Rude service, bad staff, phone order was screwed up asked for boneless got with bones....

Contrary to other yelpers reviews, I LOVE BW3's (or B-Dubs). Yes, their prices are a little high but you get a plate full of saucey goodnesss! The ambience is also great, there is one huge semi truck by semi truck (over exaggeration) screen and SEVERAL smaller screens. Sitting at any angle you're watching about 5 TVs at once all on various sports channels. Well anyway, back to the saucey goodness. There is so much flavor on your plate, you have no time to watch sports! Generally, every sauce is good sauce. Even if the taste is ultimately unpleasant, it is packed with flavor! They have MANY different sauces ranging from sweet to spicy and somewhere in between. I typically get the ribs & wings platter which includes fries and coleslaw. Half slab of ribs, six wings, it's enough to feed 2 people or 3 light eaters for about 12 bucks. I am very picky about ribs at restaurants, but B-Dubs sets the bar. Top them with honey BBQ and you're set. As far as the wings, I go to the very top of the spectrum which is Blazin. This sauce is for the spice/heat savvy ONLY. If you want a sauce with flavor and heat and will have smoke coming out of your ears, stamped with a warning disclaimer, this is the one. You will still feel your mouth simmering an hour after you leave and several cups of water later. Got to love it. read more

My family and I ordered our food over the phone. I expressed a lease on two different occasions that I wanted extra sauce with my naked chicken tenders because they refused to dip them in sauce. Of course, after I receive my food I thought that there are two salad dressings not to size of Asian zing. On top of it the waitress I spoke with while placing my order over the phone was somewhat rude/sassy because I had noise happening in the background. Just waited in my car for an hour after ordering an hour before that and being told the wait time would be 45 minutes, two hours for 20 boneless wings and a couple tenders. Just stopped in since my son wanted wings. Now so far Heather our waitress is on it! Great service but now the challenge. We always get wings the same way, Flats, medium sauce, and well done or as we were told long ago 18 minutes. Now we wait! Ok side bar, the mini corn dogs were the bomb and I know cause my 14 year old son assured me of it. And so we wait for the hope to be star of the show, WINGS. So they have come and they are gone. Was there last night and the service couldn't have been worse. It was busy, but far from packed. It took over 45 minutes to get boneless wings. The remodel is great, but the service is awful. Likely will not be back to Central at dinner time. They were very understaffed, or had very poor training. My waitress kept saying I'll be right back and then disappeared for well over 10 minutes. Great place to take kids. My kids tend to get restless. Between the many Tv's as well as personal tablets available they stayed quiet and well behaved. The cheese curd appetizer was amazing. Served hot and fresh. The wind sauce was spicier than other places and lacked flavor. The chicken itself was one cooked and crunchy and hard. Poor waiter was nice and quick. Server knowledge of the bar and food specials is always lacking. Ask for your wings crispy or they're undercooked and slimy. Hit or miss with the food but same great atmosphere. Decided to stop in here from out of town, I typically don't rate common restaurants like BWW's since you pretty much know what you're gonna get. Decent food with decent service, etc etc. Well...I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with a smile by Jade (I think her name was) and seated relatively quickly, to which we were also quickly and pleasantly greeted by our waitress AOI (wouldn't forget that name). I'm typically an obnoxious sauce orderer and that's exactly what I did this time too, ordered the chicken fingers and 6 sides of sauce, to which our waitress was sarcastic about but ultimately very fun, polite, and more than willing to get. It was actually refreshing to have someone that can be playful but still provide great service. Got my meal along with each sauce I ordered with no mistakes and pretty quickly I will add too. Never had to ask once for more water or go searching for our waitress, which was a nice change for going to a BWW. Will easily come back next time I'm in the area! read more

My mom my sister and I went here the other night. We hadn't been in a long time and we were quickly reminded why. We had an older waitress and I was feeling relieved because normally I've found the older waitresses are more attentive and are just better. WRONG. The waitress mostly ignored my family and me and another waitress pretty much took over. The young lady who was the runner from the kitchen that night was rude and essentially plopped the food down on the table and walked away without saying anything. Straight average, nothing special. I guarantee that your waitress will be under 20 and in training, she will make mistakes and spend more time texting than serving. While I stick by my previous review regarding their dine-in service, the wings are pretty good and it's great for take out! Their wings are decently priced ($16.59 for 24 whereas another local wing place charged $18 something for 20) and they were really speedy in preparing my take out order! Tuesdays! Always deserve a visit from me for the wing special. 40 or 50 cents per wing on tuesdays, I can never remember the actual cost. Get them tossed in the variety of sauces or have it naked and the sauce on the side. My favorite sauce has to be the Mango Habanaro but it's a little too spicy even for me in quantities more than 5 or 10. I've been going there a few years now since 2007 and lately the sauce (garlic Parmesan) is so spicey you can't even eat it! One piece of chicken and your done. It's sad because we called and told the manager about it and they did not offer a courtesy order or money back or anything. This is the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I have been to. My service is always slow on things like food delivery, getting checks, and refills. Today the lovely manager took my parties name on the wait list then went off to do something and when the host returned he started seating people who were just walking in and ignoring us. The app was buggy at best. It stopped accepting payments and would take so long to process an order that your pickup time would be delayed by 20-40 minutes by the time it was done. They just changed their Tuesday wing policy to be dine-in only, so there's no reason to have the app at all, anymore. On top of that, you can get wings if you dine in, but they won't let you take home your leftovers. Supposedly they inform you before you order, but that didn't happen until they restaurant told us they were refusing to take home the few leftover wings that WE ORDERED! The good news is, I've been spending way to much money on their overpriced food that isn't even that good (let's be honest, besides the sauce, B-Dubs is barely better than fast food) for the last couple of decades. I can't tell you how many weekday nights I've stopped in here and there is a huge line. I ask the hostess how long and she always says "I've got no idea, people are just watching the games." So yeah, they allow people to sit there for hours sipping on waters. I can't imagine how much more money this place would make if they actually served all the people waiting some food and drinks. First of all the hostess was rude and unfriendly. But the issue is, during this time I choose a place to eat based on if they have an outdoor patio. BWW does. When my family went today I requested a table outside. In my party, there were 2 adults, a 9 and 10yo, and a 3yo. The hostess told me since there were 5 of us and not 4, we could not sit outside because they would not add another chair because it would leave a table with 3. Really? There was one table being used outside and several empty. So because we had 5 people, we were forced to eat inside, not allowed outside, and in a more dangerous and socially closer situation? And speaking to the mgr did nothing. His dimeanor and attitude was, 'go somewhere else if you dont like it.' If by some chance I or my family get ill after requesting and being refused a table on an availavle patio, and it can be traced there, I will certainly hold them negligent. Refusing a customers request to dine on an available patio based on number is a ridiculous, reckless, and dangerous policy!! read more

