings from 6 to 5, but the wings are getting bigger since my last review. The wings are also more consistently cooked and seasoned then they were in the past. The extended happy hour beer specials is also appreciated. Anyway, I now visit BWW's on Tuesdays during happy hour and the .60 wings special. There is never a shortage of staff and in my experience they have always been very pleasant. I therefore decided to up my review from a one star to a four star. NOTE: I think this BWW deserves a four star rating on "Tuesdays during happy hour" and maybe a three star rating the rest of the week. We stopped last Friday for a quick meal. The cheese curds were Luke warm, our meal took over 25 min ( for which our nice server did apologize for), our meal then was also Luke warm, the shrimp wasn't seasoned, the cheese on my sons burger was not melted and my sandwich was just ok. Love the atmosphere and our server was attentive but I won't be running back anytime soon. Too many other good choices In hudson. read more

Jordan the bartender had a pretty busy dinner and Packer rush. There was a guy at the bar that was extremely difficult to deal with and made other patrons uncomfortable. Well first, I do like this place but lately they have slipped considerably. I go both with friends and family. Friends: Pretty good service in the bar area but some - not all - of the waitresses can be a little snotty. The beer specials are also not that special. Family: Another story altogether. The Service is horrible with a capital CRAP. It took forever to even get water. Then we get our water and before I can ask for straws for my kids, the waitress splits. So I went up to the front to get them. My daughter always orders chocolate milk...gone. They don't serve it anymore. When my daughter got sad about that, the waitress, Kimberly (who is quite possibly the worst waitress in the history of waitresses), said "yeah we got rid of that a looooong time ago" but said it in a way to my daughter that she should know this. My daughter is 5. So I had to point that out to Kimmy. I mean, you can't say something like, "I'm really sorry Honey. Is there something else you would like?" Anything?! Nope. There was a girl walking around with samples of a new sauce. Looked at our table and kept walking. I asked Kim if I could try it to maybe order it on my wings. I finally said "skip" because it was taking so long. Even BBQ sauce for my daughter's food never came. I ordered wings and there was barely any sauce on it. Each and everything went wrong. From the crummy tasting food to the service. The only reason we stayed to eat and didn't leave was because my children specifically asked to go here as a special treat for beginning a new school year. There is more stuff that went wrong and I'm not remembering it all. I'm more flabbergasted service could be this bad I guess. Service was excellent and the beer was cold, but that's where it ends. The burger and bun was dry and the fries were cold and stale. My son said his burger was one of the worst he's ever had. read more

I've always enjoyed the wings and watching sporting events there. Have no complaints about the service.

i don't know how you can mess up bdubs. my boyfriend and i called ahead an order for pick up as we were passing through hudson to minneapolis. we got there, and as a man brought our food over to the register, we realized the girl behind the counter was sitting down, on the floor, hiding behind the register on her phone. we've both worked hospitality. we get it, we're over it. she shows us the food and we mention that it's incorrect. we ordered a small order of wings with honey bbq and 6 tenders with sides of sauce. instead we have a large order split into asian zing and honey bbq. she stares at us and doesn't say anything. i finally break the silence and say, you know what, it's fine, asian zing is my solid second choice anyway. she said, okay, and puts everything back in the bag. we sign, we go, we realize we're overcharged *because the order was wrong* but at this point, we've been hungry for a good hour and we have to get back on the road. and also, we do not want to deal with this girl anymore. not even a "sorry, don't know how that happened" or "do you want me to call in the corrected order?" or ANYTHING. my boyfriend mused about how long we might have stood there in silence before she would have said anything. god, she didn't even give us the right dipping sauces. 2 stars, because the food was damn tasty, as per usual. read more

Hostess said 15 minute wait for a 2-top. Ended up waiting 45 minutes, with walk-ins with 4 plus people being immediately seated ahead of us. That's some bullshit. They do not take reservations, so there's no excuse. read more

I love BWW always have but everytime i leave the Hudson location i seem to be asking myself why. The staff is all nice to deal with but someone in middle or upper management needs to step it up. disorganized is a good word to discribe this place and the food is no better then any other chain(McDonalds for instance) Dominos wings are as good which is a little scary since they make PIZZAS read more

Their pop is horrible out of their new machine!!! Also Please pay attention to the prices. My husband and I typically go there once a month, and every month their menu has changed as far as their prices. One time we went there they had the calorie counts on there along with higher prices, next time we went they no longer had calorie counts on there, just higher prices than the past month. BWW is normally one of my favorite establishments for some good wings and a cold beer, at least until I visited this one! We stopped in and were seated right away, the place was busy so after a few minutes I decided to get our drinks from the bar. No big deal I could see our waitress was busy I was just thirsty! I attempted to order from the bartender Celena who by the way was leaning against a cooler doing nothing and as I was ordering she told me I would have to order from my waitress. I responded by saying I had seen a waitress yet hence the reason I am ordering here. With a smug look on her face she said "well she's a little busy and I can't help you". Sorry I thought when a restaurant like BWW built the bar it was so customers could order drinks from it. Maybe the worst part is when I spoke with the manager, Emma she was less helpful than her bartender. The service sucks and we will NEVER be back to this one! This place is awful. I have been there several times, and it is a disappointment at best. Unfortunately, my kids like to go there and occasionally we give in and try it again. Tonight was such an occasion, and once again it was such an annoying experience. I believe this place is even wearing thin on our kids. Tonight was bad from start to finish, but I will just give a brief synopsis. Here are the main lowlights: we got our appetizer several minutes before we got our drinks (which is poor service with a table full of kids), it took 40 minutes after ordering for our food to be served (the entire order consisted of a salad, 2 baskets of fries, and 2 orders of boneless wings), the server never cleared away one dish or empty cup from our table (and she also left the 6 menus sitting on the table for the duration of our visit), and they ran out of ranch dressing. Speaking of running out of items, we were there last summer for my daughter's birthday (her choice), and they were out of BONELESS WINGS. What?!?!!? I believe this is your signature item. At that same visit they were also out of shredded cheese, mozzarella sticks, lettuce and chips and salsa. The last time we were there prior to tonight, they were out of cheese again. Seriously, who manages this place? It is just frustrating to get such a consistently poor experience. I was a server for several years in college, and it is not that difficult. TRY just a little bit to make the experience pleasing for you customers. There's no excuse for running out of wings. Tonight as we were leaving, there were four servers/hostesses standing at the host station, chatting. Not one of them smiled, thanked or acknowledged us in any way. I mean, come on.
