Although Buffalo Wild Wings pricing has started to feel a bit unreasonable lately, it's still worth catching them on a Bogo boneless Wednesday (especially during happy hour!) Last night I tried out the new Maple Chipotle Sauce, along with the new Cajun sauce. Both were very good and I would certainly recommend them. If you're looking for a lot of spice though? They don't really deliver on that. I tried the Blue Long Island for $4 as well, and that's an absolute steal of a deal for sure during happy hour. Our server was very friendly, checked in often, and made sure we had all the we needed. On NYE, we ordered a variety of wings to go. I put the order in online, selecting 4 different flavors for the 30 wings (could have picked up to 6). We went with the Parmesan garlic, sweet bbq, Asian zing, and medium. The app said they would be ready in 18 minutes, but when I arrived early, they were ready! This was very surprising based on signs warning of short staffing. The waitress working the pickup counter was very friendly and quickly helped the two customers ahead of me. The wings were really good, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce. I liked how they used bigger boxes with dividers to split up the wings instead of just little boxes that awkwardly stack in the bag as well. If I come into your restaurant, dirty some dishes, take up a servers time, and contribute to rent, heating and cooling costs, that is free. Ya know, the food wasn't terrible---it's attitude of this place. Everyone working here obviously hates their job and they have no problem showing it. Every time we asked for something or tried to tell them that something was off we'd get major B&*ch attitude and they walked away from us. Unreal. We specifically visit on Thursdays for boneless Bogos, bouncing between several locations. Last night we ended up at the Plymouth location. We were greeted fairly quickly and brought our waters. Our server, a shorter female with very short orange hair, who's name was Nick (this was on the receipt so not sure if it was really her name) was friendly enough but had issues repeating back our orders which were only 2 different flavors so that concerned me a little...food was brought our super quick by a different female and we asked for silverware. To my horror, each set of utensils was caked with food and also what I would assume was soap residue? We waited patiently for Nick to circle back (or any employee) so we could ask for a different set. Nope. So my boyfriend went to the takeout counter and ask for plastic silverware. I pushed the dirty silverware to the edge of the table so Nick would see it when she stopped by but nope... by the time we got to eat my wings were barely even warm.. she also didn't ask us if we wanted any refills on our drinks at any point during our dinner. When we were done my boyfriend asked her for lids for his ranch. She said she yes they had lids and she would bring them.. Check came, no lids. I said she will bring them when she picks up the check. Nope. I said maybe when she brings the card back. Nope. We went and asked for lids at the to go counter. Yes, it was busy. Restaurants are back in full swing....but the lack of attention and common sense is dumb.....especially in an industry that works for tips....i don't really feel like going out and having to serve myself at a sit down service restaurant. read more

Worst experience at a restaurant in some time. Sparing every detail: service was extremely slow, had the greasiest burger in my life, they mixed up the wing order, shorted the amount of fries....just a bad experience from start to finish. They had plenty of staff on hand so no excuse for slow service. During these pandemic times, most restaurants limit your time seated to an hour and a half. We were there 2.5 hours due to slow service. The only thing they did quickly was clear the table and toss the box that held my leftovers. With places struggling to survive (and so many going under), you would hope places would work harder to satisfy their patrons. This place felt more like it was a burden. read more

I don't blame our server entirely, but our drinks were slow to arrive, the chicken wings were cold, our whole order didn't arrive at the same time, and it took way too long to get warm wings back from the kitchen. We were never asked how are meal was or if we wanted anything else. And this was not at a peak time of day! No, it was just before happy hour. When I complained to the manager, he said the server should have asked for help. If we could see she needed help, why couldn't he???!!! Takeout at the BWW's in Plymouth is very reliable, and a great option on the go. I was impressed with their accuracy of time estimates, and that food was still very warm by the time I got it home. On the plus side, they'll even do lunch takeout which is nice if you are out running errands on your busy workday. I tried the lunch taco special with chips and salsa instead of fries. And, if you haven't ever tried the salsa at any BWW's you are missing out. It beats out so many other authentic restaurants in my opinion! The tacos (you get 3 little tacos at lunch) are packed with flavor, and it's so nice that you get to pick your sauce. I personally recommend the honey bbq, which yes does sound odd, but it's oh so good! read more

