If I'm not at Millers, then my other selection for fight nights would be Buffalo Wild Wings. For this visit, we came to watch the UFC 270: Ngannou vs Gane fight. Having been to enough BWW games nights, I knew how crowded they can be. As a precaution, we made reservations for 9pm before the late-night rush. Upon arrival, everything looked nice and there was a short line of two parties by the door. Glad to have made the reservation, we entered, and it was surprisingly not packed with quite a few empty tables. The host informed us that they were unable to login to their reservation machine, so it would be a 45-minute wait. Of course, I showed my reservation and protested the failed customer service. Not wanting to deal with my objection, the host led us to the corner-most table that did not have any good views of a screen without straining your eyes or hurting your neck. The table wasn't even wiped down at the time of our seating. Thankfully our waitress was very nice, she is the only reason this review would even deserve two stars instead of one. After sitting, she noticed our dirty table and proceeded to wipe it down. We asked about seating with a better view of the screens and was informed that we couldn't move because each waitress had their own sections. This would cause her to lose a table and they didn't want to do that. Other than this, our waitress was very friendly and engaged in some friendly banter. One of the other major disappointments for this evening, was the fact that I couldn't order my BWW signature drink of choice. I was told that their location didn't serve the Buffalo Zoo, even though they had the ingredients. Strange, eh? The food was tasty, there were no complaints from our table on that. My order consisted of very healthy-looking chicken cooked at the right temperatures. Our tables shared order of seasoned fries, was nicely seasoned. There was a large table next to us, with ten college kids. They were a rowdy bunch, a horrible group that was disturbing other patrons. They were making obnoxious remarks about the waitresses. Furthermore, the group were throwing food and drinks all over their table and the floor. We almost got hit by the commotion. It was very shocking to us that the staff observed this and did not kick them out for creating a negative environment. As if that wasn't bad enough, after that table left, another group came that was almost as bad. They were horsing around, putting each other in headlocks. We later found out that one of them was doing this to stop another from doing something even more foolish. He was attempting to subdue his friend from doing cocaine in the restaurant. After the calmer individual let go, his friend lined it on the table and sniffed it up. The person who did the cocaine ended up going multiple times to the bathroom with a few of his other friends. Once they were back, he was smoking his vape until a staffer informed him that it wasn't allowed. The same staffer saw him continuing doing it after she returned. She then told him that he could go to the bathroom and smoke all he wanted, he mocked what she said loudly and continued to smoke. We observed another headlock along with another line of cocaine being sniffed off the table. This will not be an ideal location for me to return to in the future. If I sought to watch another fight in this city, I will recommend any other sports bar. This BWW would be a last alternative. read more

FIRST OF ALL BUFFALO WILD MF WINGS i have a lot of issues with the service & food i received october 23 2023 at approximately 8:40pm. we came for the 50¢ special & had many questions about the deal in which every single question we asked our waiter, she did not know the answer to and had to leave for 5 minutes to go ask somebody. every. single. time. which was fine for the first two times because she could have been new, but the repetitive behavior of not knowing was extremely unprofessional. she did not properly explain to us the deal & at the end of the night when we asked for take out boxes (upon leaving for the 100th time to ask), she said we could not bring our food home ... absolutely outrageous to not be told this information beforehand, but best believe i took home what i paid for. this is the kind of thing you tell your customer before allowing them all to order up to 12-18 wings each. if you knew that was a part of the deal, explain that to your customer before they order from that deal. when we asked to speak to the manager, the manager did not hear us out & said there was nothing she could do and they all gave very irritating and just not knowing. on top of that, she gave every single person ranch even tho we asked for blue cheese ... ON TOP of that, when we were given our loaded fries, they were incredibly stale & appeared as if it were siting out for a long time. the cheese had dried & the fries were all stuck together. the bacon tasted old and actually reminded me of the taste of blood. she also gave us a random loaded fry saying they made this but it isn't on our bill while proceeding to forgot about a normal fry we actually asked for. when i ordered takeout for my friends using the same deal she had no issues with ordering it & sending the order back to be made for me. maybe ten minutes go by & she comes back to tell me that you can not do the deal with take out. what blows me is she didn't think to tell us about anything regarding the deal. as a customer, being informed about things that deal with MY money is extremely important. she also took all of our uconn ID cards to put in our discount code just for us to wait 10 minutes for her to come back & say we can't. so much time was wasted waiting on our waitress rather than actually enjoying our meal & experience there. it seemed like no one knew what they were doing & in reality i was so irritated i didn't even want to pay. the music was also mad sad for absolutely no reason. the vibe was not there bc why am i trying to eat my food and somebody is crying on the speaker. my groups last experience with our waitress was amazing. she brought great energy, was well informed, interacted with us and brought in her own opinions when we had questions, and was overall a great waitress. we are very upset at how disappointing this one was. one thing buffalo wild wings will never see again is me ! read more