Waited to be seated for nearly ten minutes until a worker that was in street clothes sat us. She was very friendly and cared about customers even off the clock which we thought was helpful. We ordered the large pretzel app which was great... our meal on the other hand was gross. I got the sampler platter, my spin dip was cold, chili fries were mushy, & I only ate some of the tenders. Husbands sandwich wasnt good and he only ate half. Our server was very quick to take our food away when she asked if we wanted boxes and we instantly said no. Despite some of the negative reviews, I have had great experiences here. The food is not the best but certainly not the worst. But I could see some of the issues, they usually do have very young inexperienced waitresses working there. Thankfully we have never had an issue and it has been a pleasant experience everytime. read more

I have been lunching at BWW five or six times per month this year. Usually the food is great and service above par. But on my latest visit I was disappointed. I usually take my time, catch up on paperwork and read a book or interesting time. This visit I sent my ice tea back because it tasted terrible. Like soap. The waiter promptly brought me a fresh glass. A little better, but still bad. I finished my meal and asked for the check. The waiter (unsolicited) asked the manager (who was standing at the next table) if he could comp my beverage. "NO WAY"., then went on about operating margins... Zack brought me my check and I gave him my credit card. While he processed my card the manager sampled the tea and promptly had the batch thrown out. Turns out it was spoiled. But I was still charged $2.29 for a beverage I could not drink. So in the future the margin percentage will be 100%, but 100% of nothing, because I do not plan on returning. We decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings because my guy was in the mood for wings. Hostess was fine, was greeted with a smile and sat down right away, which we thought was odd for it being a sunday night during football season. We asked to get sat at the bar, was seated in the bar area. Good enough. Our server came over pretty quick and introduced herself as Aoi. I said I'm sorry what was your name? She repeated herself and i said what a fun name! She said its just initials. What can i get u to drink? So right from the get go i knew she wasn't personable or very friendly for that matter. Everything we asked for we noticed she would roll her eyes as she walked away. I ordered the boneless wings, hot garlic, and asked for swiss cheese and grilled red onions on top, seriously delish, she said cooks won't add anything to wings so i settled for grilled red onions on the side. She said cooks won't dice them, they will be sliced. Ok thats fine. My guy ordered wings, parmesan garlic and mayan mole. When our food came his wings were all mixed up in the mayan sauce, instead of putting his parm in a different container. So it was pointless to order different sauces at that point. I love spicy. Most things i make/order are spicy and i think i have a pretty high tolerance to heat. I was concerned that the spicy garlic wasn't going to be hot enough but figured id go for it. They are pictured in the yellowish green area on the menu, which is not spicy to mild. The sauce was so hot it was burning my lips. I had my guy try one incase i was being a whimp that nite and he said the same thing. Not even a good flavor, just pure hotness. I only ate 2 before i had to give my mouth a break bc i couldnt handle it anymore. I would have said something, maybe asked for a new order, if my server would have came around to ask how our food was. Instead at the end just brought me a box. As we were leaving we remembered the last time we went there. Walked in, a server dropped napkins and silverware, and put them back in the clean bin to be used. We walked right out. i'm glad there's still one in the area......it should tell you how bad toledo is at getting/ keeping national chains. if you want to open in the toledo area, don't do it in the city limits. Screw Bw3s! I had take out from them yesterday, and got sick because of it. Called today and spoke with the manager, and because no one else called to complain about getting sick, (how many people even bother to do that) they are doing nothing for me, except apologizing. I had a small order of mild wings, and a basket of the cheese curds,($22.00) and the service at the take out counter was ridiculous. She was training some new gal, so took my order, and walked away without saying one word. The gal at the other cash register ended up taking my money. Best Service and food we have had in months! We haven't been here since the renovated and I am impressed with how nice it looks. I came in with my wife and sons on Saturday night and we had Alex as our server. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She informed us about the drink specials and knew every answer to our questions about the food. Once the food arrived it was hot and tasted good. Might I add that it came out quickly too. Our fries were even warm and that never happens. We will definitely be returning soon and request Alex as our server again. read more
