Pretty good! We came here a couple of years ago and had a later dinner. Stopped by earlier today for a burger and appetizers after enjoying a few bars. We ate on the patio last time. It was so hot today we went inside and it was almost just as hot. This is a very cool, very small building. We shared the Bull burger and fries along with the salmon bruscetta. The food was very good. The service was very good. Not crowded at all today.

Good wings, cozy atmosphere and great pours of Guinness. Nice location, just off the Main tourist walking street. Prices, food and service are all good. Recommended for a quick bite and beer.

This place should have had a great ambience, but instead I felt it lacked it overall. We sat in a cozy corner which was great until the staff kept coming out of the back of the restaurant through one door which repeatedly banged very loudly every single time! The staff also gathered around near our table to get instructions for their day. We had a nice view out our window onto George Street til the bartender walked outside and shut the windows! The order of chicken wings lacked anything special. They were dry and lukewarm warm at best. The only reason we would go back is for a Guinness because you can't go wrong with that.

My friend and I spent the day in Saint Augustine and we stopped here for lunch. The hamburger I have to say was actually very good and cooked to perfection. Though a little small on the size compared to the price overall it was very good. Our waitress was great, though I wished I had her name. She was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and very patient. We sat outside and I have to say despite the heat, but under the shade made it actually very nice. This is somewhere I would definitely return.

Worst food I have ever eaten. My aunt pulled a piece of plastic out of the burger she was eating. The chef should have never served the food. The chicken wings were extremely dry . The chicken sandwich looked like it had dried blood still on the chicken breast. The food was digusting and over priced. Don't not eat at this place you will regret it . I would give this place zero stars

Super cute location. Love the outdoor seating area and inside love all the bits of history. Of course the food is on the pricier side but it is expected in the area. Service was phenomenal. They were super busy but very attentive. Everyone enjoyed what they ate. The only big negative was the price of a glass of orange crush. The kids all ordered it and it was $10 a glass. A beer was only $8 and a cocktail was $12. Just don't seem right. But didn't know the price until the check came.

Stopped by for lunch today with my wife and we totally enjoyed our food today. We both ordered Cobb salads and she also had a drink called the creamsicle and I got the whiskey flight and we enjoyed both. Bailey our server was pleasant and friendly and made us feel comfortable while we were there. I like the fact that this restaurant is let friendly and will be brining our pup out the next time we head out there!

Another lucky find - this time in the histroic district of St Augustine. We were looking for lunch and looking for something different. We've been eating well on this vacation and were looking for something "not too heavy", "no chain food", etc. Stumbled on the Bull and Crown Publick House and got a table on the patio. I opted for Shepherd's Pie while the wife had the "short ribs stack on Cibatta bread". Her sandwich came with a generous portion of fries. Both of our meals were excellent; the service was excellent and it was pretty reasonably priced. I probably won't be back in St Augustine anytime soon, BUT, when I do get back here - I'll be going to the Bull and Crown again.

We had a delightful experience. Stopped for lunch on our way to Fort Lauderdale. Drinks were amazing and the Salmon Bruschetta was delicious. It paired so well with my dry martini! The music was great and our host was very friendly!

I sort of wish we had sat outside but it was slightly too chilly. We sat at the bar inside and the bartender was lovely. However, the ambiance was nearly non-existent. At least outside people watching would have been available. The drinks were good. I just had a Modelo, so super simple. My friend had a Rosemary and Juliet. It had a fresh sprig of Rosemary and pink peppercorns floating around. Tasty! I did like seeing the fresh herbs at the bar. They looked like they were just picked. We both had a salmon BLT. It came with cold salmon which was... an interesting choice. It tasted fine tho. The sauce - I think some kind of aioli - was amazing and the absolute best part of the sandwich. Fries were good but nothing to write home about. The worst thing about it - there is no bathroom here. You have to go a few doors down to their sister restaurant? Wild to me they can operate without one there. All in all it's just an ok place. One thing I will say is that it is not overpriced like so many of the places in this very touristy part of town. So, if you're just hungry and need to eat something and not spend an arm and a leg - and likely get in and out quick - it's a fine spot for that.

Came here on our stop to St. Augustine, starving for some lunch. Food was okay nothing spectacular. Wings were tasty, came with 8 pieces. Burger was big. They have an outside and inside but the inside doesn't have any AC, so definitely hot regardless where you sit. Service was fast and attentive. The bathrooms are not on site but a little further away

During a weekend golf trip at World Golf Village we decided to visit the historical sites, shops, pubs, and restaurants of St Augustine. While looking for an interesting place to have a meal, we noticed Bull & Crown had a nice outdoor seating area with a table available as we walked by. A quick check of their menu was enough to get our appetites going. Service was quick and efficient. Our food came out without any issues and was well prepared. We ordered Shepherd's Pie and a Short Rib Stack sandwich. Both were very good and I highly recommend the Short Rib Stack sandwich. Plenty large enough to fill you! A very pleasant place to sit and talk while watching the world walk by.

This is an authentic feeling British Pub right on St George Street. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of drinks to choose from. Wine, Beer, Cocktails. We had the Tropical Punch. The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. It's easy to find stop by for a refreshing beverage in a cool pub.

The drink menu is extensive too, with a strong cocktail selection that fits the whole Prohibition theme. Service was friendly and generally on point, even though it was busy. We got a table for a party of 5, and thankfully did not have to wait a long time. The service was fine and we did not have to wait for our server to come check on us between other tables. She was nice and on top of what we were ordering. My main issues: two of the drinks we ordered had flies/bugs in them. I'm talking 3-4 bugs in each drink. I'm not sure if they landed on the orange garnish that got put in our drinks or what, but it was not ideal. We swapped for another beverage and didn't have an issue. The other issue was the food itself. Thankfully everything came out really hot and pretty fast, but it was just super mediocre. The shepherd's pie was a bit lackluster and my husband said it was not seasoned/kind of tasteless. I'm sure it's just because of the busyness, but still disappointing. The party outside seemed super fun and everyone who was just drinking and standing for the music were happy. I would give it another chance, but absolutely not on a holiday adventure.

Let me first start with the customer service! They don't have a voicemail and I had called whether to confirm they were open the day we were going. The phone number advises texting. So I did. And they texted back so fast and were so helpful in making sure we would have plenty of time etc. And the service there in person was even better. We did come in on the later side but didn't feel rushed or like a bother at all! Grateful for that! Most of our party ordered the fish &chips... because what the heck else do you order at a pub?! lol. I was pretty impressed! The fish was crispy on the outside and good and flaky on the inside. Everyone was a fan! One person did have the bratwurst and had good things to say. I had a bite too and thought it was pretty good (brats aren't really my thing - but for someone who likes them, I can bet that you'd like this one!). As for drinks... The pour on my Guinness was perfection! Other people had ordered Smithwicks and I thought that was delicious as well! One other person had a glass of wine and was complimentary. I didn't try it myself. I'm not sure what this place looked like prior to the Wobbly Whale moved in but it seems like they upgraded and made it all new again. It does seem very classic British pub as far as the ambiance. It's a cozy gathering spot. I did see they have a trivia night and I intend to be back for that. Maybe for some more fish and chips too!
