Bad customer service food was cold waited 1 hour for my food i will not be coming here again

Last night (5/7/25) around 11:00pm looking forward to eat at this place after work and decided to come here. As my coworker and I came in no one greeted us at the front, 5 min later someone helped us out and told us to sit at a table, about 10-15 minutes pass by no one has greeted us, so we got up and left. ( it was a slow Thursday night/wasent to busy) This hasent been the only issue with this place. Their food is always cold. Never ever get offered refills on my waters. I've been here a couple of times because it's the closest to me. Most of the staff is just standing around, not even asking if we've been helped. Especially what seems to be the managers, this one manager even had a purple eye swollen, he was this petite dude, so rude and passive aggressive, they are on an unprofessional level. The only young lady that I saw going all over the place was this staff, light skin, tattoos with braces. She approach me, even tho she was multitasking, and asked if I had been helped, she was the only person helpful. And I've gone two more times after that, and I've seen her there and she's always up and down, while other employees are just standing around looking mad or not wanting to be there. If she is not part of management, she should be. Some other lady with blonde hair, I witness her yelling at one of her employees in the most condescending way, that's not the way to talk to your employees. But shout out to the young lady in the front with the braces and tattoos, idk her name, but she was taking care of the customers and multitasking. I'll be coming in again if she's working. Also, 10 boneless lemon pepper on the side & an order of fries. The waitress then asked if we would like to order another 10 boneless wings for half the price. I suppose some kind of deal they had. We said yes that we would do 10 boneless honey bbq. She then comes back with the House Sampler that had no wings on it along with a 10 piece of 5 Bone-In Lemon pepper & 5 Bone-In Honey bbq??? Before we say anything she then realized that the Asian zing wings were wrong; as she's looking at our order receipt my husband tells her "sorry these Bone-In wings are actually supposed to be Boneless. She then says "yea those are boneless". My husband and I just look at each other in confusion and he proceeds to ask her " these are boneless?" Clearly not lol but She looks up really fast to look at the plate and says "yea" then went back to looking at the receipt. She then leaves and comes back with with the missing wings from the House sampler and that was it. She never brought back our extra 10 boneless wings we had ordered the ones she promoted to us lol. Yes, I know I'm being very generous with the 3 stars - I just like wings, and BWW got em. Buffalo Wild Wings in Montclair is my go to spot every Friday evening after working out at the LA Fitness across the parking lot. Its absolutely packed when I come to pick up my "to go" order that I always place over phone prior. I've never dined at the location, and feel stressed out just by looking at the servers and the patrons chasing each other. Don't let the dismal 1.5 star rating totally scare you away - we all know what to expect from BWW by now. Go with your expectations in check, so you're not overly disappointed. There's a 50% chance that there will be something wrong with part of your order, that you'll just have to live with, or spend more time getting corrected. That's just a fact. Understand that qty of wings included randomly seems to vary - just live with it and don't be bothered. Have patience, and be ready to wait. I would highly recommend not ever getting delivery from BWW though. Not sure why, but every single order that I have placed via Grub Hub has been pretty off - instead of all flats as requested, I'll get all drum sticks. Flavors and qty of wings are always a way bigger surprise thru delivery, versus an in person pick up order - so just beware. Their wing flavors are deliciously strong, and not many other places provide this much flavor variety. My favorite flavors are chipotle bbq dry rub, desert heat dry rub, and jammin jalapeno sauce. Haven't tried any other food items on their menu yet - maybe next Friday :) read more

