You could easily order one sandwich for two people. Generously over stuffed. TV screens surrounding the dining area. Clean bathrooms. Efficient and friendly help.

Fries and half of the prime rib dip visible.

The nice part about this Wheat and Rye compared to the airport Wheat and Rye is they serve water! The place looks pretty modern by comparison. I didn't get a chance to check drink prices or specials. The food was good. The portions were comperable for the standard menu sandwhiches but the newer sandwhiches were a bit smaller then typical Wheat and Rye size. If you haven't been to either Wheat and Rye, come hungry. The portions are massive. One sandwhich should last on average, 2 meals.

Always good food here. It's such a nice, chill bar to go to any day of the week. The bartenders are always so nice and attentive. The mac & cheese bites are the best appetizer.

Lots of good food and good service. Wife and I had the Rubin and took half home. Place was a little noisy for us old people.

Friendly staff and great selection of beer. Good music and reasonable prices. A little too bright in here though, seems kinda clinical.

We were seated almost immediately, greeted by a pleasant young woman who took us to a comfy booth. Service quickly arrived as we ordered the usual- a water and a piping hot cup of joe. Classic. The menu was full of tantalizing options, each calling our name - "order me...." - and we struggled to decide on the Heavenly Hash, over easy, seasoned fries. Classic. A shared glance at the 'Mexican Omelette' and we knew that I had to order it once again. Served with a crispy spread of home fries and a soft side of toast? Classic. My partner nursed her coffee, a contemplative look on her face, an itch in her fingers for a cigarette. Menthol. Classic. We poured over the local paper looking for clues on our next case.. This is a German restaurant in name only. Service was sub-par. My party sat for 10-15 minutes before water was offered. Ordered appetizers and our dinners. Dinners came first followed five minutes later by appetizers. My order of Chicken paprikash was lukewarm and I could find very little chicken in it. I was so hungry I regrettably ate it that way. Waitress never checked back if everything was ok or if we wanted another round of drinks. I generously give two stars because the Weihenstephaner Dunkel on draft is a rare find and the German egg rolls are outstanding. Other than that, our visit was sehr enttäuschend (disappointing)

There are so few German restaurants (although they have other options). It's a cute place with long tables that can be for bigger groups or communal dining. The servers were great and checked in on us regularly, and helped us figure out the different options and specials. The spaetzle bowls are pretty big and you can either share or bring some home. The schnitzel was good, but not big enough to share. The paprikash bowl was also tasty. The German potato salad was a real standout, give it a try. Prices were reasonable.
