Where in Utah is Lee today?!…read more You voted for Mexican food, so I'm spending some time visiting a few of my favorite spots in Central Utah. Today's stop was right here in Richfield at Playa Azul TacoShop, where I grabbed lunch before heading out for my ride. And just like every other time I've been here... This place was BUSY! The parking lot was packed with cars and motorcycles. Local businesses were holding lunch meetings, and families were enjoying great Mexican food together. Today's pick: Crispy Chicken Taco with chips and salsa First bite? Hot, fresh, juicy chicken wrapped in a perfectly crispy tortilla. Simple, delicious, and exactly what you want before a long ride. Lee's Local Verdict: Worth stopping in Richfield for? Absolutely! Fast, friendly service, great food, and a full parking lot that tells you everything you need to know. Now I'm curious... What's your favorite Mexican restaurant in Central Utah? And if you stop by, tell them the "Where in Utah is Lee?" guy sent you! #WhereInUtahIsLee #PlayaAzul #RichfieldUtah #MexicanFood #TacoRun #UtahEats #WorthTheRide #LiveToRide #RideToLive #WhereToNext

I wasn't super impressed w the carne asada - a little dry and not a lot of flavor. But the carnitas were excellent! My son had a carne asada burrito and had the same feedback. We all felt like they were missing something like some melted cheese or something. I loved the salsa bar and when they say super hot, go ahead and take their word for it. The green super hot was hot but flavorful and the red was too much for me to handle. Last, my tacos came w lemons to squeeze on them which is uncommon - usually I get limes at other places so that was unique. I'd say it's pretty legit authentic but not quite a 5-star experience.

Primarily looking…read morefor a place to eat we stopped by on our trip from the Red Rock country of Southern I Utah to Salt Lake City. The bar is a bit off the I-70 freeway, but not too far. It is spacious inside with large tables and a friendly, welcoming staff. I had a margarita with my lunch; only one though because I was driving. It wasn't strong but was tasty enough. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

The cheesesteak was alright. It was nothing to complain about or write home about. The jojo fries were kinda undercooked but good and seemed homemade almost. Attentive service, not overbearing. A lot of locals since Richfield isn't exactly a destination but you'll get the same treatment and be just as welcome.

DO NOT eat here. A friend and I were in Richfield and we decided to stop somewhere for lunch. We…read moredecided to stop at the Days Inn and try the restaurant that was inside the hotel. My friend and I both walk in and find our seats. After we had set down I looked and counted no more than five other people in the dining hall. Our waitress was promptly at our table. Both my friend and I looked at the menus and placed our order. The waitress took our order and left. The promptness of the waitress was the only good thing that happened during hour lunch break. While waiting for our meal, my friend and I visited to pass the time away. Soon 10 minutes had went by then 15 and then 20. We are still waiting for our meal and have not seen a waitress come by to let us know when our meal will be there or what is going on. Finally after waiting 30 minutes for our meal, a waitress did stop by our table but only to sit down a bottle of ketchup and mustard and to refill our water glasses. A second waitress comes with a tray with our food on it which she put on our table and left. Finally a waitress comes with a tray which contains our meal which she promptly sets on the table and then leaves. I took a glance at my watch, 40 minutes had passed from the time we placed our order to the time that it was brought to us. I had ordered a club sandwich and my friend ordered a burger. The club was not anything big. However, the burger that my friend had ordered, was not even cooked. You could cut open the burger and see that it was still raw inside. A great host for food position and who knows what else. We got the attention of a waitress that came over and saw the condition of the burger. To be totally honest, the waitress really did not seem to be that worried that a raw hamburger was served. The waitress informed us that we did not have to pay for the meal due to the condition of our meal. My friend and I got up and left the restaurant and the Days Inn hotel. If looking for a place to eat, do not stop at the coffee shop inside the Days Inn hotel. If I could, I would give this place a negative 3 stars. Eat in Richfield yes, but DO NOT eat at the coffee shop inside Days inn. Maximus
