One star only because you cant mark 0. Came in for lunch with my family on 9/28/25 around 12:30pm. All was well until my daughter cut her chicken sandwich in half and realized it was raw,not undercooked but raw. Spoke to I assume the KM who admitted it was a mistake, however by this time I was frustrated and kept asking him what he was gonna do about it. He replied "It came out what do you want me to do now?" I replied "Go yell at your freakin team and make sure they get temps right" At the end of the day they comped my granddaughters kids meal because we had ordered off a special. Total bs. The GM was respectful but still doesn't compensate for serving raw poultry. My advice, cut your chicken open before eating it there because obviously they don't use thermometers.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. It took the waitress 28 minutes just to come over and greet us. That should have been a warning sign and I wish we would have left. The restaurant was almost empty so there really isn't an excuse. Our food order was completely wrong. She forgot a meal. She double charged us and we had to correct her. Not to mention, she didnt check on us one time. Working in the industry, I kindly tipped 10%, but seriously.... This place is a joke. Dont go here.

I was so thrilled to check this pub out especially with our doggie, Meatball the Bulldog! How perfect right? A Bulldog at The Bulldog Sports Pub. We snagged the last available booth, and it had crumbs on there. Not clean. SMH. I went to the bar to order some drinks for my boyfriend and me since he left his wallet in the car. It was raining that night, and we parked several blocks away. The service was okay. I remember the guy bartender said $29something, but then he charged me $30something. I got the Jalapeno Margarita while my boyfriend had the Tito's Mule. My drink was very sweet with a kick of jalapeno while his was pretty good. They had music playing. It seems that there is a modern jukebox where you can pay to pick a song. There was one pool table for people to play. So many people came up to pet Meatball and give him so much attention. He absolutely loved it! There was one guy who asked if he can say "Hi" to Meatball, and we said that it was okay like we normally do. This weirdo was basically making out with Meatball; not cool at all man. Then Meatball flipped on his back, and he was holding Meatball. My boyfriend told him to let go of Meatball. It was such an uncomfortable interaction. Not normal at all. He even said, "This is my NYE kiss!" SMDH. The guy sat down at a table that is across from us, and he kept looking at us. We quickly finished our drinks, and then we left to ring in the new year at our hotel lobby instead. We should have just hung out in our hotel lobby instead of going out; it was much better there.

We love finding new places to eat with our family, and this place did not disappoint. The halibut special was mouthwatering, and according to our son, he would eat the ribs daily. Our daughter ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it could have fed an army. For dessert we tried the skillet cookie and mousse, and once again, and they were delicious. If food is good but the service is mediocre, it ruins the entire experience. However, the staff checked on us about every two minutes, and even brought a small dish of water and extra napkins for our son who was eating ribs. We'll be back...very soon. There was a family of three that came 15 mins after we did... we barley got one round (no waters, the bus boy served us waters, waiter over worked) they got two rounds plus there food. Mind you there was only two of us. There was a table of 4 that were behind us, they got their food, ate and we still didn't have our food. Worst service I've ever had I am from the Bay Area where we are over populated and use to waiting. It wasn't the wait, it was how disrespectful the wait became. DONT OPEN THE 12 doors just walk away.... Not to mention they didn't even give me my damn truffle fries, didn't even have the heart to ask and wait another hour for them to fix it. Thanks for the strong drink, it was greatly needed!

Yet the ambiance, service, and food are very good! I love the various aspects of the decor, as well. Other than parking challenges on a busy night in the downtown, we were lucky to get a table for 5 relatively quickly, as this place isn't that large, with some additional bar seating, and it seems very popular. 5:30 was a great time, as we watched the waiting line grow longer after we were seated. Our server, Michael J., did a great job of greeting us, providing menus, and taking initial drink orders while we decided what to try. We decided to try BBQ honey wings, fried artichoke hearts, and onion rings for appetizers. The main courses were two orders of kids' cheese pizza and tater tots, a small dinner salad, a cup of New England-style clam chowder, and a NY Steak sandwich. The food came in a reasonable time, with appetizers and salad first, then the rest. The apps were good, but the onion rings were a bit greasy. The honey wings were well-liked, as well as the artichoke hearts, which, strangely, were not oily like the onion rings. Yummy! The cheese pizzas paired with tater tots were certainly different, but the pizza was more like a reheated frozen pizza. The tots were okay. The NY Steak sandwich was good as well, with a side of steak fries - obviously! Overall, we enjoyed the meal and would definitely consider dining here in the future when in town.

We made a reservation the day before and got a table outside on the pier right by the water during sunset. We started with the half dozen oysters and the coastal clam chowder bread bowl. The oysters were some of the freshest I've had and tasted really clean. The clam chowder was New England style without bacon, which I liked, and it was buttery with plenty of clams. The bread bowl had a nice crunch and paired really well with the soup. I got the grilled chicken piccata for my main. The chicken was too dry, but the piccata sauce was really good. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and both were flavorful and cooked well. I also got the China Cove Mai Tai. It was nice and strong. For dessert we got a chocolate cake with ice cream. The cake itself tasted good, but the ice cream was flat, not very flavorful, and too crumbly. We got a bit early before our reservation, and we sat at the bar for a couple drinks before dinner. There was plenty of room and bartenders were super attentive. After relaxing for a bit, we joined the dining room for our reservation. We got a beautiful spot right on the water. Our waiter Hannah promptly came to check on us and get a drink order started. My partner continued to have some very cold coors light like which he appreciated. I switched it up from Prosecco to having a Hugo spritz, which felt very refreshing. We started with truffle fries and a Caesar salad. My partner rated the Caesar salad and the fries assault eight out of 10 on both both very flavorful dressing was fantastic on the salad lettuce was very cold. Good sign of freshness. Moving onto our entrées he had the seafood pasta and I had the cioppino pot. Both very hearty in their portions. I was shown in Photos that cioppino pot I had was overflowing with different proteins from rock fresh to shrimp, clams, mussels, and crab. It was extremely flavorful, definitely one of the best cioppino I've had. My partner thought his seafood pasta was cooked perfectly also had plenty of protein to satisfy him. Only room for improvement was that it seemed our server got pretty busy with some other tables getting all set at once. Along with the fact that they had forgotten to bring me a spoon for my soup and it took a minute to wave someone down. And an honorable mention was us being able to see in otter finishing his own dinner while we were having ours very cute super fun evening for us.