I left without any food and without a $35.56 refund. Kid at counter not properly trained or empowered to do much, no manager available for escalations. Here's what happened: I called in an order about 6pm, was put on hold multiple times. Total call time, 10 minutes to order two items. Was told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Arrived about 6:25. I was handed my wings at 6:32. I inquired about the chicken wrap and fries, was told that would be another 10-15 minutes. I waited there while my wings got cold. After 35 minutes of waiting for the 2nd part of my order, I asked if they could re-make my wings since they'd been sitting out on the counter for 35 minutes. I was told they were too backed up. Was also told that my wrap and fries would still be a while. I asked for a refund. Turns out nobody in the restaurant is able to perform a refund. So what happens? The kid write down the last 4 of my credit card # with a sharpie on a sheet of paper. I asked for a refund receipt. He stated there was no way to give me a receipt. I said write one then. He could not do that. I left. I had taken a break from Buffalo Wild wings after my last few orders were very incorrect. I know the food service industry is struggling right now, but honestly, if you can't handle the capacity, stop taking online and call-in orders until you're caught up. It was clear that kid at the counter was fairly new, but he was taking a beating from all the other customers too. OK, not a bad place to go BUT. If you have the name "Buffalo Wild Wings" and you are selling your business as a Wing place than you would think that the Wings would be focus number one, not just the sauces. They do have a nice selection of sauces to try and the wings are OK. The ones I got looked like braised rabbit, they were way overcooked and looked shrunken and dried out. The medium sauce was good but I have had better, the hot sauce was not very good at all. You can make a hot sauces that has a great burn but can be eaten. This sauce burned your mouth and had very little appeal, don't get me wrong I love hot spicy food but this was just burn and no flavor. The Blue Cheese sauce was gross, from a large bottle or jug and really poor. Your a wing place, take 5 minutes and make your own Blue Cheese sauce, it's not that hard and something that makes a huge difference. One of the down falls to chains is they don't pay attention to the details. The staff here are very nice and prompt! The only issue I've ever had here was when I was picking up an order to-go and it took almost 5 minutes for someone to help me. Someone was at the host podium but you could hear chatter (non work related) from a couple employees around the corner from the take-out registers. It took until an employee came out of the kitchen for myself and the other woman waiting to be noticed and helped. That is my only issues with this place. I guess makes sense there a bunch of teens who work there who don't give a sh... I get it you know your young and just want to get paid junk change but you know you can get more money if you treat us like you want us there you would make them big tips! Which is more money. This place is better then the one in Edina southdale I will give them that! When the food is on point it's incredible. Sometimes I order just boneless medium buffalo it's okay I love when they drench them but lately they come out dry like wtf I didn't order powder! The other plate I order would be the nachos that is always a go to never had a problem with them I eat all them by myself no one can touch !! I also order the garden chicken salad eh it's a salad not memorable but when I don't want food and just go for company I'll order a salad! While some people sit and camp at the tables without ordering food or paying attention the fights, the B-Dubs staff pays attention to you. We stood around for most of the night, but the staff checking in on us and providing drinks and food made the experience the same as sitting down and watching the fight. Then by a miracle we were able to get a table for the last fight!! I normally love Bdubs, I've never had issues until i moved to plymouth and started going to this location. This place is a complete train-wreck. The last few times I've had a terrible experience. Long waits, staff is chatting in the back while I'm at the to-go counter ready to pickup my food. The last 2 times they messed up my order, the time before that the wings were freezer burnt or expired (tasted disgusting). The first time they screwed up I called and they gave different wings, but I had to drive back and get it. OK, so Buffalo Wild Wings has made some menu changes...and they're pretty good. Their food had slipped for awhile (2/3 star level), but the changes will encourage me to come back (pumped up to 4 star). The wings are a bit meatier than in recent visits. This could be a market condition thing. regardless, it's nice to see. I tend to go with Wild and either Hot BBQ or Spicy garlic. Blue cheese on the side. They're seasoning their fries with a salt an pepper mix, now. Well done. And now the fresh, never frozen cheese burger. I don't come to BWs for their burger, but this new update is good.
