I've tried and tried and then I even tried again. Obviously my fairly lenient standards for food consumption are just too high for this place to meet. I can only surmise that since my life has more depth to it than just chugging beer and cheering for whatever sports team happens to be on the TV that perhaps I don't fit in here and I am ok with that... This place epitomizes everything that is wrong with this country. What we as Americans have been forced to accept from the corporate world that controls us is not even mediocrity. Customer service is more than just a smiling face that says something pleasant, even if not sincere, to you on the way in and out of an establishment. Commonsense has been replaced by ridiculous rules in a measure to protect against every liability contingent ever imagined and the simplest gesture of honesty as in "I'm so sorry I messed up your order I will fix that for you immediately" is, but a distant memory in favor of constantly blaming the faceless kitchen staff. Unsanitary - SICK I asked for cherries on the side with my cherry pepsi. I asked 3 times. After the 3rd time, another server walked over HOLDING cherries at the tips with his HAND and dropped them into my soda. God knows what else is going on in the bar and kitchen. First, I would like to say that I only go to Buffalo Wild Wings for Boneless Thursdays. Its generally pretty crowded/busy. That being said, do not come here on a Thursday expecting speedy service (unless you get Nicole as a server, that girl is on her game). I usually go with a group of 5-10 people and we are obnoxious and loud but that's okay because they staff often joins in and encourage it! The food is okay in my opinion, exactly what you would expect from a chain restaurant like BWW. Plenty of fried options and some attempts at a healthy choice, as well as a decent beer/mixed drink selection. My favorites are the Garlic Parmesan and Teriyaki sauces because I am not a big spicy fan, but even the Chipotle sauce isn't too bad! If you aren't too sure of which sauce you want, you can ask your server and they will bring you a few fries with the sauces and you can taste the waters, so to speak! Appetizers seem to come out fairly quick, but then the wings usually take a while, maybe 20-30 minutes to come to the table. Some other perks include a trivia/card game that you can play on TV's throughout the restaurant against other players while you wait, the restaurant offers a military discount, and are also willing to help with fundraising events in their area. If you have a an hour or two to go down and hang out and have a few beers with some friends, this is a decent place to go. Cheap wings and beer, could you ask for much more on a Thursday? read more

Call it for takeout because it's always so crowded, put on hold for 5 minutes, then someone picks up, and puts me on hold for another 5 minutes. I then order my take out, 50 wing special, told it will take 25 minutes. I arrive 25 minutes later, spend 5 minutes trying to find parking in the ridiculously small parking lot. I ask about the order, the cashier says, uh , it's such a large order it make take a little while longer. Really 50 wings is a large order for a wing place? Really? I sit and wait for 20 minutes, during which no take out orders come in, making me wonder why I was on hold for 10 minutes, the laughing giggling cashier on the phone did give me a clue why. While I wait in the crowded holding pen, the man next to me with an open draft beer from the bar, yells WTF 10 time in a row when the Sea Hawks intercept a 49'er pass. Parents grimly smile. Really Wild Wings? Alcohol in the holding pen? Really? I ask about my order, it's now 30 minutes past the promise time, I get a lame smile, let me look into that.... then she answers the phone.... I tell her to cancel and leave. 4 hours later, no call from management to make things right....... I would have been a $200.00 a month customer fools. read more

So I have been to this location five times now, and the San Jose location once. To me they all taste the same: gargabe. Literally I think the food here is disgusting and extremley overprocessed. Like the queso cheese dip, spinach and artichoke and that buffalo cheese dip special, it tastes so gross. I swear the cheese they use on everything tastes like a weird hyprid of velvetta and american cheese. And the salad, same thing, nasty overly sweet and tastes like fast food. BUT- the wings, fried pickles and beer are good enough. But since my boyfriend and his friends love this place I am so sick and tired of wings and beer that the last few times I've been here, I've tried to find something different to eat. And on a separate location, I had asked for a certain beer that I've had before, when I got it, it tasted like straight up sprite. When I asked the server about