I anticipated going to a BWW for a while and just happened to be near one after a movie with the kids. The hostess said the wait would be 25 mins while there were CLEARLY more than enough tables in my eyesight available. I was actually seated in about 7 mins and witnessed another couple leaving because of the same statement about the wait. We were seated near the entrance where other folks waiting were allowed to gather and talk, etc. seriously? We are about to eat (hopefully). One of the meals came back wrong and the waiter insisted that we were "wrong". She did no regular checks as people were eating hot wings. My son resorted to the ice in his glass because she was not available to give or offer water...or to just check in. She was short period and the food was subpar. I've been to this location twice, and while obviously it wasn't a bad time as I went more than once, I also wasn't super impressed. The menu has several good looking options, unless of course you are a vegetarian. I've tried several things from their menu, nothing I would really get again though. I enjoyed the wings I got on my first visit, and and also the plate of chili cheese potatoes I got. I don't remember what they were called, but they had the thickness of a steak fry, but were sliced into rounds like potato chips. They tasted good because it's really hard to mess up chili cheese and potatoes, but I've had better. The second time, I got a pulled pork sandwich. For some reason, I decided to try their spicy garlic sauce instead of version of BBQ sauce. Such a bad idea. While the sauce was okay, and would have been nice with wings or chicken, it was so bad with the pulled pork. The pork itself was not super moist, but the sauce was so spicy I had a hard time enjoying the sandwich. Also had to order a side of coleslaw a la carte, as pulled pork needs to have coleslaw! The side was only a dollar, but I thought it was odd that it didn't come automatically. Obviously the chain's prerogative though, not a big deal. Service was prompt, and I had most of what I needed. It's just a sports bar chain restaurant though, so I wasn't expecting to be given a ton of personality or anyone trying to exceed my expectations. Overall, I would probably go back to try something different if a friend wanted to go, but sit in the bar area and stick to beers and safe food options. We don't patronize this BWW often and the last time my wife and I were here was in 2016. The food was good then. That's more than I can say about our latest excursion on 1/20/18. First, the wait was unreasonably long, the side salad my wife ordered was small with little bit of lettuce, the side order of fries my wife ordered were smaller than my fries that came with my dinner. I'm sorry, but when you pay for a side, you expect it to be on par or greater than what's included with a meal. Secondly, the buffalo wings were dry, cold, and seemed as though they came from a frozen bag that was microwaved with sauce splashed on it. If you're looking for a chicken meal, go to Chick-fil-a, you will enjoy it more and it will cost much less. We will never go back to any BWW. read more

Had a great time. Try the new IPA breaded chicken tenders - they are awesome - sub a house salad for French fries - it was great! The salad was fresh with red peppers & freshly grated Parmesan cheese! The beer is always ice cold - if you haven't been in awhile - try it again. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings Middletown, worst dining experience EVER! I went to BDubs last night with my wife and 4 other people. We were seated promptly and the drinks and appetizers arrived as expected. Then the wait for the entrees started. We watched multiple tables around us get seated, served, and leave and we were still waiting. One of my party went to speak with the manager. Our food started to arrive 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, it was all cold. The manager then came over to say that they had looked into it and said the food prep intervals were 16 minutes and that wasn't unusual. Hmm... When we asked her why all the tables around us were getting their food before us and why our food was all cold she said she would look into it and then sent our food all back to have it remade. She did send over 2 free appetizers to make amends. Our remade food arrived 20 minutes later and all seemed to be progressing nicely. The manager came over once again to see if things were going better. We said they were, that is until one of my party pulled a 10 inch piece of hair out of their entree right in front of the manager. Check please! So 2 hours and 15 minutes later we had some drinks and appetizers and 2 attempts at dinner which in the end we couldn't eat! They didn't charge us for the appetizers and entrees and did give us 2 $20 comp cards for our next visit. But we won't be going back to DBubs anytime soon, at least not the Middletown location. PS Our waitress was trying her best but in the end couldn't overcome the repeated failures of the kitchen. read more

