I had an awesome time here grabbing dinner. Kiarra was my server and she was very pleasant and attentive. Food came out hot and the chips and guacamole hit the spot. We got seated really quickly and no complaints overall. I love that there's actual servers instead of QR codes!!

I usually have great experiences here. Although Buffalo Wild Wings pricing has started to feel a bit unreasonable lately, it's still worth catching them on a Bogo boneless Wednesday (especially during happy hour!) Last night I tried out the new Maple Chipotle Sauce, along with the new Cajun sauce. Both were very good and I would certainly recommend them. If you're looking for a lot of spice though? They don't really deliver on that. I tried the Blue Long Island for $4 as well, and that's an absolute steal of a deal for sure during happy hour. Our server was very friendly, checked in often, and made sure we had all the we needed. The ambiance is very much what you would expect from a Buffalo Wild Wings if you've been, otherwise it's a lot like any other sports bar type establishment. There's a lot of TV's!

Sports bar menu with cocktails and brew pub options. Very casual with food and sports focus, service was good, food was good. It's a bit pricey but food and ambiance are exactly as expected.

We specifically visit on Thursdays for boneless Bogos, bouncing between several locations. Last night we ended up at the Plymouth location. We were greeted fairly quickly and brought our waters. Our server, a shorter female with very short orange hair, who's name was Nick (this was on the receipt so not sure if it was really her name) was friendly enough but had issues repeating back our orders which were only 2 different flavors so that concerned me a little...food was brought our super quick by a different female and we asked for silverware. To my horror, each set of utensils was caked with food and also what I would assume was soap residue? We waited patiently for Nick to circle back (or any employee) so we could ask for a different set. Nope. So my boyfriend went to the takeout counter and ask for plastic silverware. I pushed the dirty silverware to the edge of the table so Nick would see it when she stopped by but nope... by the time we got to eat my wings were barely even warm.. she also didn't ask us if we wanted any refills on our drinks at any point during our dinner. When we were done my boyfriend asked her for lids for his ranch. She said she yes they had lids and she would bring them.. Check came, no lids. I said she will bring them when she picks up the check. Nope. I said maybe when she brings the card back. Nope. We went and asked for lids at the to go counter. Yes, it was busy. Restaurants are back in full swing....but the lack of attention and common sense is dumb.....especially in an industry that works for tips....i don't really feel like going out and having to serve myself at a sit down service restaurant.

The food was good, but would have liked a larger portion of side with my burger for the price asked.. Service was slow the night we were there,, there around f 9pm,, not many customers, maybe light staffed...hopefully a one off situation. Good for what we needed.

They had a sign by the door that said, "wait to be seated". We waited for someone to greet us for over 5 min. After being seated, we were told, "I will do my best to pay attention to you guys, I was just seated some really big tables." [[[Pause]]] What!? When we had the opportunity, and ear of our waitress, we ordered food and I will say, the kitchen staff did great! The food was hot and super quick. Besides service, I am incredibly disappointed with the marketing in their menu. We were thrilled to see that Sunday was all day happy hour, which included $3 off appetizers. No fine print in sight. We ordered three (which we NEVER do). When our bill arrived, we were charged full price. When we asked about it, we were told, "oh, that's only after 3pm" (mind you, it was 2:45pm) at this time. I said, "that should be clearly stated in the menu." After no response, we decided to glance back at the menu. It's simply the principle. We went round and round with their very limited staff. They basically blamed it on a misprint in the menu. My response.... grab a marker and update your menus then! Overall, really awful experience. The service was terrible. I frequent Lucky's during the work week. Maybe I shouldn't!

The place was already busy right when they opened at 11, which is usually a good sign--and it definitely felt like a well-liked local spot. The atmosphere is very classic bar and grill with lots of seating, TVs, and a comfortable, casual feel. I ordered the chicken parmesan and French Onion Soup, and both were really good. The French Onion Soup had a rich, well-developed flavor, and the cheese on top had a slight sharp "funk" to it that actually worked really well. It added a little extra depth instead of just being heavy. The Chicken Parmesan tasted fresh and satisfying, with a good balance of sauce and breading. It had that comforting, homemade Italian-style feel rather than something overly processed. Overall, I would come back. It's not fancy, but it's a solid, reliable stop with good portions and flavors--especially if you're in the area or heading to a movie nearby.

