A Simply Termite inspector put graffiti on my white stucco house! I saw termite droppings, called this recommended company, showed the inspector the droppings who said yes, those are termites, but I have to do a full inspection. After the inspection I was subtly encouraged to tent the house and when I declined he quickly dropped the cost of a spot treatment by 1/3. Alarm bells rang in my head then. During the inspection he wrote on the outside house wall which I didn't catch immediately, and I can't clean it all off. OMG, beware!!! read more

While the quote we received for fumigation was very competitive from Simply Termite we decided to go with them based on the many positive reviews. We are glad we did because the whole process from start to finish was smooth and easy. When Alan came out to inspect our home it felt like he gave us an honest assessment and was right to the point on what needed to be done. When we finally made the decision to go with them, the office staff was able to schedule us in for fumigation with only a few days lead time. The guys who came out to do the work were on time during their arrival window and got to work right away. We had some plants along the exterior of our home that we mentioned would be okay if they were damaged by the tent (we are removing them anyway). Somehow they were able to squeeze the tent behind without harming the plants which impressed me. We were told since we had work done over the weekend it would be an extra day of fumigation since the guys don't work on Sunday. It was a bonus when we found out the tent had come off a day early and we could go back home a day sooner. During the entire process the office staff was very responsive by phone and email. I hope we don't need to treat for termites anytime soon but I would definitely use Simply Termite again if needed. read more

This company misled me and I cannot recommend them. They chemically treated two spots for termites on my house. They spent 10 minutes doing so. I had been told by their inspector that treating and patching 2 termite holes was included in the $350 price. However on day of treatment I was told that patching holes would cost an additional $450 more. read more

We worked with Araceli in the office who scheduled the termite inspection, both the inspection and the quote were done quickly. We had a few different inspections done & felt Simply Termites were the most knowledgeable and had the best recommendations for our situation. James went the extra step and worked hard to find a specific type of wood siding that we requested to replace existing siding that was rotted. Once I gave the go ahead for the tenting, it was up within a few days and they were able to take it down on a Sunday which we appreciated. I was ready to give this company 5 stars. The initial process started out great. Allen came out and did the inspection and gave us a quote on the spot. Initial scheduling for fumigation was easy as well. We were able to get on their schedule the same week. At this point things started to decline. I was supposed to get a call to confirm the time for fumigation. No one called. I emailed in to inform that I had not been called with a confirmed time and I was able to get an email back (at almost 9p) to confirm the fumigation time for the next day. Moving on to tent removal, we were provided a time range and date to have the tent removed. They were almost 2hrs late from that set appointment. Though the communication in the beginning started out okay it was lacking during the process. However, other than the lack of communication at times their entire staff was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I would refer and use them again. read more

These guys don't mess around or telling you all kind of BS. Straight to the point what you need and what they offer. I asked a few others company quoted to tent my home saying they can do orange oil without moving. Sound too good and a lot less $$ but just to be safe I don't want to do this tenting process again. So I went with this company and it's a smooth process. Someone will come look your home, will explain what you need to do and the tent ppl will show up when you are ready. On the day of the tenting, we try to take out every thing value to us but at the last min I forgot something left it on the kitchen table, 2 days later I came back and they already removed the then and when I went back in the house that item was still there. We had a bee's nest forming inside a wall. John came out and for $125 dollars, the bees were gone within 24 hours. He emphasized ethical removal was considered. He informed us that the bees we had were not an endangered species. They were the more aggressive type who produce very little honey, and if we do not address them, they would become aggressive soon. I contacted 3 companies in the Orange County area to figure out how to treat the home for termites and decided on Simply Termite for their competitive pricing and quick service. I never had difficulty reaching them to schedule for the free inspection and subsequent home treatment. Alan Dennis inspected the home inside and out and found a lot of spots that I was unaware of. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Omar Mateo came to treat the home several days later and did a fine job. He was thorough and honest with the options we had to fix the damages. I greatly appreciated the input. He took almost 4 hours to treat the house all on his own. I was told the treatment would take about one and a half hours so I was relieved when I wasn't charged more for his time. The only downside I can find from the experience was from using 2 different people for the initial inspection and treatment. I would have preferred Alan treating the home because he was able to take the time to walk around the property and know what spots he needed to treat. Although Omar did a great job overall, he didn't seem to understand the notes written by Alan in full. Overall, I would choose Simply Termites again if I needed another inspection in 2 years and recommend the company to anyone who was having trouble with termites. Just had our home tented. We had special needs so they worked with us and got it done over the weekend. Everyone from Alan to the entire office staff are really super nice and easy to work with. They handle any questions you have with ease. The gentlemen that put up the tent were fantastic also. They made no mess or damage to any of our plants around the house. We have solar panels and they took extra care with them too. I would highly recommend Simply Termites.
