A chill spot for NFL Sunday -- it was busy but not crowded, really easy to walk in and find a spot. The staff is really friendly and switched the TVs for us so we could cheer on the 9ers! The food here is classic bar fare, I'm obsessed with the Buffalo Cauliflower. I'd totally come back to spend an afternoon watching football here.

Came in for a quick snack and drink. Spacious but dark. Got seated in the back. Lots of TVs - good for sport viewing. Got the Irish curry fries- reminds me of Japanese curry. Good fries, kind and patient service.

Came here for the Laker game last night and we got cracked so that sucked. I'm not the biggest "raw raw let's go get a group of guys together and house a bucket of brewskis" kinda guy, so maybe take this review with a grain of salt. I felt like a fish out of water. This bar is exactly what you would expect it to be. Great for sports and to get the boys rowdy. Some dude that was absolutely sauced in here kept coming up to our table and trying to talk to our lady friend with us and that was hella annoying. But hey that's not the bars fault I recognize that. Our waitress was awesome and gave me a heeaavvyyyy pour on my glass of pinot noir. Shoutout Kelly! And yes, I got a glass of pinot at an Irish bar and that probably loses me any credibility, but I can only be meself.

Stopped by this bar for a quick bite and light drinks last night. The atmosphere was buzzing, the business attracts all sorts of crowds which we loved very much. Ladies, lots of single looking men were here so if you're trying to meet someone this is a good spot. We started with a round of Aperol spritz which were made strong. Our other friend ordered a tequila soda, which was also very well-made. I was hungry and ordered the famous chicken quesadilla. It was absolutely delicious, crisp to perfection and a very generous and filling portion. The chicken was well seasoned and shredded and absolutely delicious. Our bartender was very attentive and service was quick. I would definitely come back here if I'm hanging out in the neighborhood. Even the bouncer outside was super friendly. Highly recommended.

Came here to watch the Arsenal/Liverpool match as my then BF's a big fan, (who couldn't miss a second of the game and wouldn't leave our hotel room), and was welcomed with open arms. Met a lot of other fans, who were friendly and engaging, and even got a seat by the bar. Several tv's and a big screen, didn't have any food though it looked good, but the beer was great with a good selection.

The best short rib shepherd's pie!

Excellent food and ambiance! Loved all the great Irish music and really fun vibe. The short rib shepherd's pie was the best I ever had! Tender beef and nice, large portion. Good fish & chips too and nice service! Highly recommend...

A simple bar where you can get your regular beers and enjoy some sports on the TV. Vibe: very low-key, nothing too exciting. I came on a Sunday during football season and there were definitely people watching games but no one getting all that excited and cheering loudly like I was expecting a sports bar. I wouldn't say that this is a place to go to if you're looking for fans to watch a game with, More so if you want to enjoy football in your own peace and quiet. Drinks: like I said, your regular beers and a few extra but nothing spectacular to mention about it. Service: great service at the bar, bartender was pretty attentive and kind. Overall, nothing jumped out to me about this place but it might be a nice spot to read a book while watching a game at.

When friends who've known each other for 45 years end up in New York same month, same weekend, you find a cool place to celebrate!!! Slainte was just the place. It had some great drinks options for everyone and we even tried some of their custom blends that are written on their chalk board menu. My husband were in New Jersey for his company party while by best friend G & daughter A were visiting her oldest daughter/fiance who lives and works in NY. I think technically this maybe considered Manhattan but the bar had a great vibe and the service was amazing. The staff were a lot of fun and we didn't feel like tourist or strangers to the bar, not that most there were locals but we fit right in and all around the general crowd was a mixture of clientele and we didn't eat there but we did notice they may have offered some for those who would be interested. We hit this bar up after we had been to an Italian restaurant around the corner. It was second week of December 2022; I just realized I forgot to drop a review. It was such a fun place we are hoping to visit again this upcoming year sometime in the summer.

Tried this place out because my date bought a package where you can get free cocktails at different bars. It was nice to see an Irish bar with modern decor as many of the older ones are looking a bit run down these days. We shared the fish n chips and the beef sliders. Both dishes were solid, but nothing that blew my mind. The curry sauce for the fries were really good and the bartender was nice enough to give us a taste of the sauce so we didn't have to pay extra to substitute the fries in the fish n chips. The Irish coffee was pretty good. You could taste both the alcohol and the coffee. But again, there was nothing that stood out in terms of drinks and food at this spot. We also came here on a Monday night, so it was quiet and cozy. However, I'm not sure if it's always like that on the weekends. Overall, solid spot that I would definitely come back to get drinks at again.

I had a seat outside this past weekend and was greeted by the wait staff right away. I just a beer and nachos so i could chill outside for couple hours. Nice ambience. Service was great. Will return of course.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

I showed up an hour and a half early before the event I went to "started", got a seat at the short (Ada compliant) bar and settled in to grab a drink or two before everything started. It took 45 mins for someone (2 people were working) to actually make it down to our side on the bar, everyone I was sitting with, including the tables, wanted to order. The girls next to me said they got there 15 mins before me. If I wasn't here specifically to watch a show with other people in my community I would have left. An hour for a drink!?!?! I took it on the chin and just ordered 2 drinks, which was great because an hour and a half (we ordered the second time after the show started) later they finally came back.
