Visited the Cedar Hill store yesterday. I ordered the #1 combo which is 2 pcs dark, 2 sides, a roll, pepper and a drink for $7.29! I got green beans and coleslaw slaw for my sides. I also upsized my drink for an extra thirty cents. The chicken was hot and fresh Everything was so delicious and customer service was amazing. Definitely will be returning soon read more

Not sure why the bad reviews. We have this chicken at least once a month and the flavor is way better than any box chain store. They double batter and use a different oil, they mentioned what it was. A few years back but I can't recall. Granted, the service could be better inside, we always hit the drive through. I'll say that after 7 years of coming to this particular one, they've only messed up once. I used it to make a pork chop sandwich because my spirit needed that. I would get it again. I like really thin pork chops and this was thin and the breading is similar if not the same as the chicken. I Had to pull over to the side to wait an additional 15mins for my order but when I got home and seen and tasted how nice and fresh my fish was I understood and respected why. The fish fillets here are a little on the thin side compared to the hole In the wall spots that I'm use to but nevertheless these were still enjoyable. Didn't have too much seasoning which to me isn't a problem , because for the most part with particular places and food types I actually prefer to season it to my liking. I'm a huge fan of this place. I went inside to order a to go order on December 10 around 7:30 PM. The young girl at counter was very courteous and prompt. I placed an order for the fish dinner. While waiting I notice how they prepare all the fish and chicken.They cook it in advanced and it gets the " heat lamp" treatment. I was under the impression that at least the fish was fried to order.Who wants heat lamp fish? I was already disappointed before I even got my food. I usually love this place because the catfish is very good but when it comes to helping there customers, they absolutely suck!!! It was my son's special fishing day and usually I cook what I catch but this day I decided to go out of my way to get their catfish after a whole day of fishing. When I got home from there, which was completely out of my way, they forgot my side and the food was overcooked. When I called and explained my situation feom the fishing trip to the food being not what it usually is they said all they can do is replace my soda next time I come...wtf kind of stuff is that??? I even said, why would I want an extra side, to give it to my dog or what? So I asked to speak to the gm....Then this rude ass mf comes on saying in the one who took your order and I'm the gm.
