We just went to this location. When telling the hostess we had 4, she sat us and gave us 3 menus. We waited 15 minutes then asked the hostess if a waitress was going to come over. She acted shocked no one had come over. She went in the back and went back to the door. Shortly after a waitress came out and went to a table that was just seated. At that point we are really irritated. The place wasn't busy. Wait staff was just standing around. My husband went and spoke to the manager who just repeated what the hostess said. Who would have thought BDUBs is a go-to for burgers!?! Their American Classic is by far the best burger I've had thus far! It is well made, cooked to order. The bartenders know how to whip up a drink and are pretty fast getting them to you. It's a great place for game nights, welcoming atmosphere. read more

It's Buffalo Wild Wings, so you should know what to expect. We placed an order online tonight. I picked up the order and brought it home. Problem #1...some of our wings had no sauce on them. Took them back. Was told that they no longer have hot bbq (even though it is still on the website). No one bothered to contact us (cell phone was included on order). They just sent out naked. Problem #2...another 6 piece order was shorted a wing. Apparently, much like the local Detroit Wing Company, they don't know how to count to 10. The food was great! We attended during lunch hours and was able to take advantage of their lunch specials. This place has average pricing and great for families. The service was great and attentive. It has a sports bar vibe with TVs on every wall so you'll never miss the game when dining here. Great place to watch the NCAA Tournament game, service was great and the wing are always good.

The service here has gotten better. This is the first time in over two years that I have dined in(4/22/22). It is a Friday evening 6PM It seems like there are a lot of kids here. The parents of these kids are letting them run havoc throughout the restaurant. The staff here are trying to deal with it but basically these parents seem not to care what their little hells-pawn do. They are kicking the back of my booth seat. Running around screaming and all the whole these parents (From a local hockey club called the Otters) sit, drink, and pawn their kids onto waitstaff. I feel bad for the staff here tonight. They seem overwhelmed with these unruly kids acting like they have never left the house before. Parents of the Otter Hockey Club, if you bring horrible children to a public restaurant to get mad when someone speaks up about your out of control children. read more

I'm updating my review. Since first ordering from them they've gone downhill fast! The chili con queso doesn't contain anything except basic queso. When notified they say that you have to order chili con queso, every single order has stated chili con queso. We continue to just receive the cheaper queso, (we feel cheated). Management doesn't care and only makes poor excuses for their short comings. Also wings are tossed into the bottom of the bag, not the box. Save yourself the headache and go to WingStop!! Stopped in for a late birthday dinner with some family friends got there around 5 pm yesterday ordered our drinks then our appetizers, both took 20 minutes to get and before waitress came back to take our food order it was already almost 1 hour that we were there. It wasn't busy when we got there at 5 there were no specials explained to us, we ordered traditional wings all flats that did not happen, after dinner we ordered a dessert nacho to help celebrate my birthday she put order in and 35 minutes later it never showed, we just told her to cancel it since she said it wasn't close to being ready a D handed is our bill. Our bill was over $75 for my family's portion I handed her a gift card for $30 , $40 cash and my credit card for the rest, she came back with a bill for $34 that she put on my credit card I asked her why when I basically gave her $70 cash wise with that gift card she could not find the gift card I have her because she threw it away since she thought it was a fundraiser thing so she never looked at it or read it.so all in all we left the restraunt at almost 8 pm there was no way we should have been thete almost 3 hours. This is my families go to location when I ask "what would you guys like to eat?" The waitresses always provide excellent service. If you can ask for one I recommend Princess TK, Brittany, or Shelby. The managers are very personable and spend the time to make sure everything is to your liking. Thank you Brad and Erika. Today I went with traditional wings with the new rising sun sauce. It is an excellent blend of spice with an Asian zing. I think I would try this on the Mac n Cheese next time. Occasionally you actually see Spider-Man at this location as well. Wowza! This place has struck out 3x with me. I was a cook for 15 years and wings are by far the easiest thing to make on the menu. This specific location can't get traditional mild sauce on the wings themselves if they're life depended on it. The last time I ordered the wings were fried so bad they practically broke your teeth eating them. This time they were almost undercooked and there was little to NO sauce on them whatsoever. I've had Buffalo Wild Wings before and liked it (not necessarily loved it) but tonight's visit was just really, really good. A large order of wings split half medium and half Buffalo dry rub (which I didn't know was a thing, but I loved it!). My server was extremely attentive and seemed sincere in her friendliness. Service was fast. Food was fresh. Wings were large and they easily accommodated my request for mostly flats. My family and I have been coming to this location for many years, but after last night we won't be going back for a long time. It took forever for our server to take our drink order and even longer to actually get our drinks. We ordered the queso dip which we typically love - but last night it was almost as if they were running low and added hot water to make more. Hot, runny mess. There were maybe 5 whole chips, the rest were all tiny pieces like you'd find at the bottom of the bag. The customer service could not have been worse. Slow to get refills, slow to get our order, poor food quality, etc. I noticed the tables that were drinking we're getting their food and drinks much faster. Terribly disappointed for what we paid. ($65 for one awful ap, 3 entrees + kids meal, & pops). Not worth it at all. Take your family somewhere else! read more

