9oz. Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs
    Jessica D.

The food was good and longhorn gives you a lot of bang for your buck. The ribs are delicious and so is the Parmesan crusted chicken. It was a lot more than I could eat in one sitting but my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ordered to go and unfortunately the curbside service just never happened. After sitting in my car for about 15 mins after parking in a numbered spot, I ended up going inside and could tell they're understaffed. I had to pick up my food at the bar area. Took it out to my car and ended up having to go back in because a side was missing. It didn't ruin longhorn for me, but if you plan to pick up curbside, maybe be prepared for a longer wait and just plan to go inside anyways. Unless this was just an off night.

Ordered medium rare and received well done :( also the wait time for pickup was horrible

    Baked potato

I've been going to this Longhorn for years and I've never had an issue with them before, but tonight I unfortunately was served what appears to be a rotten baked potato. I cut into my baked potato and saw this sticky black blob in the middle and immediately called the manager over. He was very polite and took my plate back and brought me out a fresh baked potato which was perfectly fine, but it's still unacceptable that this wasn't caught before it was served to a customer. The rest of my food--lobster tail, filet mignon, and Brussels sprouts--were perfectly fine. I hate to have to leave a bad review, but this is truly awful.

    Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich
    Donna O.

My chicken sandwich was a little dry, I'm not sure there was any ranch dressing like the menu said, but the shrimp chowder was delicious. I didn't expect potato to be in the chowder, but it worked well. Mom enjoyed her steak salad and loaded potato soup too. Our server was on it, keeping an eye out while she was visible, and the general vibe was calm for an enjoyable lunch.

Ask for Sydney!!!!!! I had a wonderful experience because of this great person! She was thoughtful, proactive, and just all around amazing! Our food was really good and we plan on returning. It was late Wednesday night so the place was quiet and we enjoyed our impromptu date night/pregnancy craving.

He had the fried chicken with hot honey, garlic mashed potatoes, and more collard greens. That fried chicken was so crispy and delicious. Had the peach cobbler bread pudding for dessert, and it was an EXPERIENCE. They have a very limited menu at lunch so you have a few appetizers to choose from, a few salads and sandwiches and burgers, so straight up American food. It does skew southern with crab cake sandwich, pimento cheese and fried chicken. For an appetizer we decided to try the wings. They were good and came with ranch drizzled over the wings. For entrees my husband got their farm & oak burger with Cole slaw and I got their wedge salad with fried chicken. Both were good. The salad was nice and cold and crisp, which was appreciated on such a hot day. It did have too much dressing so next time I might ask for less dressing or have it on the side. I enjoyed the food, service was good and it is a pretty restaurant. I'll probably come back for supper some time to try some of their more in-depth meals.

I would go back just for that, but there were more good things on the menu to try as well. All the staff were friendly, and our server did an excellent job. It was also clean, pleasant and busy but not uncomfortably so. We'll definitely be back when we're in town again.

A party of two ate well and was satisfied with the amount and quality of our meals. The first meal was steak and eggs. Without prompting I heard how well seasoned the flatiron steak was. The other meal was calf's liver with mushrooms and onions. Two large pieces of bacon was across the dish. It was very good served with a full orders of corn, potatoes and gravy, and veggies. I switched the mixed vegetables for spinach and garlic. Good choice. The spinach was fresh and sauteed with onions. Didn't care for the gravy on potatoes. Can't tell whether the off flavor was the gravy or the potatoes. My surprise was the appetizer. I chose turkey chilli that was so good. It was full body flavor with cooked beans and chopped veggies, which didn't take away from the chilli flavor. It was very good. I could have this for my main meal. So good. The server was adequate, but nothing exceptional.

