This place is a buffet but with a variety of found that's not chinese. My family and I arrived at 8:45 pm. The food selections were some hot and fresh but others not so good. My boys wanted fried dumplings but the buffet was out. We waited until 9:00pm and I asked the staff about the dumplings. They replied no more all out. I also noticed the snow crabs were out the entire time and replenished when I went to the manager ad asked about the buffet cost since there was no snow crabs and dumplings. The manager went to the kitchen and shouted in another language then 10 minutes later snow crabs dumplings and more came from the kitchen. The parking lot was over half full, and it was only 12:25pm on a Sunday. We ate here on 8/15/2014 The Sushi was good +. Not great, but very good. We tried a variety and liked. I tried the spring rolls - no peanut sauce - and they were too rubbery to bite. On Friday and Sat night they serve copious amounts of shrimp and crab legs. Very tasty. The Chinese food, for the most part, was run of the mill. It was however, very hot. The service was attentive, more so than many similar places. I did not try the Mongolian grill. I would say its worth a try and we will go back one of these days. read more

It is spacious, there is a variety of different foods, and there are chefs on the ready to make your choice of dish if you don't feel like eating at the buffet. The staff is friendly and are always there to fill up your drinks. What I noticed was that the staff makes sure that the food is always filled in their trays. Food was good. When I say good I mean there was nothing I grabbed that was awful enough for me not to eat. Nothing was over the top amazing but nothing was disgusting either. So me and my friends went there on a week day and the attitude I got from the cashier came out of nowhere I noticed that once I entered the dinning area I noticed that we were the only people that paid previously because we were black. We were seated in a whole other section one section had a waitress with the bills ready i felt sick to my stomach because we are young black adults we could not be trusted to pay like everyone else. And when I asked for a plastic spoon (because silverware looked dirty) she told me it's "over there" so I had to walk back to the entrance and get it. On top of that we were rushed out. I've been here twice. I enjoyed my experience both times. I like filling up on the sushi for my first round. The second round is always a mixture of this-and-that's. They have chicken, seafood, red meats. This selection includes imitation crab meat and a variety of American choices. I usually stay away from the made to order grill as I've had bad luck, but I don't really know how to ask for what I want in that department. The one thing I always get at Chinese buffets are the egg drop soup. But the one here isn't good at all! How do you go wrong with egg drop soup at a Chinese buffet?! I don't even know. Believe me. Very few hot meat/veggie dishes, the rest is fluff like old fried things, salad type of things, 4 colors of jello to fill space, dessert processed yucky cakes seen at all the Chinese buffets. First impression: beautiful building, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. The food, however, is on the bland side. I went on a Friday, so the buffet is 11.99, because they have snow crab on the weekends. I guess it depends on what you go to eat. If you go for the crabs then yes, its worth it. If you go to eat anything else than it's mediocre, not bad, but not good either. The key foods that I like to eat at buffets are the salt and pepper shrimp (which were soggy and bland), lo mien (soggy and bland), crab ragoons (which had a wierd tasting cream cheese inside), hot and sour soup (which was more hot than sour, it was spicy with no flavor), fried shrimp (crispy on the outside, yet bland), the green beans and chicked and brocoli were good. So for me, no it was not worth $12, but if you went and filled up on crab, then maybe yes. There is also sushi (ok), a mangolian grill (which depends on the combination you come up with), a salad bar (the only leaf is iceberg lettuce) , all so so. I have been going to chinese buffets almost every Friday for last 13 years. I lived in many cities in those 13 years. I wet to King's buffet 4 days after it opened. It is definitely one of the worst taste buffets in USA and they don't even have more than a few meat dishes :-( read more

My brother, sister and I were racially profiled. They made us pay in advance then eat. We asked them why, and if was a new policy, no explanation was given. We paid, and were seated to come to find out the we were the only ones who paid in advance, cuz the table next to us was full of Asians, they paid after eating. The reviews were mixed so I decided to try for myself. I came in on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too full before 2pm, but very busy after. I didn't know what "Mongolian" cuisine was, but found out pretty quick: made to order flat top grilled items of your choice. Loved the fresh cooked mixes I got to put together! The service from waiters and cooks alike was great and always on top of everything, despite the busy atmosphere. The less popular items were obviously not as fresh, but replaced with the other items beside them that were empty. I love egg drop soup!! While this was not the best in my opinion, it was good. The place overall was clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms really need work, though; not a good experience. The sushi was freshly prepared, and the man at the counter was helpful. The sizzling chicken was delicious; tender white meat with a savory yet delicately sweet sauce. The spicy dishes had a wonderful kick without overwhelming the dishes. The kids' staples were available (chicken nuggets, pizza, chicken wings) and were decent. Everything I tried was good! However, the "beef spring roll" threw me off. Definitely more egg roll than spring roll. Fresh vegetables, salads, and fruit were great. If you're not a fan of heavy vinegar, stay away from the coleslaw! It was a little slimy to boot. Dessert options were amazing! So many little cakes and mousse/puddings. The light, almond flavored heart shaped pastry we're a perfect paring with the frozen yogurt! Overall, it was a good experience. I think I would have enjoyed it more with more experience at the flat-top grill. Lots of options including sauces. So this is what happened, so me and 3 of my friends are dining at this place. After an hour we left the place we start throwing up and feel sick, so we went back to complain. When we got there we tell the front desk lady that the food is not clean and she start saying that we are the only group that has complaint and the food, and giving us attitude telling me to shut up and I'm stupid. Greater Houston area has tons of Chinese buffet restaurants. This place really is below standard when compared to others. I paid $11.25 for a lunch buffet with iced tea today. There were too many fried Chinese selections and not enough wok cooked selections. Everything were bland. Even the fried rice and lo mein were under seasoned, unacceptable from a Chinese restaurant. The best thing I ate were the fresh fruits. The excellent service saved this place from getting 1 star from me. read more