There comes a moment in the development of a person where they realize that what was once enjoyable is now... not. And what was considered economical, isn't especially when something so simple could be so misconstrued to the point of utter failure that it just isn't economical. Granted, one must leave enough room open for locations, staff, skill vs will, and ingredient ratio but overall, the disappointment factor far outweighs the value factor and with Buffalo Wild Wings, I've been disappointed by this establishment for more than I care to number or recollect but, it's happened more often than not and now, it's just not enjoyable anymore. I know that this review is rating this particular location of this franchise and perhaps it's better in other areas. The Rochester Hills location tends to do a decent job. The Southgate location is equal to the Woodhaven one (current location review) but as I stated above, this has become a disappointing franchise chain and overall, you can find better bars to get better wings and and better drinks at other establishments and you'll spend about the same amount of money for them too. What got me most perturbed was their Boneless wings. I don't know what they do but is it too much to ask for chicken chunks to actually be... I don't know... CHICKEN?! And not the conglomeration of over-fried breading? The ratio of crust to meat is horrendously one-sided towards the breading. You're not eating a chicken chunk, you're eating a overtly salty fried breading dough with a small ball of meat that sometimes disappears due to the amount of time these things sat in the fryer. There's nothing juicy or flavorful about the meat either!!! When you bit into a wing, there's supposed to be this flavorful, savory, meat juice that coats the palette and suspends your mind for just one moment before you commence consumption and that process is supposed to repeat with every bite as properly fried chicken breast meat is supposed to do. BWW chicken does not! The meat tears off in a dry fibrous fashion as it the meat has been frozen first and then flash fried with no time to defrost and such. It's really just gross to look at when you feel you got a good piece, bite down, and feel the texture of the chicken and even see the meat fibers stay in place with almost no give. It's never a clean bit where the meat has been cooked properly. It's flash frozen then flash fried and no defrosting done. I get that the place has to serve in great amounts of volume as any restaurant but would it hurt to spend a little more time on ensuring some sense of quality to your food??? Then the sauce. I want to know who makes the rules for spinning the wings in the sauce. I want to know their name, their address, what their favorite past-time is, and buy then a beer then fire them because they haven't the foggiest clue on properly spinning wings in sauce. I tend to go with my favorites. Spicy Garlic for the savory garlic undertones topped with a vinegary spiced top-end bit to the mouth upon consumption. The smell hits you right off the bat and it enters you olfactory senses causing a slight discomfort because you know this will cause some pain in your mouth and that's what's good about it, it's both flavorful and packs a bit of a kick. And the Parmesan Garlic sauce. It's heavily laden in garlic and there's an herby parmesan flavor profile that sits nicely with the garlic. Very savory, a slight hint of spice, but also very thick and rich. The sauces should evenly coat the wings. A nice glaze that keeps the wings wet and envelopes each with with the flavor of the sauce, coupled with the breading, and finally, the texture of the chicken meat's juice all meshes together to create a symphony of flavor. BWW can't even spin the sauces right. One wing is drenched in Spicy Garlic while you can barely find any sauce in the Parm. Garlic sauce. So there's not balance of flavors. There's no symphony. No blending. No enjoyment. Just pure unadulterated disappointment. This that point, it's just filling you with bad carbs and poor quality protein. And that's the disappointment. You don't enjoy the food. You horde it down as it's just some kind of cruel filler, not a lunch/dinner to enjoy. Food is meant to be enjoyed, not rushed, not horded and stuffed into the gullet. BWW... you've disappointment for the last time. I'm sorry, but never again... I've been disappointed by you thoroughly. And it's not your waitstaff, it's not your people, it's your lack of quality control on a minor side dish you created to be a meal and charge an exorbitant amount of money to cause people not to relax but stuff and horde. read more

I like this bdubs but I don't eat there big muscular, egg tasting wings anymore. I like everything else on menu. The major problem I have with this place is the unkempt restrooms. Men's room smell like guys missed the urinals and hit the walls instead. Restrooms should be cleaned every hour especially on a busy night. Hire someone just for that special thing. I have to put my shirt over my nose and hold my breath just to urinate. Not trying to gross anyone out. Just speaking my truth. It's an eating establishment. Who wants to eat after seeing and smelling gross stuff in restrooms. oh yeah. They don't practice social distancing, the patio is filled with people without a mask, not eating just socializing. I ordered 30 wings in 3 different sauces. They gave me a box of plain warm wings with tiny containers of sauce. The sauce was enough for a few wings and didn't accommodate my guests or needs at all. I do not recommend at all.
