I can't even describe how horrendous this Buffalo wild wings was. I've been to many many and this is by far the worst. Firstly sat down waited maybe 15mins w/multiple servers walking by w/o acknowledging our existence. No "hey I will be right with you" etc. There was a table (2 of them actually) with old food sitting on them needing to be bussed that employees were just walking past. If this is what the restaurant looks like I can't even imagine the kitchen. Those employees should be embarrassed and if I owned that place the manager would absolutely be fired. Absolutely disgusted with the bartender. We came in and sat in the bar section (9:45pm, they closed at 11) ordered two drinks and food. The bartender was mad about our drink order because she wanted to clean. We finally got our drinks and the one mixed one was awful!! Food came out hot and fairly quickly!! I come here nearly every Sunday, especially during NFL and College football season. I almost exclusively sit at the bar or in the bar section. Heather is the best bartender and is very accommodating and lovely to be around. The wings are always hot and fresh. Usually good draft beer specials during NFL Sunday. Coming back from Presque Isle along Lake Superior on a sunny Sunday in August, it was getting late. We were running on Central time in an Eastern time zone. The parking lot looks like it was carved out from the side of a mountain. A high cliff overlooks it. I was almost expecting a "falling rocks" sign in the parking lot. Inside, it's like a sports bar & restaurant. Spacious, loud and definitely busy. Multiple TV's all over the room aired various baseball and NFL pre-season games taking place around. When up north, do as the northerners do. We picked a table near a Packers game in progress. Despite the busy night, service was fast. My kids each got mac and cheese. We also got a basket of fries and I had a big burger. I can say both my kids probably ate some of the largest meals ever that night. Everything was excellent, in short. I have nothing against a good chain place like this, coming into a town and providing a longer hours restaurant than most of the places in town. And my kids loved a mural on the wall depicting a chicken strapped to a seat belt in a car. They insisted I take a picture of it, hence my review photo is included. read more

This evening, I tried placing an order online--however the website gave me an error message stating that something went wrong and said I had to call to the store to place my order. No. Just. No. Yes, we knew when we walked in that we were going to be getting frozen chicken in sauce and over-priced beer, but, we were in a time crunch, so we bit the bullet. So. Dumb. Quick ordering of drinks and an appetizer. Soda arrives for our Daughter. Water? No. Beer? Where is it? Ten minutes later, the beer arrives, followed soon-after by our appetizer. Place the dinner order (Large wings and 1 kids meal). Wait. Wait. FIRE ALARM! Flashing lights and blaring siren. Oh, triggered accidentally, right? What's going on? Do we evacuate? Nobody seems upset/concerned. Waiter appears after a few minutes to tell us that the alarm cannot be shut off until the Fire Department shows up to turn it off. The alarm BLARES for more than five minutes and then stops. Flashing lights CONTINUE for 45 minutes while we wait for our food to show up so that we can get the heck out of there. Do we get compensated for staying to pay the damn bill or for the aspirin that we had to buy because of the alarm sounding for close to an hour? Why weren't the authorities showing up to stop the alarm? Why wasn't the Manager doing SOMETHING? We should have walked out. A MANAGER should have approached every table and explained what was going on. No. He hid in the back. Food was mediocre - we didn't expect anything more than that. This place is so poorly run. So it can be fun while there but what always strikes me is when I leave and consider the bill for what I got. I mean come on its WINGS. Was there on a Tues and dropped over $40 for one beer, pop, fries and wings. And that was Wings Tues with their specials. Add to that, though the staff was nice and friendly, I had to request "plates" you know the cardboard basket, Their example of a BASKET of fries is a joke, you get more by ordering a large fries from McDs. Had to ask for additional napkins, (she brought 3 more) wet wipes and forgot the dipping sauces. (and no they were NOT busy) Then at the end asked "do I need to bring back change" REALLY?!!! The one thing that is consistent with buffalo wild wings is terrible service. When you order, don't expect to see your waitress or waiter for another 20-30 minutes. Your water could be empty or you could want to put in another order but they are nowhere to be found. The food is fine but don't be surprised if your order is screwed up.
