I ordered a half order of wings (6) and split an order of onion rings with my friend. Our food was yummy and the sauces flavorful. I like that I was given quite a large amount of veggies to go with my wings. Our server was kind and chatty. Went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the UFC expecting a good time, but the experience was frustrating. The people behind us were smoking weed nonstop the entire time and it made the whole area smell terrible. What made it worse was that nothing was done about that, but somehow I got yelled at by staff for casually playing with a fork at the table. Felt like the priorities were completely backwards. Yikes. Not one to really crush someone or a business on Yelp, but this time, it's so deserved. My two friends, boyfriend, and I went to catch a random bite to eat and figured we hadn't been to a BDubs in a while... ended up being a wild mistake on our part. The bartender was god-awful... probably why she wasn't wearing a name-tag or anything. (For reference, the four of us dining in have had many, many years of bartending, serving, or at least some standard knowledge of how to greet/serve customers in a restaurant). Thinking about the details genuinely infuriates me, but to give you an idea, it took us 30+ minutes to get our first round of drinks (3 other people sitting at the bar btw), any time we asked for water we were ignored, she never asked if we needed napkins, silverware, another drink, etc., and it took our food over an hour to come out (I promise you it was not that busy, and we got boneless chicken wings and tater tots). She never apologized for the insanely long wait, probably because she was hiding in the kitchen, as we barely even saw her face (which was better ig). She was so mealy and mopey, you couldn't hold a conversation with her (nor did you want to). She seemed so over it, which I can understand as it's not always fun to be a bartender, but come ON lady... our food was cold when it came out, and the onion rings were literally coated in raw dough, so what were you doing in the kitchen that whole time? Tonight I ordered takeout as I have many times before from this restaurant. My order included a queso dip appetizer. On pickup, I checked the order, and it did not include my appetizer. When I asked the attendant about it, he tried to convince me that the 1 ounce cup of garlic parmesan sauce was actually my appetizer, and that it doesn't come with chips. This time, you could tell, these wings had been sitting around for a couple hours--cold, meat was mush, skin, tough. In fact, the wings had shriveled as they dried out. Called management. She tried to blame Grubhub. I tracked the driver, who got the wings here in four minutes. I emailed corporate and told them this manager has to do a better job overseeing quality control. I had never been here before even though I've been to this plaza like a million times. A friend and I met here for lunch on a Sunday. It was only preseason, but football games were on. It was pretty loud even though there weren't many people there. I got the cauliflower wings. I got the orange chicken sauce (which doesn't have chicken in it, I asked), and hoped it would taste like orange sauce at a Chinese restaurant. It didn't at all, and really didn't even taste like orange at all, but it was fine and wasn't hot. I don't like hot sauce, so that was good. I got the large for $17, and it really wasn't very big. I liked the size of the cauliflower pieces though, and the breading was good and it was crispy. I'd get it again, but it was expensive for the portion size. Our service was fine. Our waitress checked on us a few times. They also have touchless checkout on your phone, which is cool. The bathrooms were surprisingly nice and clean. Being a Buffalonian I don't really come to Wild Wings all that often. I can't remember the last time I ate at a location. There are a million local spots in Buffalo so I can't justify it. Friday night I met up with some friends who live in Webster and we ended up here. I was pleasantly surprised. We sat at a high top in the bar area, so our waiter was actually the bartender, Dan. He was so great! Personable, attentive, etc and very friendly. He brought multiple refills and extra sauces and was very nice. We all got these combo platters that were approx 14$ and came with a really good amount of food- boneless wings, onion rings, loaded nachos and mozzarella sticks. I got my wings medium which was a little hotter than expected. The food was hot and good and filling. I also forget that they have trivia here while you dine, and though I didn't actively play it was nice to watch along while we chatted. read more

BWW has gone to total garbage. 10 years ago there was a location near me and my friends and I ate there frequently, and enjoyed it very much. I noticed as that location was fading out their food had gone down hill and the prices were not. I drove 40 min yesterday to get 40 wings and some munchies as my son requested for his birthday. The wings were horrible! you could barely eat the meat on them without biting the bone they were so small and had so little meat on them. We got the food to go and it was ready on time. Everyone that greeted me was friendly, but the food is a joke. Very overpriced! I asked the price of a bottle of sauce (I would guess to be 16oz.) and was told $16. The potato wedges were ok, nothing special, and nachos were corn chips with a dab of queso and one tiny jalapeno slice. It's a corporate wing place. Food is about what you'd expect. However, they offer the UFC fights for free and the beer specials are really solid. So, I mean it's a good time if you know what you are signing up for and that is bad food and sports. Nowhere else in the city offers all the major UFC fights for free so that's pretty nice. read more

03.28.23 / @ 8:00 pm Sat at the bar (bartender was overwhelmed, but great nonetheless). Ordered 15 regular chicken wings. Ten of Asian Zing and five lemon pepper dry rub. I was VERY specific when I asked for extra extra extra crispy. As I looked around the bar, I noticed everyone that came in after me was getting their food. This was actually a good sign as that surely meant my wings were being cooked as I requested. All good. Well.... The wings came out and the 5 lemon pepper dry run were crispy. Not extra crispy, as requested, but I could live with them. The ten Asian Zing were like rubber. Once you got past the rubber skin (zero crisp) the meat was rock hard. No doubt that these were freezer burned wings. How could 5 of the 15 be done correctly and the other 10 not? Cooked separately? The 5 were fresh (well, frozen fresh) and the other 10 from a freezer burned batch. Those 5 lemon pepper dry rub wings were edible. Not great, but edible. The other 10 were disgusting. I mentioned this to the bartender. I didn't want her to say anything to a manager though, as I had overhead other servers saying the kitchen was screwing up orders all night. The night was rough enough and I didn't want to pile on. I still tipped over 20% even though I ate six total wings and had two overpriced Bud Light drafts. Total bill $33 plus $8 tip. I did notice the attractive silver hair female manager go over to the people next to me and ask how their food was. Obviously she knew them. She asked nobody else about their food - or I would have pointed out the disgusting (small) wings that I didn't eat. The vibe here isn't friendly. The lights are on 150 watts bright white. Zero ambiance. Everyone is clearly going through the motions. I suspect this location will be closed before football season starts again. There are way too many other places in the area that sell awesome chicken wings with $3-4 drafts, as opposed to $5.50-6.50. A free meal won't even get me back in there. The food was great but the hospitality was awful! If it werent for the bartender erica being so friendly and eager to serve us we would have left. The "hostess" table had 3 people standing there just talking and "cleaning" the same menu over and over again while the waiting area filled up. Since the BWW in Henrietta closed, my husband & I have been jonesing for some trivia fun accompanied by cold beer, wings & hot yummy cheese curds. We were told by the server that this particular location doesn't carry the tablets "because not enough people use them." Unfortunately, the Buzztime Media App won't work with iOS 11 and above, so using the phone app was out. One screen in the restaurant showed the trivia game, but what fun is that? Strike 1. We ordered our wings - salt & vinegar for hubby, boneless mild for me (I know, I know...but I'm a creature of habit. I happen to have had fond memories of their mild sauce). We also ordered (with much anticipation), a basket of cheese curds. Food arrived. It was cool...as in, it sat for a while on the counter cool. You'll have plenty of time. 2. If ordering appetizers say you want you them with your meal, they have a long wait period between apps and meal. 3. It takes forever to get your check! Make sure if paying with a card to have them take it when they drop off said check!!! "Busy" or slow doesn't matter. If it's cash they're quick to take though. 4.