this weird tasting beer, she took it back and got me something different and then told me that they were out of the one I had asked for. So they mixed my beer with sprite? I know that beer I asked for is supposed to be a little citrusy but wtf? The service has gotten better the servers are nice, the bartenders are still bitches and you don't have to wait forever for seating now unless it's a night like UFC night. So many chances have been given to this store... I quit. Let's start with things that are probably not the store's fault. Seems that the brand for corn dog bites and garlic mushrooms have changed. How about, as every wing joint in the world does, wings go in a pan with sauce, shake, put in to go box/plate it. If I wanted plain wings, I'd order them. Change your grease more than yearly... The color of fried things shouldn't be dark brown. If I call an order in and you say 15 minutes, I show up in 15 minutes and then wait 10 more for you to get (make) the order. Fail. If I place an order for pick up at a specific time, show up at that time, and then wait 25 minutes for you to get (make) the order. Fail. No, no I don't want to add a drink to my pick-up order. Fairly certain to-go beers aren't an option. Maybe you're employees should learn the menu. Having to describe a cheesecake bite/ball/nugget/chunk, etc. is annoying. ....though, semi entertaining. I read the reviews before I went there and I still read them. Most complain about the service but all mostly can't stand the loud tv's and music. It's a sports bar people. It's not a fancy five-star restaurant where they have monogramed napkins. I never realized the people in this area were such exquisite food critics who compare places like this to fancy eateries. Does this place really deserve 5 stars? No. But it also doesn't deserve the 2.5 star total rating that it had when we came for dinner. On a good day, I'd say a decent BWW would be 3-3.5, so I'm just trying to help. It did take a couple of minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the hostess stand, since there was no hostess on duty. But the waitress that did come over was very sweet and gave me our pick of tables. After that, the service was solid. Never had an empty glass (hubby was drinking beer, but I was not), food came out hot, promptly, and correctly. I haven't been to BWW for about 6 months. My boyfriend and I came in one night and were charged for things we didn't order, had horrible service, and it took me about 2 weeks to get a refund for the $77.00 they shouldn't have charged me. The manager, after we had to speak a number of times told me, "Come back and let me know when you are here". Maybe he meant to comp us? I'm not sure and I don't think it is fair to ask for something 6 months later. We came back tonight to watch the 'Bama game. BWW has screens. Big ones. Lots of them. I thought that would be good enough to make up for the memory of a bad experience that has kept me away for the last 6 months. It isn't. There are four in our party. We couldn't seem to get drinks. For about 15 minutes. The waitress did greet us, tell us she was busy and then we waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. When our food finally came all of our drinks (a cocktail, three beers, a water and an iced tea) were so empty there wasn't even ice left....we had chewed it all. When our food was delivered we asked for two waters, a beer and a refill on the tea. A single water came about 5 minutes later. I had to flag down a passing employee and beg for refills. Still nothing. We ordered our wings spicy. Maybe BWW likes to torture patrons and see if they can handle the spice with no beverages? Maybe staff keep bets to see who can make a guest so desperate they will drink from the bathroom taps? Or the toilet? I'm not sure, but save for a twisted game It is confusing to me why getting drinks is almost impossible. Six months ago I was told my bad experience was "uncommon". It wasn't. Bad service seems to be the norm and is clearly endorsed by management as it is endemic. BWW has great TVs, good beer (if you can get some), and good wings. First of all, I actually love the food here. The wings are big, full of flavor, and come out hot. That being said, the service at this location is spotty at best. On two different visits there were literally no employees visible when we came in, apparently there was some sort of meeting going on in the back. Whoever decided to have a meeting and not even leave an employee to greet customers needs to stop and think a bit. Other times we are seated quickly but don't see a server for ridiculous amounts of time. Once we waited 15 minutes before I finally got up and went and found someone. Maybe the communication between the hosts and the servers needs to be worked on, maybe they just don't care. Either way, it's