What a mess! This location needs a big band aid fast or it's bye bye! We were a group of 4 that arrived to watch Women's soccer game vs France. Big game, big deal. This location was NOT prepared for the customer count that came in to watch this event. So, we arrived 15 minutes before start of game to order up some of the Happy Hour menu items, we inquired to our waitress what was being offered, she did not know what was offered and stated that the domestic beers were featured. We inquired about what wine choices were offered, she didn't know. Fortunately, another waitress was nearby and offered us a Happy Hour Menus. It was obvious that first waitress was not trained in location offerings. We ordered two beers and two mixed drinks as tables were being filled up. Our Beers came within a reasonable amount of time due crowd, the mixed drinks took 23 minutes! We inquired multiple times about this delay, and duly noted there was no bartender behind bar. I then perused floor and found no one, no hostess and certainly no visible manager on duty. Order another round of beer and drinks, beers arrived without mixed drinks, then one came with out the other, had to ask where other drink was. Looked around to see who was in charge, no one present. All staff were young females hustling around without any direction. I wanted to share with someone how underprepared this location was. I was hoping to see a manager hustling behind bar to get store caught up. No one in sight, still only one bar tender trying to catch up. She was working hard and keeping it together. Near end of game, we order appetizer to go. Should have known it to was going to be an issue. Dip came with added Chile that we did not order but were charged for, had to ask for replacement. Waitress said it came that way. It clearly shows that added Chile is an 1$ up-charge. Again proving that our waitress was not well trained. Finally at end of game a night manager arrived, I shared how under prepared this store was, she apologized for the experience. Our group left with some of us heading home and some to a competitor down the street. We all spoke about our experience and the consensus was, WE won't ever be back. Hopefully someone that has input and can create change will see this and address. read more

What a disappointment! I don't expect gourmet food at a place like this but I expect my food to be fresh and tasty. I order a chicken sandwich. It was some kind of a patty, service luke warm on a day old bun! My wife ordered a burger. Overcooked, bun stale too. Kids had chicken fingers. they were better than either of our dinners. Foe a publically traded company cthey should spend a few of the advertising dollars on training their kitchen staff. I've had far better at fast foods joints. The worst experience ever! Did not honor the happy hour advertised! It took about 40 min to get our orders and to top it all off the large order of boneless wings was about 3oz of meat and 2lbs of breader! Have been to this location quite often, get there this time, waited 20 minutes to find out after I was seated that they had no boneless wings. A WING PLACE with NO WINGS?...how is that even possible. They kept pushing their chicken tenders on us. If i wanted chicken tenders, i would have ordered chicken tenders. April was the worst server I have ever had at any restaurant. Although fast she was more interested in sitting at her friends table and talking with them than she was serving the two tables she had. The food was good but I go out for service. If I come back April will definately not ever be my server. I cant stress how bad she was and the manager walking around in all black was a waste. If I could rate this place a zero I would. First we were greeted by a guy wearing a tank top with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. After we were seated and the drinks were ordered the waitress brought them out one at a time. The wings were deep fried frozen crap that were barely cooked. We bit into them and water poured out of them. The rest of the food was brought out slow. Crap salads and crap burgers. Kids Mac and cheese was cold. The only thing edible was the French fries. When we complained to the waitress she said the manager would be right over. Some guy eventually came over but never identified himself and he said nothing. He just slapped down a new order of the same crap wings. This place was absolutely disgusting. Don't go. There are several other restaurants in the same shopping strip that we should have went too. This location is very convenient for us, but worth the drive to Newport News or Hampton. Each time we have been, we have had very poor service. The first time we came we waited almost 20 minutes before the waitress made her way around to our table, the second time being 25-30 minutes. We are typically patient people and give benefits of the doubt- but really? Almost 25 minutes for a drink. When she finally came to get our drink order we put an appetizer order in immediately and when she came back with our drinks, we were ready to order our dinner. Our appetizer never came, so here we are with empty drinks, no appetizer, and no food for another 20-25 minutes without ever seeing our waitress. Me and a group from work have gone here on Tuesday's on our night off from work. So far I have yet to be disappointed by the location. The service is prompt and friendly, the wings were adequately sauced/seasoned each time we ordered them, and the dining appeared clean each time. They didn't have the shirts for the blazing wings challenge award last time I asked so I was a bit disappointed in that regard but It was nothing totally major. The price of wings keep me from going on any other day but I will certainly visit again someday to try their other items. read more

