There were multiple families in there and Andrew was the only one working and not only did he multi task but he also was calm and patient and made such a difference in the experience! 11/30/25-Even though this was one of the biggest holiday shopping weekends of the year they didn't have their holiday items in stock. Specifically the gingerbread axolotl. They tried to sell my mom the larger one which is made with a lower quality fur (not as soft as the mini) but costs more just because it's bigger. They really need to keep holiday products in stock throughout the holiday and not try to convince people that lower quality products are a better option just because they cost more. read more

Can you believe that I still have my stuffed cat-bear plush from Build-A-Bear-Workshop 14 years ago? Unfortunately, I lost the wig and some of the cool outfit accessories she came with, but she's still in one piece. Her name is Alison. I remember the workers were super patient with me, as I was super shy and did the cheesy dance. I was never fond of the "magical" dance and route (even though it was supposed to cater to my age group). I just wanted to name my cat-plush bear and go! Adventure awaits! This Build-A-Bear-Workshop location has proved me wrong that I'm too old for stuffing bears and playing dress up. I actually enjoyed stepping in and seeing the new modern costumes and teddy bear collections. I was always a fan of the brown Hello Kitty series back in 2008! Omg it was perfect! Seeing Build-a-Bear Workshop continue to deliver fun, original, unique experiences to fans (LIKE ME!) makes me thrilled with this new offering of cool new designs. I love this store. Being able to pick out the exact stuffed animal you want and then dress it is amazing. The selection is vast - from teddy bears to unicorns to The Child. I'm an adult and my eyes still widen at the selection. I suppress a giggle as I see the choices I have. It's even fun to shop for a gift here. And the clothing and accessories are even more interesting. From wizard robes with Harry Potter movie themes to sports apparel and skateboards. Child's dream come true. After picking out the stuffed animal you want, you take it to be filled with stuffing. Don't forget to record a message on the recorder you can place inside your friend. And a heart. You can create a birth certificate for your stuffed animal so make sure to think of a name before you go shopping. And then bathe your pal and fluff out their fur. I recommend it as a must do at least once. And they have sales which lower the costs so it's a better value. read more

Terrible customer service, long wait times. Do not bring a toddler here - it's a nightmare with no direction on what to do. Lines every step of the way with no communication. Wanted the birthday bear, which no one makes clear that only entails one specific bear, and FINALLY got to the register after 45 minutes to get rung up for $40. Never coming back. read more

Im giving tis place 5 stars based on the smiles our grandkids had on there faces when they were done. The concept is pretty much as the name states although you can choose several different things to build. You start with the base material of th figure youd like to have stuffed and you can also insert sounds, sayings etc. , they do have characters displayed so you may see an example of what the "stuffed " product looks like. You thn move to the attendees that actually stuff your character and speak with you during the process and stuff the character to your "huggable " preference. After that is complete you than move to the accessories. Word of advice move thru as quickly as you can!!!! Lol. After that comes the birth certificate and the worst part, PAYING. 4 Children, 4 stuffed and accessorized characters, $240 4 smiles , PRICELESS I guess its up to you what you want to spend but who really wants to go there and than tell your child "no" .? Poor Management scheduling! It's Valentine's Day and you schedule 1 poor girl to run the entire store for several hours. My Husband came home feeling so awful for the poor young lady. She tried so hard to be apologetic and do the best job she possibly could. He insisted I write this review immediately. He was disgusted with the situation and felt so much for the young woman trying to handle everything. Shame on management for overwhelming your poor employees! read more

Me and my boyfriend came in here to get our daughter a fun bear just because. We were never greeted by the 3 ladies that were up front talking amongst themselves at the register. We were the only people in there at the time. I proceeded to grab a bear and that's when one of the ladies came over and began to greet us. They weren't any help at all after I told them it had been a while since we came in here so we weren't sure of the process. They really looked at us like they didn't have time for it and stayed behind the counter I still decided to go through with getting the bear anyways the entire experience was terrible and honestly left a terrible taste in my mouth after about the whole establishment. Would never recommend coming here. Once we went up to the register and paid, the lady tried to force us into a "$10 gift card" after I asked what it was for she said "it's free money why wouldn't you want it." Overall the employees you have working there have no customer service skills whatsoever do better build a bear. read more

We were the only ones in there and I felt rushed like we weren't wanted. The girl helping my 4 year old seemed to get impatient with my daughter being a little shy. If there was a line of people at Christmas time I'd understand, but it was 10:30 on a Tuesday... I've never been to build a bear before, and I won't be going back. read more

This was our first time ever. Staff was super friendly, positive attitudes and helpful. My 2.5 daughter had so much fun building her puppy, and participated it the stuffing and giving it its heart... Best part was watching her. My only complaint is that it costs too much for a "stuffed animal," especially after dressing it. Too easy to get carried away. Shouldn't cost more to dress a bear than a kid But I do recommend for kids who love stuffed animals. Unfortunately mine lost interest before paying. read more