frustrating. The most recent visit we waited a more reasonable amount of time for our server to arrive (10 minutes, not too bad) but after finishing our meal we waited over 15 minutes to receive the check. We never even saw our server so we could not flag her down. At this point, if there was another decent option for wings in the area we would never return to this location. The only thing I have ever ordered here has been the Grilled Chicken Salad and I am extremely happy with this meal. I have been coming back over and over again for this salad because not only does it taste awesome, but it they keep it under the 500 calorie mark. I have never been here when I had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy the ambiance in here. Being a sports bar there are many large televisions playing whatever sport you can think of. This place offers a smorgasbord of flavored wings. My favorites : Parmesan garlic, Mango Habanero & The Thai Curry. Appetizers: Street tacos - of course not "real street" - are good. Popcorn shrimp with Asian zing sauce - amazing. Potato wedges are much much better than regular fries. Crispy and crunchy. Spinach artichoke flatbread is a hit with the vegetarian blokes. Fried pickles are just ok. Nothing great. Nice drinks menu. Beer, Wings & Sports - what more do you need? If you are looking for the virgin drink variety, try their Mango lemonade with free refills. Epic! They have 50cent wings on Tuesday. Totally worth it. Service is decent. My friends keep coming back for the wings but they dread the wait time & service. The franchise wing house offers lots of tv's and can accommodate larger crowds. That being said, we've had a couple groups that were huge and the bill always gets crazy... so, try to keep it under 8 people if you want to remain manageable to one server. The food is ok, can't say that anything I've had there has really been above the board, but the wings are good enough. The parking lot is cramped so show up early if you can and I'd even try to dip out early or avoid leaving when large groups depart right after a game. For a late night full of adventure and craziness we came in and not only got sat down by a lovely woman who was super sweet and gave great service. we had a BLAST with our server Herby! OH MY GOODNESS Herby is the definition of top tier customer service, he was such a sweet gem and full of good spirit. He was super attentive to our order and even gave us caramel sauce to try with our cheese curds! And lemme tell you I can never go back, my friend and I loved it so much it has like a funnel cake flavor it's soooo goooood YOU MUST TRY THIS when you come here! I have been to Buffalo Wild Wings before in Los Angeles so I was so excited when I found out they were opening one in Seaside. Yesterday was opening day and we decided to try to be one of the 1st 100 guests (They got free wings for a year). We showed up an hour before opening and ended up being customer 107. boo. Anyway we were looking forward to eating there! Considering it was opening day I think they did a great job. It was a little crazy and packed. We waited in a LOOOONG line for almost an hour to get in, so considering how many people they had come in at once I'd say they did a terrific job. Service was a tad slow but nothing too crazy, and we were happy to wait. All of the staff was super friendly and we even had waiters that werent our own come over to check on us. Cam our server was so nice and had a great attitude. They had girls in special white jerseys called "Guest Experience Captains" that came around and let us sample sauces/seasonings before we tried them (Love this!) We started with fried pickles (yum!) before we had our wings. We got quite a few flavors deciding on Asian Zing, Spicy Garlic, Thai Curry, and Mango Habanero. All of them were so good but that Mango Habanero killed us with heat! It was their third spiciest. I cannot wait to come back to BWW to try more sauce flavors and their fun cocktails. read more

Needed to place a to-go order. The lady at the to-go counter basically read the clearly marked menu off to us, then left us to decide what we wanted. We only needed a minute but it probably took another 12 mins to get someone to help us. We asked one waitress who said someone would be out to help us, then went about dicking around counting menus. Another customer behind us joined in our rubber necking, looking for the original to-go lady to return to take our order, which never happened. We watched countless servers pass by or stand around without acknowledging us. We finally interrupted a meeting of the minds with about 5 employees in attendence, and got Karl to take our order. The music was so loud, we could hardly hear him anyway. Karl said he'd mix carrots and celery with our wing order. We got a bag of wet celery. BWW