I ordered some wings and chicken tenders yesterday on line, (which appears to be these technical genius's issues), yesterday evening. (Friday 4/7/23). The order was $46.77. I was told after completing my order that I could pick up at 6:30 at the Mechanicsville restaurant. When I arrived o e person told me he had my order. Another person comes up and says they do not have my order. The, "manager", (according to this guy there were 3) then asks me what I wanted. I stated that I was there to pick up my food, which I had already paid for through the app. This epic genius tells me that while I am in the system there was no order. I asked how I could be there without an order and of course this clown couldn't answer. I said I just want my food and to go. He told me, "they", just don't give out food, and that if I want my order I would have to pay for it again. I asked if he could see why that would be an issue, and he said that was the way it was. This guy offered no solutions other than me paying again and I left. When I returned home I was sent a confirmation for my order and the receipt, AGAIN, FROM THIS LOCATION! While I won't be there again, I would encourage you to watch your credits card receipts. This location is engaging in dishonest business practices. I called to place an order for pickup and the order taker didn't know how to ring in the order that I get every week. When I got to the location, I thought the price was a little high, because I order this item every week and the cashier's response was "it's the price that's on the screen." Not wanting to argue, I paid what was requested and left but reviewed my receipts from earlier visits to confirm that I was indeed over-charged. I contacted the restaurant immediately regarding the discrepancy in cost and was told a refund would be issued to my card. This never happened. I was never contacted with an update, because my contact information was "misplaced." The location promised to return the money I was overcharged by their staff ringing the order in incorrectly and they are now refusing to honor their word. This location has just lost a customer who was spending $15 a week in this location over $5 and pride. I'll never come back to this location due to the incompetence of the staff and their refusal to make good on their assurance, coupled with their lack of communication regarding reneging on the agreement we had previously reached. Unprofessional and not worth the time, money, or headache. Well, okay. I stopped into BWW yesterday without premeditation, a side-effect of not smoothly segueing gracefully into EST. So I had an hour to kill, and sat at the bar to peruse the menu. I'm highly unimpressed when a bistro tries to be creative with the mechanical aspects of the menu. In this case, it was constructed something like a top-hinged steno pad.I keep waiting for the next trendy place to use stone tablets. But I settled on the All American Cheeseburger. And Onion Rings on the side. Water to drink, of course. If a sports bar could be rated by the number of active screens, BWW would win the Gold every time. I counted 19 screens, without turning 180° in my seat. That made the noise level higher than I like, but not deafening. A few minutes later, my CB & OR come out. That thing is huge. No way I could fit it into my mouth. I ask my server, Amber for a steak knife. No. She said they are not allowed to take them out of the kitchen. Grrr. I managed to cut up my CB like wedges out of a layer cake. But using the table knife, it cannot be done without inflicting considerable damage. Okay. The CB is pretty good, but not outrageously so. ORs are quite good, paired with either Salt or the Southwestern Ranch provided in a small cup. After boxing up my leftovers, I'm contemplating dessert. Of the three (only 3?!!) dessert items, the Chocolate Fudge Cake sounds like the best. It is described as "Chocolate Fudge Cake / Chocolate Sauce / Vanilla Ice Cream." There is also a Mini Chocolate Fudge Cake, no additional description. I'll take that. A few minutes later I am given a small cup and a wholly inappropriate spoon for the dish. I took my leftovers home, and enjoyed them later last evening. I would like BWW to make 4 improvements. Some could be done locally; some will be up to the suits in Sandy Springs, GA: 1. Make the menu easy to use and flip pages. 2. Have steak knives for diners who request them. 3. Offer more than 3 dessert items. And if you offer a mini-something, make it a true mini-something without omitting critical ingredients like Ice Cream. 4. Serve that dessert with a plain metal teaspoon. It might as well be nothing there. There soft tacos were cold and their nahcos were "meh". Their wings of course are always delicious, no complaints there. If we would revisit.
