Well, there claim is pretty legit. Very legit. It's an unassuming place with unassuming prices that buy you great food and friendly service. Seriously, like way back when friendly service and prices. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

That's exactly what happened here when my partner and I walked in to get lunch. I chuckled a little and remembered what it used to be like when I lived in a small town. The two young ladies that were running the place were friendly; especially with the regulars-one was standing next to a table chatting for several minutes while we were waiting for our ticket. There was a large group on the outside patio and we noticed that they were getting their order two plates at a time-every five or so minutes. I assume the restaurant doesn't have a large enough grill for more than a couple burgers at once? Unfortunately, our order was placed after theirs so we had to wait even longer. The food was really good once we received it. We both devoured our burgers and fries. Knowing that the wait time might be a bit, I'll keep that in mind if I'm driving through town in the future.
