This night was amazing from the champagne to start to the wine options and ultimately the off menu aperitif that combined lemon sorbet and lemon vodka Why not!!! This was not an inexpensive evening as with tip was over $200 each but was fantastic and worthy of a special e ent Our waiter was so good we added an additional tip over and above the 20% that was addesn

Tried this for the first time and as someone who dines out frequently and works for a luxury dining platform.. Portosole definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The restaurant was upscale but cozy. I highly recommend trying this out if you haven't already. It will definitely be your new favorite

Cute bar. I like the ambiance, and the decadent castelvetrano olives. I didn't have an entree but I'm assuming it's like all the Italian restaurants in the area, over priced and mid. Not really Italian, go to Italy for that.

Portosole is outstanding upscale Italian restaurant in Coral Gables, with a large dining room and excellent service, and a nice varied menu. Four of us shared the crispy light calamari and the superb eggplant parmigiana - it may be one of the best eggplant dishes I have had in a long time. I asked our server what cheeses were in it because it had such a unique and wonderful taste, but he said only mozzarella and Parmesan. We all had pasta - all homemade and delicious - pasta with pesto, paste with clams, pasta with zucchini and meat-filled raviolis. And for dessert we split a creamy lemon tart and a sinfully good pistachio cake served with pistachio ice cream. If you like Italian food, Portosole should be on your list. A wonderful dinner.

Simply one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. The absolute best service, truly unmatched. Here they have a keen attention to detail and make sure you are taken care of throughout the entirety of your visit. Aside from the incredible service the food is just amazing, so fresh and delicious. i would give 6 stars if i could

This was one of the best dinning experiences I have had in Miami in terms of service. The staff from the moment you walked in were so welcoming and attentive. The owner came by at the beginning of the meal to say hello so I was already excited to try the food. I was so happy they had a vegan appetizers which was fried artichoke hearts with lemon and a dipping sauce. It was delicious and for my main I was eating light so I had a the salad with beets. They also could have made another pasta dish for me as well. My friends ordered Ravioli Di Ossobuco allo Zafferano and the short rib ravioli all which were fantastic! The best part of the table-side lemon gelato dessert drink with Prosecco, vodka and topped off with coffee beans. They also made me a virgin drink. The only thing which would have made it better would be to have had another vegan main on the menu. But they said they would make whatever I wanted! Amazing restaurant

I came here for the Ravioli di ossobuco allo zafferano. I highly recommend @PortosoleMiami the staff is superb #NowYouKnow

The amazing end to a great meal.

I really enjoyed my dinner experience at Portosole. I opted for a simple spaghetti with red sauce and was pleasantly delighted with the flavors. Service was great and all of the starters ordered were great to share. It's a great date night restaurant or to meet up with your out of town friends.

I'm so excited to find this lovely Italian restaurant & add it to my favorites list! From the minute I walked in the door , I was greeted with friendly smiles all around! The restaurant is light open, and airy. A perfect ambiance for wine tasting & lunch with friends! The food is so delicious here! There were a group of us dining , so we had many appetizers, including burrata with heirloom tomatoes, crispy artichokes, prosciutto and paired these with La Scolca gavi dei gavi wine. Delicious It was really fun when they approached our table with a giant Parmesan wheel and prepared the linguine tableside! It was so good , I cannot wait to go back for this ASAP! I also saw that they had linguine alka vongole, which I'm excited to bring my husband back to try, because that's his favorite Italian dish. We all shared the branzino Fish, which may have been the best tasting branzino I've ever had and I have it quite often, here in Miami! The veal Milanese was also delicious. I truly can't say enough about my experience at this restaurant. I can't believe I've lived here for eight years and have never dined here before.?! It is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Coral Gables and I will be back often! I highly recommend this restaurant all around for food, ambience and great service and wine selection!

The setting was actually really nice--quiet, cozy, with a good mix of families and friends. We sat outside and the overall vibe felt promising. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill pretty quickly. As soon as we sat, the waitress greeted us by saying the kitchen was closing at 10 and asked if we already knew what we wanted. It immediately felt rushed and not very welcoming. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, which was good--slightly citrusy for my taste, but enjoyable. For food, I had the chicken Caesar salad and my husband ordered the seafood gluten-free pasta. My salad was disappointing--it had more croutons than chicken, which made it feel unbalanced and not worth the price. His pasta was even more underwhelming, with only three shrimp and a few clams. When we brought it up, the manager came over and explained that portions are measured by the restaurant, but offered to add more chicken and shrimp if we wanted. While I appreciate the offer, it felt like something that should have been corrected automatically, not something we had to ask for--especially considering these are full-priced entrées, not side dishes. Overall, the ambiance was nice, but the food and service didn't meet expectations. For the price point, I expected better portions and a more thoughtful response to feedback. Maybe pizza is a safer option here, but based on this experience, I wouldn't return.

Everyone from the bartenders to the server, to the hostesses were all extremely lovely and accommodating. They were very hospitable and made sure that any request that we had would be attempted. We ordered the Swordfish special and Cacio E Pepe pasta. The pasta was good but the swordfish was really what was cooked to perfection! It was not too soft but not rubbery at all. I liked the lemon caper butter sauce as well. We also grabbed a burrata because...why not? It was also decadent and scrumptious despite it being a slightly small portion size but still adequate for two to share. We were also asked if we wanted any extra cheese on top of the pasta which we definitely obliged! The lighting was gorgeous on the patio and very romantic. It was a nice spot right in the heart of Coral Gables and the nice experience has me wanting to return so soon.

He was joking around with us while recommending some great options too. I ordered the Piccola Selezione as an appetizer and for my main I ordered the Cacio e Pepe. Both were made to perfection as well as the way it was served was really nice. My plus one ordered Tagliatelle Bolognese which was also scrumptious! The asthetics inside were really nice and was well air conditioned. For drinks we ordered Molecola and Limonata. 10/10 experience and will be coming back!

We weren't greeted by a server for at least 15 minutes. Eventually our waiter came over with water, but he seemed rushed and uninterested from the start. Another 15 minutes passed before he took our drink order, and we ended up ordering everything at once because he was so quick to leave the table. No recommendations, no check-ins, and anytime we needed something we had to flag him down ourselves. As for the food, the Fiori Di Zucca Ripieni Di Caprino E Miele Al Tartufo were absolutely divine, easily one of the highlights of the night. The octopus was disappointing, chewy and lacking flavor. The pumpkin ravioli was just okay and I wish the sauce had been creamier. The Linguine Alle Vongole was very good, probably our favorite pasta besides the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe with truffles, which was hands down the best dish we ordered. The mushroom tagliatelle wasn't what we expected at all, the sauce was much thinner and waterier than anticipated. We ended up skipping dessert solely because the service left such a bad impression. Overall, while a few dishes stood out, the experience as a whole didn't feel worth returning for.

The service was exceptional, the Resturant is quiet and the owner Sebsatio. Gave use great service. My wife started with the beat salad which was remarkable. The beats were soft and tasty. I started with an arugula with shave fennel salad very good but not as tasty as my wife's salad. Shen then had the filet which was perfectly cooked and had an incredible mushroom sauce. I had the linguine with clam sausage. Best I have ever had including numerous restaurants in Italy. For desert we split the tiramisu whose was tremendous although I think the lady fingers could have used a little more rum or liquor. Only minor issue was no vegetable with the filet but not a big issue. Overall I highly recommend this Resturant and will be back. Do not wait to go here since it is so so good.
