This was my second visit to Revolution Golf, and this was a much quieter day with no band performing. The service and food reflected the less stressful environment. I really enjoyed the burger, and my friends enjoyed the fish tacos and the French Dip sandwich. Happy Hour House Wine was only $3.50 a glass. We came for a group function, the location was closed and only open to us. The meal consisted of chicken strips, fries, Mac-n-cheese, and a salad. They only provided enough food for each of our people in our party to have 2 chicken strips. The fries were really salty. While the staff was nice and helpful, I would not come back. read more

As some of us may know, getting the family together and finding an activity everyone wants to do can be a challenge. I reserved a room for my dad's birthday. I think our expectation was that it was an actual private room. The only things dividing the rooms apart from each other were middle walls so you could see in the other rooms. We were the only party in a room, so it wasn't a big deal but something that may catch others off guard. I love that the golf clubs were already set inside the room for us to choose from. The games were explained to us in a 5ish minute tutorial in the beginning. The waiter we had was very attentive and made sure we were good throughout the hour and a half we were there. We ordered food and drinks and it was quite hard to fit 6 people going back and forth to the mini bar table with our food plus our belongings. I wish there was some sort of actual table for the food inside the rooms. A minor inconvenience but one nonetheless. Stopped by here as a date on our anniversary. The place was very clean, and busy with alot of TVs. I tried to make a reservation the day before and the day of online but the online reservation process seemed to be down so I had to call, after talking to the lady on the phone I made a 2 hour reservation which she said was perfect. We showed up, waited a few minutes and got in about 10 minutes early. The prices were okay, and the service was okay as well. They were very busy with what looked like one big party, but they stopped by every now and then to check on us. The UI on the computer was a bit finicky, sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. additionally the software sometimes didn't even track my shot, as a frequent golfer I've used many simulators and this wasn't fantastic. Additionally, the lady on the phone and the website mentioned other games available like shooting but apparently our bay wasn't equipped for these other games, which no one told us until we tried to play them, and it sure didn't make our price cheaper given the lack of available options. Additionally, I had originally reserved a 2 hour window, according to my phone conversation, but 15 minutes after the 1st hour the staff came in and said they lost track of time and we had to vacate immediately, saying the next party was waiting, forcing me to down the drinks we bought and run out of the bay like a cheating spouse avoiding the partner coming home from work early. The whole thing was kind of insane the more I think about it. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of one or 2 was they at least only charged me for an hour, the concept was cool, and the staff was friendly. Overall not sure I'll come back when im in the area again, since im here a lot, as there are other things to do that are cheaper and offer a more consistent experience, but it was worth a shot. If you can get in during the week when prices are cheaper and get lucky to get a bay that offers everything they advertise, it might be worth a shot. read more

We stopped by Revolution on our way home for dinner, and was completely blown away! Staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and recommended several items we should try. The Frothy Moon burger is AMAZING. The beef was juicy and the sauce was housemade. Fries are crispy and fresh. I wish I had taken a photo! Would 100% recommend trying this place!! Bathrooms were clean, golf suites were big and easy to manage once our (human) tutorial was over. The bar is big, clean, and the staff looks like they enjoy being there. Fries had to be sent back because they were cold. Manager was very rude to someone in our party and took no responsibility for employees not being trained properly. But the food choices were very limited and extra salty. The cocktails were definitely made by someone who didn't know how to make a drink. We are here on a Wednesday night at about 7pm. We started with calamari with marinara that was served hot. They were really good. The portions were large and everything was enjoyable. There was a onion ring option with special flavor that was unremarkable. They had drag Queen bingo in the back which looked like it could have been fun. They were training new runners for the food and very apologetic for a bit of slow service - but it was not terrible. Finally the hostess was in spandex shorts, a t shirt and crocs. I'm not sure if she was a last minute fill in but her attire didn't meet the energy of the restaurant/bar/golf area theme. We did not enter the golf area so no feedback can be provided. We took our daughter here for her 22 Birthday. Very cool "sports bar" vibes. The golfing bays are super fun! The menu was fine. We just got apps, which were good. Service was friendly and efficient. I have been to Revolution Golf and Grille before for events, but not as a regular dine-in customer. Friends and I went specifically on Thursday for their trivia. The trivia was a blast and they had some wonderful deals for that evening including 1/2 off glasses of wine. They also had beer buckets and seltzer buckets at very good prices. You could take home what you don't finish since they have an ABC on/off license. The food was delicious. I liked that there was an option to get grilled instead of fried chicken for my buffalo chicken wrap. The pretzels and cheese were also delicious! The only downside was the service. Our main server was very attentive, but couldn't get a read that we were content at the time, so she was