We took a large group in here (11 adults and 4 kids). I called and gave them a 15 minute heads up that we need a table. When we arrived the table was set and they were ready for us. As for the service, they forgot a few of the appetizers and we had to ask about their whereabouts. Food was standard BW3 fare that I have had at other locations. Is give 3.5 stars. Good is ok. Service was good. Decent place to come watch a game and have a beer. Nothing special nothing bad. They so have a trivia game you can play while you're there which is cool concept. You can see a tv from every seat in the house; there must be a minimum of 40 tv's there! So the wings here were excellent and the beer selection was pretty good too. I would also have to say that the service was really good as well especially when the manager came out to the table and gave us a run down of the different sauces since we had never eaten here before. I eat here about once a week. Possibly the only place in town to really go to a "sports bar." Tons of tv's but the service can be slow when they are busy. Always clean and they are accomodating in hosting our fantasy football draft. Parking can be a bear because it is in New Town, but thats not their fault. They also have all of the MMA fights that are normally on pay-per-view for free. I'm hooked on the Asian Zing Wings. read more

I eat here regularly, so obviously I am a fan. Food Quality: the food is better than most sports bars. I admit that I have not eaten at other BDUBS chains, but I would imagine that as far as chains go there is similarity? But it is a sports bar, not a fine dining joint. Williamsburg is filled with fine dining so as a resident this comes a nice change. ONE MAJOR POINT: It is always clean, the food is never greasy and always taste fresh (I order salads regularly). Price: its about average for the New Town area. Happy hour prices are good. Service: in my opinion, stellar. Kaila and Becca do a phenomenal job as servers. The only down side is when they are busy the kitchen can get bogged down a bit, but all in all I have never waited terribly long for food. And I go in both small and large parties, ranging from weekly lunches to Sunday lunches. I have only experienced one mishap and management was quick to rectify and own the mishap. Cleanliness: it is always clean. From the tables to the booths to the bathrooms. Last word: it is a sports bar. Its not Opus 9. Its not Ruth's Chris. But it is not some local sports bar joint. That is for certain. If you are looking for good food in a lively environment and receive good service without spending an inordinate amount of money, this a great option. read more

Order was incorrect and the wings were just ok.. Also, Please be careful when ordering takeout. I sent my teenage son in to order, he declined to give a tip on the card reader because the cashier only rang up the food. However, his debit card was charged a 20%tip anyway. I just so happened to look at his account and saw that it initially had one total but was changed to include the tip. I sent my son in to fix the situation but the manager gave him the run around, she told him the overage would fall off in a few days ..(?). I went inside and got the situation resolved. I feel that this is something the servers do on a regular basis. The cashier was Angelika, the manager said that she would never do something like that... well I'm not so sure. The total is changed to include the tip once the customer walks away and most people do not notice it on their accounts. I don't care how small of an amount, it was not theirs to take. I'll start this by saying that I frequent this location. The food is generally good and I pick up wings to take to work at least every other week. The takeout is always correct and always ready when it is supposed to be. Now for the bad; I have eaten at this location at least half a dozen times in the past three months and it is always horrible for service. I sit at the bar every time and the bartender generally doesn't notice for a fairly long period of time. It's gotten so bad that I usually start a timer when I sit down just to see how long everything takes. It's never busy and in fact I have been the only one at the bar on a few occasions. Waiting 10 minutes plus with an empty drink or to order your food is crazy when there is no one else there. If I didn't like the food and usually have longer than what should be necessary to eat, I would never come here. Definitely not recommended if you're on any kind of a timetable. read more

Was at this location for dinner and always have a great experience. Our server Joanna was the best. She made sure we had everything and our order was correct .Supervisor Christian also came around to make sure we were taken care of.He is the best. Always have a great meal here.The order is always right and brought out hot and dont have to wait.If by chance there is a small problem they are always on top of it and take care of it right away.
