I ordered and found them from Uber Eats. I ordered a gyro and a chopped steak. I received the food in a timely matter. My food was also hot upon delivery. The fresh cut fries were delicious. The gyro meat was fresh and tasty. Their gyro sauce is not good! Loss of a star for that. The chopped steak came on a french roll, vs Texas toast and it looked weird. It was about a 2. The gyro was like 17 pounds and crispy. Loved every bite. Will be back. There's really not much else to say cute place and great service.

This place is beyond delicious. The Chicago dogs were some of the best my husband has had. And the meal came with a huge basket of fries too!! Like table sharing size of fresh cut fries. I had a gyro that was in no way greasy (like they can be) with super thin onion slices and super fresh and plentiful tomato slices. And the tzatziki sauce ? Fabulous and plentiful !!! Son got a cheeseburger that had the logo stamped onto the bun. How cool is that ? Charming place, clean restrooms and delicious food. We ordered our food and paid for the combo upgrade. We were told help yourself to a soda can from fridge. Only problem was that it was practically empty , less than 20 cans. And my wife drinks diet ! Not one single diet can of soda ! So we get our food and I noticed no napkins on tray. Not a big deal , so I went to container and it was empty ! 2nd container empty ! Finally a 3rd had some. My hamburger had absolutely no flavor ! NOTHING , my fries were fricken burnt ! Needless to say I did not finish burger nor fries. If any positive my wife liked the burger. Finally found a good Gyro place in town and fresh cut fries are the only way to go. Looking forward to trying more on the menu.

Sorry I don't get the 5 star reviews. A) the aubience is a 3 star I like all the Chicago iconic ddecoreations at Portillo's a lot more. B) The hot dog had a different flavor that was just weird for lack of a different word to discribe it. Like it wasn't cooled long enough or something was left of of the dog. And the last third of the bun was soggy - yuck. 2.5 stars c) The hand cut fries were good and plentiful but I have had better. 4 stars. Really wanted to love this place and take some of my friends and family for a Chicago Dog but don't think I will be back. read more

Have to say, has to be one of the best gyros I've ever had. Amazingly large portion, fresh, tasty and pita bread was perfect. A massive amount of fresh cut fries are done just right. So why not 5 stars? Three of us went...1 gyro meal, 2 Italian sub sandwich's, 2 drinks and an extra order of fries. $60 out the door, a little pricey but hey, they make great food, will go back! read more

Bulldogs Red Hots is phenomenal. The fries a fresh cut (yes the amazing type with the skins on them) and seasoned to perfection. The polish sausage and hotdog I ordered was 1000 times better than portillo's not to mention they were priced better too. Both the polish and the hotdog had the perfect snap when you bit into them. Service was fast and staff was amazing. You could just tell that the staff treated each other and their customers like family. Everybody was happy to be there including the staff. The classic Chicago atmosphere of the restaurant was awesome too. I ordered the same order at portillo's later in the week and here is my review. 1.) Bulldogs Red Hots had better tasting food hands down! From the fries to the hotdog and polish sausage. 2.) Bulldogs Red Hots had faster service! I waited 15 minutes in the drive through at portillo's at 8:00 PM which isn't even a super busy time. Bull dogs red hots had my food ready in under 5 minutes. I could have driven to Bulldogs Red Hots from portillo's, walked in and ordered, and received my food before portillo's drive thru got me my food. 3.) LOW PRICES!!! Bulldogs Red Hots had way better pricing than portillo's! Portillo's is priced like a sit down restaurant whereas Bulldogs is priced appropriately. 4.) Bulldogs Red Hots had kinder staff. You could tell your order genuinely mattered to them and they were proud to have you as a customer. Go support your local small business like bulldogs. The girl at the counter who takes orders has such a bad attitude and showed disrespect to my mother and myself. She was rude to my Mom when she asked the girl a question, and the girl gave a nasty attitude back. Then my turn to order, and I asked if they had red hotdogs or opaque. She had an attitude saying that they looked like other hotdogs. I said there was a difference in the two. Then she spoke Spanish to the workers and one guy did hold up a hotdog. They werent really beef. Then I said softly to myself how ignorant. She said what did you say, I heard you.... I said why do you have to have an attitude just for asking a question. She never had a smile on her face just meanness and an attitude like she hated the world. She should work in a factory where she doesn't deal with the public Or see people.