constantly checking in. There was another server that was helping, but wasn't very helpful. She was extremely pushy and seemed distracted. She brought my friend a warm glass of white wine and when dropping off receipts, just kind of threw them on the table/at us. I'm afraid to say that I have visited my least favorite restaurant I've ever been to. Staff is obnoxious and careless, they have no energy and look depressed. They also have an unhealthy golf obsession, as the eight TV screens visible from my seat displayed the same two golf matches. When we asked for them to put on the Mets vs Nationals game, it took nearly 15 minutes before they finally did so, just in time to catch Francisco Lindor make an error. They also refused to come back to the table and refill my water, completely ignoring my basic needs for survival. Moving on to the food, which was severely underwhelming. I tried out the fried chicken sandwich, which was lower quality than Wendy's, not even kidding. The meal also featured French fries of course, but only about 8. It was sad to see such a tiny portion, as I was saving my appetite all day. The table was very awkward, as the seat was quite far back from the table. You needed to lean forward far enough to contract permanent Scoliosis when eating. The restaurant also features a "golf room," that features virtual golf. However the room is pointless, as a family had already rented it out for themselves. The room is a stupid concept that 99.5% of people won't get a chance to check out. To make matters worse, we happened to visit during "comedy" night. The comedian was just extremely unfunny and boring. And no, it wasn't supposed to be dry humor, it was just lazy and pathetic. The second comedian was even worse. She was extremely obnoxious and forceful with her weak jokes. Not sure who she was trying to appeal to. For the cherry on top, after we finished eating, the waiter obnoxiously offered us desert. It was not even a joke, as she was hellbent on forcing us to spend some more money. So we gave the cheesecake a chance, potentially to redeem the crap we'd already witnessed. As to no surprise, the cheesecake sucked. It was way too sweet. The overpowering flavors disgusted my tongue as I listened to a second gas price joke from the comedian. Overall, I'd recommend for nobody to visit this establishment. Came with little ones to play "foot golf" because they love soccer. The sensors or the software is awful. We'd hit it soft for it to go crazy far and hit it as hard as we could to barely go. A lot of the time we went to go grab the ball and it counted as the next persons kick. On top of that there was a sign for a $9 pitcher of land shark. We asked for the "9 dollar land shark pitcher" and order a second one the same way. It wasn't until the bill came that we were told it was $25 dollars each. We orders mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and I forget to take a picture but they weren't hot enough at all. The cheese didn't ooze out as I took a bite. The pizza aaa average nothing special about it. The chicken tenders were ok again nothing special. The burger was good. It was a huge burger. They don't offer many desserts. A group of us went to Revolution Golf tonight for dinner. It was evident from the minute we walked in that our server did not have a lot of experience. A friend had called ahead to find out about their burger special and was told one thing, and when we got to the restaurant and asked questions, we were told things completely different. Our server did not know prices, kinds of draft beers, what could and couldn't be included with the special. Once we ordered, it took a very long time to get our meal, and once we did, several of us had to return food because it was lukewarm. They were accommodating to some of us, but other people had issues with their orders as well. When we finally got our bills, two people had things added to the bill that, according to the earlier phone call, should not have been added. When one friend talked to the manager, the discussion got very heated. The manager refused to be accommodating, and other than saying she was sorry, she didn't do anything to satisfy my friend, who was very, very disappointed with the way she was being treated. It seemed like it was a premade, frozen Patty and not a hand formed patty from fresh beef. Fries were ok. Luke warm. My partner ordered the chicken Keto salad which came with avocado slices. My family and I had a terrible experience at this place. It was our first time and it most certainly will be our last. We dined on a Wednesday, around 7pm. The hostess who sat us down gave coloring sheets to my young children, but no crayons. My kids sat down starring at the blank sheets for about 15 minutes waiting before I had to get up and ask for crayons. I was told it will be a few minutes before they're able to give crayons without telling me why. My kids continued starring at the blank sheets for another 10 minutes before they received the crayons. Even though the restaurant was completely empty, it took our server 30 whole mins to get us our appetizers. The appetizers were already at room temperature by the time it got to us. Then arrived the extremely bland, soggy, nasty burgers. We forced ourselves to eat as they were pretty pricey and left. The Revolution Golf and Grille turned us away today, Sunday November 27, because we wanted to watch the FiFA World Cup during lunch. The World Cup is an international world class sporting event held every four years, and in 2022 the USA is a competing team. But the Revolution Golf and Grille, supposedly a "sports bar", declined to dedicate a single television screen to the World Cup, and we were invited to take our business elsewhere. Needless to say, it was not difficult to find an alternative location in Williamsburg, and we ended up at an accommodating eatery on Duke of Gloucester Street that did not proclaim itself to be a "sports bar" but which was willing to broadcast something more than American football. LOW marks for Revolution Golf and Grille. Why call yourself a sports bar?? read more