The place was clean and everything is well presented. The menu contains so many choices, from french-pressed coffees, to lattes, fresh juices, pancakes, waffles and sandwiches. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy, she greeted us with a warm smile and great attitude. She took the time to explain the menu and offer suggestions. We started with the french pressed coffee and drinks and hot cinnamon rolls. For breakfast we ordered the vegan pancakes and sub eggs, pavo cubano and berry chocolate pancakes with eggs. The entire time Dasia kept checking on us and keeping us informed on the status of our order. Once the meals came, she made sure we were satisfied with our food. I might try again since I like the atmosphere and the service- and the fact that they do French press with lots of selections. Don't waste your money on the special lobster avocado toast though - it is not worth the extra money! Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. D'Asia got us a table outside even though they hadn't been seating out there yet because of a potential for rain. We got no rain and it was a nice day to sit outside. Inside is clean, bright and has maybe a minimalist modern farmhouse vibe. Menu has a decent amount of selection without being overwhelming with some unique looking opportunities. Cons: My friend ordered the classic eggs Benedict and I got one of the lobster specials- the lobster avocado toast. Not sure how long these specials are around . I asked for the eggs over medium and the toast to be extra crispy because avocado toast is not good when it's all soggy. When I got my order it seemed like the multigrain bread did not get toasted at all- maybe it was lightly toasted at one point, but it certainly was never crispy and there were no toast marks on it. There was not a lot of flavor to the toppings so I was hoping that it would save the whole thing but it was just kind of a soggy mess and frankly the lobster was kind of fishy. Also, the eggs were not done over medium as I requested. I could've gotten over this if the meal itself was any good but it was all pretty disappointing. I think if I ever dare to order the avocado toast here at some point I will definitely ask for the toast on the side lol When I asked to substitute the greens, which comes as a side automatically but costs $3.50 if added I was told potatoes were the only option to be subbed. I wanted some more protein so asked about subbing bacon and just paying the extra .25 over what the potatoes cost as a side (4.50) but was told I'd have to pay for it is as a separate side entirely, which is $4.75. No turning point is probably not the only restaurant doing this but it's pretty frustrating and unexplainable as to why I don't get at least the $3.50 credit that the greens would be. Or how about you just take the greens off and I get $3.50 back lol. D'Asia was kind enough to offer me an alternative by getting crushed bacon on top of my avocado toast for a dollar extra which I was glad I did because it was definitely needed to help with the flavor on the toast! And D'Asia was kind enough tonight charge me the extra dollar in the end. Unfortunately, I still got served the greens anyways which I was trying to avoid since cyclaspora is a thing these days My friends classic egg Benedict was just ok. She did find a hair in it, but she couldn't swear it wasn't hers because it was a windy day. Finally, it was troubling that there was absolutely zero toilet paper in the women's bathroom. Which we did didn't realize of course, until we went to look for it. There were only two stalls and we were both out of luck.

We sat in our booth for over 15 minutes before anyone brought water. Another 5 minutes passed before our waitress came to take our order. To be clear, when we arrived, only 4 tables inside including ours were occupied. By the time we finished eating, we were the only patrons inside, with just two tables outside being served by someone else entirely. When we finished eating we waited. We waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Our waitress never came. My partner had to go up to the bar to ask for to-go boxes and our check. Not okay. Here's the thing: our waitress wasn't rude, and she got our order exactly right. The problem wasn't her. It was management. Wherever the manager was last night, I never saw them. Was it their night off? Fine, but if you know your team is short-staffed, you plan for it. And if the restaurant wasn't actually short-staffed and this is just the standard level of service, that's a different, more concerning problem. Now, the food. This deserves its own paragraph because it was genuinely good. I had the Deluxe deep-dish, and it delivered. Every bite had a satisfying crunch, the toppings tasted fresh, and the sauce wasn't sweet, which I appreciated. The crust hit that ideal balance of crispy edges and a cheese pull that was fully cooked through. My partner had the Meatziah (I think that's the name), and it was excellent. My son ordered the classic and gave it a 5 out of 5, which is a huge deal coming from a notoriously picky eater. The appetizers matched the entrees. The waffle-cut nacho potatoes were outstanding: perfectly cooked, loaded with amazing bacon, and topped with a chili sauce that built a slow heat in the back of your throat in the best way. The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly great too. The food earns 4-5 stars on its own. But the service, and more specifically the apparent absence of leadership, is dragging this down. If we come back, it'll be for takeout only. IF.