Went there for an anniversary date and there weren't any tables which we were okay with waiting, but no one came to call for us to be seated so we sat by the first come first serve tables, we waited at LEAST 20 mins for a server to come by, we even asked another server for help but all she said was "oh I'm not your server" and walked away. We had ordered two blue long islands and when they brought them out they were a murky green color and tasted like they eyeballed the ingredients. She rushed us to order drinks and asked for IDs when I said I had to get it from my car and told the group to order while I grabbed my ID from my car she gave us attitude and said I should have my ID on me if I was planning on ordering drinks and walked away ignoring the whole groups order.... After a while of waiting and being ignored we talked to the manager on duty and asked in front of her what happened and she walked away ignoring me in front of the manager and proceeded to disrespect me across the bar yelling at me after walking away. I hardly get to come here, but I've always enjoyed their wings. Recently I ordered the wrap and it was surprisingly delicious. Just the right amount of heat for me and the lettuce and tomato that went along paired off wonderfully. It was far from a dry wrap -which is what I love! Who wants a dry sandwich/wrap. I'm a sauce queen! The fries were pretty good. I wish that they were more attentive, but but but I get it! my complaint is about the initial server we had at the Montclair, CA location. my husband and I arrived approx. 5:30 pm on Tuesday 2/17, we sat in the bar area, the server by the name of Ashley seem like she was also the bartender, she approached us to take our order, as she was taking our order, I reached out to my phone, wanted to show her something from the BWW app when she just walked away to the next table and left us hanging, she had only taken partial order when she walked away without excusing herself and went to the next table, VERY RUDE!!, NEVER DID SHE COME BACK, instead, she sent a guy server who took our drink order and then she sent another server (girl) unfortunately I missed her name, but she was very nice and constantly checked on us, when Ashley didn't even bother to apologize, she would pass by our table and completely ignored us the whole time we were there. . So we came for lunch around 1230 and ordered simple items. The appetizer pretzel, a small (12) boneless wings, and the BBQ chicken tacos. The restaurant was fairly slow since it was not dinner time but yet it took a long time to have our order taken, our drinks (water) delivered, and let alone never received a refill. It was as if the staff just did not care to provide at least adequate service. To tell you how long the wait for anything was, we arrived at 1230pm and didn't get our order until almost 1:15pm. For a non-busy time you would think the staff would want to provide quick service but it appears not. The food was good, my sister-in-law did enjoy her tacos. I will say though, the cost of the pretzel is outrageous if you compare it to a similarly sized pretzel from Disneyland. The pretzel, which is an appetizer here is almost $11. Literally this place is a joke. I've been here maybe 5 times now. Every time hoping the outcome will be different since this location is so close to where I recently moved to. It seems that Buffalo Wild Wings is going out of its way to alienate it's long time customers. I've been a regular at BWW in the various states I've lived for over 20 years. And for 20 years I've enjoyed the food, often taking work to do while I ate lunch. Sadly, those days are gone. They've had a variety of "wing Tuesday" specials over the years. Each change brought them more revenue and the customer less "special." Last year they went from BOGO free to BOGO 50%. This seemingly minor change increased the cost per order greatly when measured in dollars rather than percentages. But still, my friends and I liked the server and enjoyed the wings so we kept going. But they were hardly done. They've now instituted a "takeout service fee" to cover some unexplainable thing, because when I asked for specifics about what they are charging the fee for there was no answer forthcoming. Back in the day if you purchased a new car there was a charge marked ADP. The car dealers had to get rid of the charge when it came out that the initials stood for "Additional Dealer Profit." This review is for my visit last night for Game 2 of the World Series. Short and sweet, I had no problems with the food, the wait time or the service. They were all on point, especially when most places can't, won't or lack the ability to do patio seating. Table wiping and face mask usage by all staff was all being executed properly, although it seemed to be getting a little too crowded in the patio area. Had the opportunity to try the new lemon pepper wing sauce which was 100% tastier than the regular dry seasoning lemon pepper wings. I had a bacon burger with cheese curds and the patty was well seasoned and perfectly cooked but they mustve changed the type of curd they used because if I remember correctly the curds were a little tangier and added so much more. My son had the BBQ brisket burger and from the bite I tasted, the brisket had just the right amount of BBQ sauce to not overpower the taste of the patty or the brisket. My wife said the Buffalo chicken wrap was "just all right" and wouldn't order it again. Overall, the winner of the evening was the wings. This review would have been 4 star because of the wings but I had to take a star away simply because they were charging $10 a head to be able to stay and watch the game and because the happy hour menu doesn't exist on that little bar code menu that pops up. read more
