I don't get burgers often being a gluten free pescatarian, however, while I was walking by the men in the food truck told me how good their burgers were. After they mentioned the seasoning, the aioli and they had gluten free buns plus a portobello mushroom burger, I was in! The burger was very juicy and the aioli with the grilled onions and bell peppers were delicious! I was surprised that they made it so well because portobello's and be tricky to cook whole. Personally I would have liked it a little more seared but that is my preference. All in all I would order it again. Great place, first time and the workers should be proud of their service they provide. Had the cowboy burger which surprised me. 1. I'm usually the traditional type person so I stay away from BBQ sauce and stuff like it. Usually BBQ sauce in general are over powered and is all you taste. Their sauce is great, a light sweet gaze type of BBQ that complements the burger. Meat quality is above average for sure, clean taste and won't make you feel guilty eating a burger. Not thinking about price or anything, I did wish the patty was a little bit bigger. The best part of the meal was actually the fries and fry sauce. We had a quick bite here after the falls and it was delicious. It's a huge venue with food truck style vendors throughout the outdoor corridor. I had a mushroom burger and it was tasty, although I can say that for the prices that are listed on the menu the mushroom could have been a little heftier. We all know how good truck prices have gone through the roof and this place is no exception. Tho, they do offer a food truck for everyone, we had a party of 8 and I believe everyone ate something different from all the options in trucks that they offer. Their setting is an outdoor venue type situation with plenty of table sitting. Bottom line is it was tasty and efficient and did its job! Expect hefty prices for the food. read more

The hubby noticed a food truck court on the map today we weren't aware of. And since we'd be passing through the area we decided to stop by and check it out. Great location, right off the 84 just past the outlet mall on the right. My first choice is generally to try a new burger, so we opted for The Good Burger Shack. The owner of the truck told us that they'd just found out in the middle of the night last night that they were approved to open today, so although they've got a decent menu, they didn't have everything ready today. We were going to try the chicken sandwich and a burger...but no chicken, so 2 burgers and a fry it was. With the short-notice opening approval a lot of the trucks there today weren't up and running when we arrived...only a handful out of the 11 we saw parked. As a result and due to the opening crowd there was a little wait, but not bad all things considered. The burgers were great... as my husband put it, "a good old-fashioned homemade burger". Nice soft buns, with loads of grilled onions and a tasty burger/fry sauce. Messy goodness... The fries could've been hotter, but they were the nice hand-cut homemade kind...not the out of the frozen aisle variety. Much appreciated. Overall a fine lunch from this food truck, ESPECIALLY considering it is day one of business! I'll look forward to returning to try that chicken sandwich too sometime. Once the kinks are worked out they've definitely got 5 star potential. *The whole food truck venue is great, with a huge indoor dining area and a bar. Although the parking lot seems to be a decent size it is tight for bigger vehicles, and if opening day is any indication it'll be tough to find yourself a spot during busy times. Maybe carpool, but we definitely recommend stopping by to try a good burger! read more
