We took a few minutes to order as the age range of our group was 12-73 years of age. The waitress was kind, and patient as we ordered. After ordering the food came quickly. We had a variety off the menu ranging from Salad to rice bowels and three different types of burgers. The Food and service was excellent! The manager came and asked how the meal was and was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge. I highly recommend this establishment and we will come back again.

The atmosphere is bright, cheery, and enthusiastic -- although perhaps a bit loud. But then again, it's a sports bar with more televisions than Best Buy. The service was extremely friendly, professional, and competent. All of the waitstaff were hard working and very attentive. Our waitress can around often to bring pop refills and to check on us. The food was typical sports bar faire, but well done. We did not go for the July Bloody Mary of the month ($30!) (see photos), which came with more food than a full day's outing at the Minnesota State Fair. Instead, my wife had been and the Jumbo Bacon Cheddar Chive Tots ($13), which were filling and tasty. The tots were stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chive, and served with aioli. I had the Traditional Bone-in Wings ($16.50) with two sauces - sweet chili, and sticky garlic gochujang. Although both were flavorful, my personal preference was for the sweet chili. All of the wings were juicy and cooked well. I also upgraded to a very large portion of beer battered fries, which were shoe-strong fries. They were cooked well - not greasy or overcooked and very tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.

The place was already busy right when they opened at 11, which is usually a good sign--and it definitely felt like a well-liked local spot. The atmosphere is very classic bar and grill with lots of seating, TVs, and a comfortable, casual feel. I ordered the chicken parmesan and French Onion Soup, and both were really good. The French Onion Soup had a rich, well-developed flavor, and the cheese on top had a slight sharp "funk" to it that actually worked really well. It added a little extra depth instead of just being heavy. The Chicken Parmesan tasted fresh and satisfying, with a good balance of sauce and breading. It had that comforting, homemade Italian-style feel rather than something overly processed. Overall, I would come back. It's not fancy, but it's a solid, reliable stop with good portions and flavors--especially if you're in the area or heading to a movie nearby.

I was there about a week ago and had the Chicken Parmesan ($18.95) with "Hand breaded chicken, house red sauce, provolone, romano cheese & spaghetti." It was actually bad. The coating was gluey, not crispy, the sauce tasted bad and even the spaghetti wasn't really good. I checked Yelp reviews, sorted by newest to oldest, to see if I was crazy to think that the quality of food at Sunshine Factory was getting worse and more recent reviews seemed to substantiate my own thoughts. When Sunshine Factory was at their old location on 42nd Ave N. in New Hope, it was a upscale supper club. They modified the menu and vibe when they moved west to the current location, but until recently the food was very good, as was service, and price. But within the last year, it's been sliding downhill from what was a 4 or 5 star rating (in my mind) to a 3 star and now a 2 star rating (my own ratings, not the average of all ratings. In my mind, the quality is getting worse and worse which is a shame. The bar is consistently busy and perhaps is the bulk of their business. Also, I'm sure there is a lot of repeat business on the dinner side of the restaurant. However, if the quality of the food continues to decline, that repeat business will disappear. Hopefully, they will turn things around before they "mysteriously" go out of business from lack of quality.

It doesn't have a huge deli menu, but it had a bunch of sandwiches on the menu that looked pretty good. You can zoom in on my photo to see the menu. We came for breakfast and there was a nice donut case as well as other breakfast options. We came late so the donut case was pretty picked over which is to be expected. We had a cream filled bismark, a sausage roll, and an Asian coffee. The bismark was the best I have had in a long time. They fill it with your choice of fillings right when you order so it isn't soggy. The dough part of the donut was fresh and light and somehow tastier than anywhere I have been. The custard was pretty standard custard, but also tasted lighter and fresher than I have had before. The sausage roll was basically a hot dog type sausage wrapped in a croissant type dough. There was also an option of cheese and jalapeño. It was good. The Asian coffee was good, as you might guess it was pretty much what other places call Vietnamese coffee. It is in a strip mall so there is strip mall parking. There is a ramp and the store is pretty handicapped accessible. The staff were fast, efficient, and friendly. There was a good amount of seating inside, and a few tables outside.

He even talked us into coming back for brunch -- and honestly, we probably will. Cocktails? Delicious. Food? Even better. We started with the cauliflower, which was packed with flavor. Back to Pink Ivy. The service is quality. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The reservation policy may seem "strict", but if you can live with needing to provide a 24 cancel notice, I think you will find the service is good because the business doesn't get slammed by unexpected high demand. Wait person timing was off a tad when we first sat down. It felt a little rushed as we order our drinks and considered a starter. In fairness, a table of 16-20 followed us in so the wait person may have been doing us a favor. But it did influence my four star rating. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. Great care was taken when wait person checked for allergies. Not just asked, but noted and went to the kitchen to confirm. During the meal, flatware was changed out between courses, water refilled without disruption and the order arrived on time and all at one time. Our group enjoyed the halibut, salmon, and chicken bacon meatball items. Everyone loved their meals. A few of us ordered and split salads. We passed on desserts. The menu range may not be pages long, but all the usual suspects are there; salads, fish, poultry, beef, and pasta. And I know the chef rotates items on the menu. I encourage you to plan ahead. Reservations fill up days in advance. I think you'll find it worth the extra planning. PS my ratings are adjusted for the type of venue. These are not Michelin stars.
