Jalapeño popper slider (photo is from the owners page, I always eat mine before I think to take a pic)

10/10 recommend! There's not a set schedule, sometimes she's not out due to weather or other events, but she will post on the FB page in the afternoon if she'll be out that day and it's usually 5-8ish, sometimes earlier. Some days they have tacos which I also, sadly, havent had yet... and it's not easy to find a menu if you're planning ahead but I just message and ask what the menu for the day is, they'repretty quick to respond. I've included a photo of the slider menu they usually serve. The fries are crazy good. They're not average French fries... they're like twisty, but not curly fry twisty and everyone knows fries in a carry out box aren't top notch, but these stay crispy and fresh on the drive home somehow. The OG slider is GREAT. Like, a basic slider (but better). Ketchup, mustard, cheese, grilled onion, pickle. You can't go wrong. My husband gets his pLaIn but I get the grilled onion and pickles and it's perfect. The ketchup & mustard is like White Castle, mixed together, and the pickles are extra tart, but they're perfect for these sliders. They're hand pattied, fresh, sometimes messy in the best way, and I can't say enough good things. We're addicted to this spot! My favorite is the jalapeño popper slider. I almost skipped ordering it our first time, but it is the best slider I've ever had. The Facebook page doesn't show all their different varieties, so it was hard to picture. Patty, cheddar cheese, BACON JAM, which is amazing, fried jalapeños and jalapeño cream cheese. The spice level is PERFECT, I promise that even though there's 2 different jalapeno items, it's not too hot! Also recommend getting a side of the jalapeño cream cheese to dip your fries. It's not like Philadelphia cream cheese... Trust me. My kids love the OG sliders and the Lil Mac (yes, like a Big Mac but a slider). I love the OG and popper so much that I haven't brought myself to try any of the other sliders yet, but I know they've all got to be top-notch! I'll definitely update when I get around to trying them.

    Carne asada fries, $10.

I visited the food trucks in Cadillac Square in Downtown Detroit on a Monday afternoon. I try carne asada fries wherever I go, these were less than average. The fries looked like they were fresh cut and they were the best part (they would have been better just plain, honestly). I found the steak gray in color, dry and lacking flavor. The queso was too thin, which made the fries soggy. They cost $10.

Burnt fries and runny left over from quesadilla

I've ate from this food truck 3 times and I was hoping the third time would be a charm with the quesadilla...cause you can't mess up a quesadilla, right? Wrong. It was so runny that the tortilla was soggy and there was gristle in the chicken. Fries were so overcooked, someone thought I was eating sweet potato fries. I couldn't finish them. The tacos are equally bad. Stick with the chimichanga but you may go hungry after.

Had the Chicken Grande Burrito. Very good, but a little on the mild side. I need to remember the hot sauce next time.

Had the Chicken Quesadillas and the Loaded Nacho Fries! Both were so amazing! Can't wait for this food truck to visit our work site again!

The gratis Chips and Salsa were quite tasty in their own right and what can I say about my Lime Margarita. It was quite large, well made, quite tasty and went down so well with my Taco's and Chips. This drink has a nice amount of Blanco Tequila in it (1.5 oz's) and has an overweight amount of orange liquor and Lime juice that is quite flavorful but overpowers the agave notes of the tequila which was different than what I am used too but I still enjoyed it and was a nice change up to what I normally drink. Staff was super friendly with prompt service and great follow up throughout. I literally got my chips and salsa within a minute of sitting down which is quite impressive. The restaurant itself is visually very appealing where it has nice Mexican decor throughout, adding a lot to the overall dining experience and a great view of the bar which also is visually quite nice. Overall I was quite pleased with my initial dining experience here where the taco's in particular were some off the best I have had in the Metro Detroit area. Even if you dont live in the area, which I don't, you should consider this restaurant the next time you are in the area or headed to Metro Airport which is 5 minutes away. You will not be disappointed.

The staff was very helpful with taking our order. We ordered drinks and they brought out the Chips & Salsa, the chips were nice & crispy and the salsa was pretty good. I ordered a Malibu Bay Breeze cocktail which was very delicious and it definitely tasted tropical. My wife had the Agave Margarita which was huge in size and it was very good as well, the tequila wasn't over bearing. We then ordered guacamole as an appetizer and then ordered our main course, I had the Enchilada Dinner and the wife had the Wet Burrito Dinner, when the food came out the presentation alone was very impressive, now the food itself, My enchiladas Beans and rice were all AMAZING. It had tons of flavor and many options for hot sauces, the meat was tender and the sauces on everything were very good, it was a very fulfilling dinner, it was so much I had to bring some home cause I couldn't eat it all. I would definitely come here again.

Taco's were well made, with double corn tortillas, packed full of meat , no skimping here, and just cilantro and onions. Definately very authentic Mexican style taco's and not the Americanized versions you find throughout the area. My only qualm, which was minor, was that the meat was lacking the seasoning I like when in Mexico which gives the flavor pop that I personally like. I took care of this with some salt and pepper along with salsa to tune the taco to my personal taste. Relative to the Salsa, there was a walk up Salsa bar with multiple Salsa's to select from which I truly liked and reminded me of one of my favorite Taco Joints in Puerto Vallarta, Taco's Revolution. These salsa bars, are quite convenient and act as a "Fixing bar" that allows you to tailor the taco to your personal taste. I have not seen this before in this area and wished more businesses did it. They also need to add the cucumbers (dont knock it till you try it) and some onions as well to complete the fixing bar. (: Food comes with gratis nicely mildly seasoned chips which I really liked. The seasoning is more than just salt, quite tasty and unique to this business, Very nice! Relative to the facility and staff, the restaurant is a no frills operation and has a relatively small footprint with a limited number of tables which is probably something to keep in mind during peak dining hours. Clearly they let the food do the talking here. Staff is very friendly with prompt service and good follow up throughout. Overall a very good Mexican restaurant as reflected in the good Yelp reviews. The quality of the food and at the price point it is being sold at make this a must try if you are a fan of good Mexican food, in particular Street Taco's.