is one of my fail-safe choices in unfamiliar places. I came to this one at around midnight, and sat at the bar. My beer came really fast (since I was very close to the taps, I guess), and then food as well. I had 10 wings, 5 with desert heat dry rub seasoning and 5 mango habanero, plus some fries, some veggie and ranch dip. The wings were really good, and very spicy as well, especially the mango habanero --- but that was the point, and I enjoyed that so much: I was full of tears. The service was really good. I honestly come here a bit. I'm a CSU student in this area and come here with my buds. I enjoy it for the sports, good times with friends, and the okay to good wings. Why three stars? The speed of service, and the lack of control on the TVs! Yes I know on Tuesday or Thursday nights its super busy with happy hours and wing discounts, but that should also mean ramping up the amount of hands and the amount of training that goes into them! I went to BWW on a busy Saturday around 8 pm. I was told by the hostess that It was a 2 hr wait with a sarcastic tone. I thought she was kidding!!! People were watching UFC without vacating the seats. Some customers weren't even eating or drinking. This creates a long wait time as if we were dining in SJ. I left after waiting for thirty minutes! I was too hungry I returned for a different ocassion on a Sunday afternoon. There was no crowd. However, the service was abismal. It took them 45 minutes to bring one of the two samplers. Sampler is not even a meal. We waited 15 additional minutes for the second one since the waiter forgot to bring it. I don't really recommend this place unless you plan to wait a long time. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings is a place where you know what you're getting in both service and food. The food was meh but our waitress, Michelle, was not good at all. My friend and I sat at BWWs for 3 hours for a meal that should've lasted 45 minutes. Michelle didn't offer us water with our beers, didn't check on us as we ate, and was no where to be found for hours when it was time for us to pay. We happened to come during a game so it was somewhat busy with some large groups. Our waitress didn't use any paper but perhaps she should have since what I ordered and what I received was completely different... so of course then I'm stuck with the decision of just eating it, or sending it back and everyone else is done before I get my food. I did send it back and the new one didn't take as long as I'd thought but still not ideal. This location has horrible service. My cousin, my son, and I were visiting from Sacramento and wanted some chicken wings, Buffalo Wild Wings was close to out hotel, so we decided to go. We waited at least 7 minutes before someone greeted us when we got into the restaurant. We waited another 10 minutes before we were seated, even though there were plenty of tables that were open, We ended up getting seated in the back corner. We got stuck with a waitress named Natalie who was absolutely HORRIBLE. When we ordered, we asked Natalie how many wings came in the snack size, she asked what flavor we wanted. I informed the waitress that we were not sure if that the size we wanted, we just wanted to know how many wings cam in that size. She rudely said 8. We then ordered what we wanted, and my cousin told the waitress that she wanted to place an order to go when we leave as well. Natalie was very rude when she took the menu and said " We will just put this over here until you are ready to leave", she then snatched the menu from my cousin and placed the menu with the drink menu at the back of the table. We were shocked at the attitude and figured maybe she was having a bad day. Until it got worse. She came back with waters and napkins. The water tasted like dirty water and she gave us dirty napkins. After slamming the dirty napkins on the table, we asked to speak to her manager. Travis came over promptly and apologized for her behavior. He asked if there was anything that he could do to make up for her attitude. My cousin placed her order with him, and she was not charged for her to go order. This place is fun to go to during games with friends or family. There are more than enough TVs to see the action no matter where you sit. They also have board games and trivia games you can play with other patrons through a common television in the dining room and remotes that can be brought to the table by the servers. This really makes Buffalo Wild Wings stand out from the rest. Unfortunately the food here is not that good. I don't remember what I ordered since its been a couple months since I been there. I do remember sharing wings with my family, they weren't impressive. I like the wings at WingStop much better. The service was surprisingly very good, despite how packed the place was.