In town for a hockey tournament and needed a quick bite before the game. Furthest thing from quick. We waited 10 minutes and ultimately had to seat ourselves. Then another 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. I ordered guac and chips immediately, but that wasn't brought out to us for a solid 20 minutes. It was only 2 of us, and the boneless wings from the kids' menu and a cobb salad took 40 minutes to come out. I was not expecting a fine dining experience, but this was a poor experience from start to finish. When I called I had to wait on hold for 10 mins just for the manager called Peter that the best he can do is give me the drinks if I go to the location despite I paid for delivery. The only good thing about this location is that it's consistent. Consistently bad service, consistently bad food, and consistently bad experience. I went today for lunch (about 1:30pm) and we were one of about three people dining in the whole restaurant. Upon entering not one person came to greet us. They were all sitting at the bar chatting. We seat ourselves, and since we're frequent customers of BWW we already know what we want. Our order came out COLD! I asked for the wings with extra sauce and they were DRY. It looked as if the wings were already made and we sitting there waiting for the next person to order them. The fries, easiest thing to make, we're also cold and stale. I told my waitress (yes I have her name, but as to not publicly shame her bad service even though she really didn't even care enough from the beginning) our food was bad. We ask for the manager, who comes over and literally just stares at us and doesn't know what to say. The ball was dropped not once, or twice, but even when they had the chance to make it right, they still managed to mess it up. I was doing a taste test for Super Bowl so I figured I would try Buffalo Wild Wings. I did a pick up order but they didn't do curbside which I didn't like. Even worse than that is the fact that you have to go ALL the way to the back of the restaurant to pick up so if that makes you nervous, steer clear. It's pretty much what you would expect from fast food. The wings were ok-I got salt and vinegar rub and Nashville hot; the rub was better. I also got bbq boneless wings which were small but ok and fried pickles which were meh. Very slow, lets just say that I use to go to the one at Port Chester but since moving to Stamford, I really do not want to drive all the way back.. When you walk in, every single week, there is no one at the door, even when the place is empty, we usually have to wait 5-10 min for someone to sit us. Once seated, it takes another 5-10 min for drinks and food order to be taken. Since we're a weekly regular, one day we decided to get the hottest sauce, the blazin. Of course our waiter, the douche bag that he is, knowing that blazin was incredible insane hot, did not come to our table for over 30 minutes we had no drinks. Granted it wasn't bad for me, my fellow co-workers didn't have the tolerance. We went once after 1:30 to skip the crowd and even at that time you're often ignored. This is probably one of the worst BWW locations I have been to...and I did not even order in. I ordered my food online in advance for pick up. When I arrived, I was directed to the back of the restaurant where the pick up area is and it went downhill from there. The cashier was not very friendly and seemed rather annoyed at everyone calling and then my food was late. I know it was not his fault, but I put my order in so it would be ready on time, but of course it wasn't. I ended up waiting 20 minutes past my initial scheduled pick up time. Also, the food was not up to my usual BWW standards. There was barely any sauce on my wings depriving my food of any flavor. I used to love the happy hour deals at BWW but I do not think I will ever come here as service is not what you would usually expect. read more

Went twice -- first time, they mixed up everything they brought me. Second time, we told them we had a movie in an hour (theater is next door, restaurant was empty). She assured us food would be quick. 45 minutes later, she brought us the wrong order.. and we missed the movie. Lucky and glad that Buffalo Wild Wings was playing the ufc fight as always much respect on that part however quite possibly the worst experience I've had at this establishment. We were put on a waiting list (totally understandable during this pandemic) but their was a group behind us that was seated immediately while We we're not attended to for 45 minutes. When the waitress finally came over I ordered a margarita and was told I wouldn't have it until I ordered food for my table. Keep in mind I was already planning on ordering food. After I placed the food order and got my margarita, I was overwhelmed by bitters, corn syrup and lemon juice with maybe half a shot in my drink. When I approached the "manager" to see if he could top of the drink he said he couldn't do anything about it because of "company policy". Most bartenders have the common courtesy to top of a weak drink, especially if it's your first drink of the night. The rest of the night got worse from there on. Coming back from the bathroom I was Berated in a loud tone by the manager while walking back to my table for not wearing a mask. No one in the restaurant was asked to keep their masks on at the tables. Our waitress had told us that he was suspicious that we would walk out on our bill and not even pay. That "manager" has some god damn nerve treating a loyal customer since 2009 like this. Everything displayed throughout the night demonstrates The horrible management this location is under. 2Mar2022: Placed an order with Buffalo Wild Wings at their Summer St location, Stamford, CT, to have delivered via GrubHub, I received text messages to keep me informed of the arrival of my order. The order did arrive within a reasonable time of the last transmitted text that stated that my order would arrive between 7:58-8:08pm, I tipped the driver ($5), commenced to opening the bag, my food was refrigerator cold!; all of it; the parmesean/garlic was placed "on the side", verses the wings being marinated with; I requested ranch dressing on the side to go with my side order of celery, non-existing in the bag - I spent approximately 15 min with the person on the other end placing my order, that we would get it right. I call to make a complaint about the matter to (a) the manager, my call was routed to "Katie", with whom I had to initiate the ask if she was the manager - what a low quality of individual she must be that others would have to take direction from - she deflected to Grub Hub as to the state of my food being cold, again, my food was refrigerator cold, Buffalo Wild Wings is less than 3 miles from where this order was to be delivered, there is no reasonable excuse as to why my order was received in this condition, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. This was a $28 order. Katie offered me nothing to make me feel whole, just deflection. Needlessly to say, I will never order from Buffalo Wild Wings again, at least not the one on Summer St in Stamford, CT, and I will absolutely be passing along this poor experience that I've had with this establishment. read more

The lady that was behind counter had to get something from the back and walked away. Never acknowledging myself or the other guy that walked in after me. I understand her ears weren't open and she's too worried about the fight she just got in to put in the right order. I tell her my order is wrong and to fix it. Instead of saying sorry, I'll get another one. The miserable lady say "YOU DIDNT ORDER THAT, BUT WHATEVER" and walks away. Lol, this is when they got me messed up. She comes back LATER, grabs my plate, and comes back with the right order. Slides the plate in my face giving me a nasty look and walks away without saying anything. You think I'm eating that?! My table is right next to the server station and I hear the lady talking about me to the other servers. I refused to eat the food. Asked for manager, considering how pissed I was, she wasn't that apologetic. I made her take the meal off my bill. DID NOT EVEN EAT THE FOOD. I literally have no words for the place but dirty and ghetto. And the servers do nothing but walk around cursing, gossiping, yelling and wasting time.
