Wanted to support a new-ish local spot and glad I went here. Staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick. They told us 15 minutes for everything and it was ready on time. Ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, and wings to try a few different things. My top recommendation is the chicken sandwich! It was big, juicy, and flavorful! Kinda felt like their take on the popular Popeyes chicken sandwich, but better cuz it's local, haha. Mon-Thurs they have a 2 for $7 special on the chicken sandwich. My mom had the burger and she liked it though, she requested mustard only and they added mayo to the sandwich. Still said it tasted great. I like catfish, and I like it a particular way. Because of that, I usually only like my husband's catfish. I gave them a try; I wasn't disappointed, and I wasn't floored either. I got the 6 PC catfish nuggets. It came with fries, toast, pickles and 2 hushpuppies. Everything was decent. I do think their custom tarter sauce has too much thyme in it. I'm not rushing back, but if I want fish and they are the only ones open, I'll go to them. I do think it would be better fresh. I was a little late picking it up. read more

She was nice, patient, and even made known of their specials for the day.. We ordered a 6 Jumbo Wing Combo and 6 Tender Combo.. Our second visit to the Desoto, Tx location on Hampton Road. We called in our order, for pickup. The staff was courteous and professional. We had about a 10 minute wait in addition to the 20 minute that we were told the order would be ready. We went for the chicken and waffles and they were delicious!!! The waffles are a generous size and they are fluffy and have a great flavor. The chicken wings, are large and seasoned to perfection!!! The standard order comes with two golden and crispy wings. I've been looking at this place for months with the intention of purchasing the fish filet meal. Fish is my favorite food and sometimes it can be really hard to find a place that REALLY knows how to fry a good piece of fish. I finally decided to patronize this establishment and to my disappointment my 1st experience resulted in me receiving the WRONG food order. I ordered a 3 piece filet meal and received a 3 piece chicken meal. I paid 14.75 for the fish but received their 6.99 meal. This is what happens when you use DoorDash I guess. You don't have the opportunity to look through your food and return to sender. I am utterly disappointed. First time at this was a few years ago. The food was really good so when my sons AAU Team had a tournament in Desoto I knew I wanted to come back and support this small black business. So after the tournament my family and I went and placed at $73 order. No other customers were in the restaurant when I ordered. The young lady advised it would be 20-25 mins but no longer than 30 mins. My receipt showed I placed my order at 1:54 pm. After hanging in the car, going to Boston market so my daughter could pee (restaurant doesn't have public restrooms) and Walgreens across the street I went back into the restaurant at 1:30 ish. It was 4 ppl waiting all on separate orders. After a few minutes the same young lady who took my order can and ask ppl for their names on the order. I told her my name and she said 10 more mins they are waiting on the chicken wings to be done. So I continue to wait. One lady got her order, then she started to hand out a very large order to a gentleman waiting. It's 1:50 ish and I still don't have my order. I ask to speak to a manager and she said the manager was cooking so he couldn't come talk but they offered to give me a 20% refund. I said ok. My son and his friend came into he restaurant because I been inside for 20-30 after the initial 20-30 mins and stated they had to pee. I went next door to the barbershop and they declined a 11 yr old from using their restroom. So I went into the restaurant and ask due to the inconvenience can my son please use the restroom. Both Boston market and Walgreens restrooms were nasty so going back their wasn't an option for me. The manager declined my 11 yr old from using the restroom. So I had to ask for a refund of all my money because this is no longer an salvageable experience and I have wasted more than an hour of my time after a long tournament. read more

Go to pick up the order and was told that they have different specials each day (not listed that way on the website), no biggie, total was $8 and the "basket" was sad. Not at all worth eight bucks. I just left from there on a Sunday and omg the food is absolutely horrible. My boyfriend and I are big foodies when we travel. The food had a bad smell like the oil needs to be changed, the sauce and the food is salty. The wait was long we literally waited a hour and half for fish and tenders. This was my first time eating here after hearing so many great things only to be let down. I ordered for a family of four and we all ended up unable to eat for the night. The chicken tenders for my daughter were cold and too greasy to eat. The wings for my husband and I were cold but somehow still not cooked completely. And the burger for my son was soggy which meant it had been there for awhile. We only live 2 minutes away and could have been there if they had provided a more accurate time for pickup. read more

For the most part I absolutely love Bulleez Fish. My husband and I go hear regularly. The food is consistently good. Staff is cool. They have real catfish not white fish. They now serve okra and onion rings. The quantity could be more on the okra, but outside of that fish and the Philly cheese steak is my favorite. Oh, the whole wings are wonderful as well.