Frankly, I'm shocked that this is my first review of Sunshine Factory because I've been here…read moreliterally dozens of times over the last 20 plus years, and that doesn't even include when they used to be in New Hope. I have always thought very highly of Sunshine Factory; it's packed every night, so do a lot of other people. (If you don't have a reservation and you come in after 4:45 pm on evening, be prepared for a wait.) The food had always been consistently excellent, and the service always had been (and is) fantastic. They must do a great job of finding and training wait staff because the are always friendly and efficient, and fill your drinks when they are even half full. Unfortunately, they have really shortened their menu offerings and I feel quality has slipped. It's true that this location seemed to be more casual than the old location, but the menu was comparable up until late in 2025, when they revamped and shortened the menu considerably. It now seems more bar-food oriented and more like Applebees or Chili's than what it used to be. I feel like Sunshine Factory has switched its business model from high-end diner to middle of the road food, because of a lack of choices and food quality that suffers in comparison to even a year ago. For example, I ordered the special that night, which was meatloaf. The plate came with corn and pieces of red bell pepper, a couple of slabs of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy. The taste of the meatloaf was meh because it was overcooked and dry. The corn looked great, but had the taste of canned corn (not even frozen corn). The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent; I just wish the other items on the plate were as good. (I've noticed this decline over my last few visits and no longer feel this is a one-off situation). I have no idea, but I feel that Sunshine Factory has consciously decided to downgrade its selection (the menu is probably a third of the old offerings) and quality, although service remains high. Although it is consistently crowded with returning guests, they run the risk of other people coming to the same conclusion, which will eventually erode the success they have had for decades. I know that the restaurant business is competitive and difficult, but you can't ride on your prior success long-term. I would love nothing more than to see them return to the variety and quality that they are (or were) known for.

Lately, my visits to Applebees have been fewer and further in between. I had a moderately disappointing meal experience at the Plymouth location today, but let's start with the positives. I'm pleased to see that they have gone back to the classic 2 for $25 model (with some expected up-charges). This being back solves the weird fragmentation of the multiple tiers going up to 2 for $30 that had different entree choices for each tier. Now the days of having to negotiate with your spouse or date on which tier you collectively have to choose are over. Each person can order any of the listed options and still get the deal whether or not they land within a more expensive entree tier together or not. This is a welcome change for sure! The only unwelcome change here is the subtraction of the 4 cheese Mac and Cheese :( As for service, I felt like the staff fell short here. To be fair we had a larger 12 person party, but we had called about several hours in advance and should have been expected. I felt like the minimum expectation would have been 3 standard tables pushed together in a line, but unfortunately they had us spread between separate tables. In addition to that, there was too heavy of an emphasis put on paying with the on table tablets, which with a larger party size is just not convenient. The server had all of our tabs split correctly which was great, he could have just taken the cards and rung them up like the good old days. Especially because in my case he even had to manually go to the back to add a coupon I had brought with me. I handed my card to him along with the coupon, but when he came back he still made me ring myself up. Such a simple scenario of where the customer experience could have been made more seamless with minimal effort. Although there's room for improvement, nostalgia (or a family event) will likely bring me back in the future, and I look forward to that day.

So when I saw their food truck while taking in the Super Bowl hoopla on the Nicollet Mall last Saturday I swung by. The Prime Rib Dip I ended up ordering was a messy but very tasty and filling sandwich. Served with seasoned fries, it hit the spot. For $15.99, it's certainly on the high side for a sandwich. But it was top notch. The odd thing was they offered no beverages. On a cold, blustery day I would have loved a hot cuppa coffee with my lunch.

At first, I was a bit reluctant to order from a food truck that has pretty much every type of typical street food, but the aromas that bellowed out of their kitchen pulled me in like a tractor beam. I was also sort of tipsy. I'm also chubby, And when it comes to food, I thirst for good eats like Pepe Le Pew when he looks for that female skunk. I ordered a pair of cod tacos and mini burgers with small fries. One order would be for my intern. I think I'm sort of nice. *Mini Burgers: PERFECTLY SALTED and packed full of juicy flavors. Ugh, I was totally caught off guard as to how awesome they were. The fries were also nicely flavored and well fried. (I think total it was something like $7? $9?) I didn't have the tacos, but they were beautifully presented, and I almost shed a tear as I handed them to my intern. Damn it, I wish I ordered a pair just for myself. The people serving were also super friendly. No complaints. My food came out fast, too. If I'm ever at an event or in Downtown Minneapolis, I'll be sure to leap at another opportunity to eat at Jake's Street Grille. The only suggestion I have is that I thought the portions were a bit too small, considering the prices. Won't stop me from getting more food from there, though!