Any good impression of this establishment must be based on their eat-in service. When I was here before, the wings were hot and good and the beer was super cold. Looking for munchies on super bowl night, I ordered wings and Jalapeno poppers by phone for take out. They said 20 minutes--I was there in15. Paid and waited...........While the staff was congregating in groups of 3 and 4, and the take-out server(??) was busy on her cell phone under the counter. When I inquired for the second time, my order miraculously appeared from the kitchen (Staff actually has to go back there and look--probably 10 feet away). I asked specifically if this order had just finished cooking. The clerk assured me that it had just finished. I literally live 6 minutes from BWW and when I got home the order was cold, overcooked with the wrong sides. I ordered blue cheese, got Ranch. BWW seriously needs a new manager here and a staff who are willing to work if they are to survive. Maybe they don't realize how easy it is for a customer to go to Hot Wings just down the road. read more

Ate here one Sunday after a movie. Did not seem that busy for 6:30pm. My wife and I placed our order. Waitress was nice but it took the kitchen over a half an hour to get the food to our table. Only takes 15 to 20 minutes to cook the Un-meaty wings they serve at Bdubs. The salad I had ordered had way to much Cesar dressing on it. The whole order looks like they almost forgot to make it and then threw it together after realizing it the order was way over due. May never eat at this Bdubs again. read more

On the way back from NYC I stopped here to grab a meal. When I checked in on Yelp, the app said it was closed but clearly it was open. My son and I were seated right away and the place was quite busy. TV screens everywhere. I told the girl that seated us that the hours listed on Yelp were wrong and she said she would let the manager know about it. The food was average BWW as we had some boneless wings on special. The waiter made sure we had drinks when they were needed and stopped in on us to make sure things were going ok. Because its located behind the Wawa which is always my gas stop in Middletown I will probably stop in again if hunger hits us at that point in travel. read more

Wing are OK and service is poor. I placed an online order for 2 20pc (traditional large) wings for $42. I pick my order up and when i get home i realize that i only received 20 wings. I went back to demand my correct order and looked at the to-go menu to find that they offer a 50pc wing for the same price, which isnt offered on the online menu. I would think that they would suggest it since it saves money. I requested the 50pc instead. They fixed my order but the manager didnt even acknowledge that i was inconvenienced nor did he apologize. Stay clear of this place for take out. Check your order and then double check it, again & again. Had nachos and wings. Wings were fine. Nachos in box didn't have cheese & barely anything else. I must of gotten all of the chips broken in bottom of bag. When you order ultimate chilly nachos there should be chilly & other items on them. This is a stop I try to make whenever I am passing through Middletown, DE. It has a good atmosphere, Good fast food (wings are the specialty but they could be a little bigger). This is my third visit since I have been working in the area. The first visit was ok at best and has just gone downhill to terrible. Service is absolutely awful on all three visits. especially the most recent. I went in alone and sat at the bar. the bartender was making drinks and talking to others around me, she never acknowledged my presence. she got their drinks hung out and chatted with them. then asked for their orders and still never acknowledged that I was sitting there.(I was at the very center of the bar) I waited almost 10 minutes without any contact with her, before I decided to leave. After I got up to leave she noticed me leaving and made some comment to the guys she was chatting with, and they all turned to look at me. I guess this is a social club not a restaurant. That said, I visit a BWW at home in Pittsburgh and have good experiences. I would avoid this location and recommend you do as well. read more

Hands down the worst BWW. My husband placed an online order at 6pm. He waited over 50 minutes for the order. He even asked the manager what was taking so long, but the manager seemed oblivious. He didn't even apologize for the ridiculous wait. To top that off, he kept asking them about his order and they kept saying not ready. By the time our food got home, it was ice cold. They also forgot the salsa for one of the items and a kids drink. The tortilla chips were also overcooked and burnt. Everything had to be microwaved. Do not go there. What a joke. read more

He rarely came back to check on us, forgot to ask what sauce we wanted with our wings and never brought my water to the table forcing us to ask another server for the items. Really enjoyed the Homemade flour tortillas. Great tasting tacos that were made within minutes. Mary's Tacos has a great system in place that provides fast service; they have an assembly line of workers standing around a steam table of food. First time at this wild wings. Had the chicken Caesar salad. It was a small salad for price. The Caesar dressing was in a separate container; whatever sauce that was on the chicken was very spicy. Prices were good, came back weeks later got 50 wings for $ 39..00 .Tried again 3/5/14, wings were $50.00, What ? Noticed there was no sauce on them,told manager they were too expensive,he kindly gave me a break on the price. My family was not impressed,now we have left-over dry wings to eat on day 2.
