Randall also had a trainee with him and took lots opportunities to educate this newer employee on the right way to do things. The actual work is fine/good and he technician was friendly and competent. But the communication is awful. I have had about 4-5 miscommunications by the company to schedule appointments and it's been a frustrating experience to make arrangements that they do not stick to or seem to mark in their schedules to begin with. read more

Just had our home serviced for ants. Lots of ants. I was worried it would be a painful process with a baby crawling around, a 4 year old and two cats. I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and calm our tech was. Ryan Tozzi explained everything in detail and then got right to it. He was professional and calm (which was helpful--I've been freaking out about these ants for weeks!) and was in and out. I feel confident he treated the problem we had because they have a 60 day warranty on their service. This gave me peace of mind that these ants will soon be a thing of the past. Having recently moved into a new property, we have received an initial service with a number of follow ups over the last month. I have mixed feedback. Pros: technicians who have visited are very professional, very courteous and seem to be doing a good job. We have had to do a number of follow ups as we continue to see more bugs 3-4 weeks later but they were clear at the start that it would take a number of treatments to fully eradicate the problem Cons: we get a different technician every time who has a different diagnosis of the problem. Not a major issue but frustrating as we have to re-explain everything and we get conflicting suggestions for remedying the solution. My major frustration however is with customer service. We had an appointment booked for Saturday within a 3 hour window, no one showed. When I called to find out why and reschedule, the customer service agent was extremely unhelpful. She told us that the planned remedy that had been scheduled for last Saturday was not even an option in our area despite 2 people having told us that it was. I asked her why no-one showed, she simply said it wasn't scheduled. No apology and a complete lack of care as to the inconvenience this caused us. I tried to speak to her manager but she was very resistant in giving out a name of someone I could speak to or a time they would be available. Hence the reason for me leaving this review online as I had no further recourse within the company. As for the pest problem, another appointment is now scheduled for this evening, I hope this will fix the problem in order for us to continue to work with them. read more

I've been with Bulwark for over a year and has been satisfied with their work. Chris Brown has been our assigned exterminator for almost a year now and he's been great! They come whenever I ask and in speedy time. Chris is very friendly and trustworthy. He's been inside my home many times unattended and i have no worries. After ants over ran our house, we called in Bulwark. Our tech, Orlando Council, came in, blasted them inside and out...no more ants! (We've never really had any other bugs!). The second month, the ants sent out a few scouting parties...and were clearly trying to infiltrate again. When Bulwark came, no one was home, but they took care of the outdoors anyway AND Orlando came right back out the next week and went the extra mile by spraying behind walls and around registers. This Location is EXTREMELY disorganized. I phoned them in October to cancel after my last treatment because I was selling the unit. They continued to go out and treat the outside of the unit and continued billing me. The manager was rude. I have had to call them several time to get them to stop treating my property and to please stop sending me a bill!!! Save yourself the headache and go with someone else. read more

We found ourselves battling a massive ant problem last summer and decided to give Bulwark a try. We were quite pleased with the immediate improvement as well as our follow-ups whenever there has been a recurrence. We especially love the quick response time to follow-up calls. Have never had to wait days for them to come out if there's a concern. They're always out by the next day to take care of any needed spot treatments. When you think of someone loving their job, one of the first jobs to come to mind wouldn't necessarily be an exterminator. But, that's exactly what happened as Daryle Gee was spraying today. As he was spraying. he was explaining how some bugs get in through crevices. Mid spray, I looked up and there was this immense sense of pride that I could see even as he worked with his back to me. I asked him mostly to confirm that I was seeing correctly "You love your job, don't you?" I asked. Without skipping a beat, he turned around, flashed the biggest smile, and replied, "You can tell!" And, I definitely could. I was having an issue with seeing a few siders, and he joyfully set out to ensure that they wouldn't be a problem. He informed me of a couple of webs, but smiled the biggest smile knowing that he got them. I'm glad that Daryle loves a job that he's good at. My spiders have been handled! read more

I was very hopeful when I contacted Bulwark through yelp after a friend recommended them. It was late at night and I they responded within 20 minutes. The following day I had an appointment set up very quickly for 9-11am today. I arranged my schedule around this time frame and then no one ever showed up. I kept waiting for a call and nothing. At 10:50am I called to check in someone looked into it. They could not get in touch with the technician and asked if I wanted to reschedule. As a first time customer I was hesitant and inquired if there was any incentive to reschedule with them. I was offered a discount on the service and have a new appointment up for Friday, 3 days from now- fingers crossed someone shows or I at least receive a phone call in advance if they can't so I don't end up rearranging my schedule and wasting a few hours of my day waiting around. Will update review after. Side note- phone call was 19 minutes long to inquire about where a technician was and reschedule a new appointment. Seems a bit long on the customer end of customer. Update 8/6- Bulwark arrived within the rescheduled window. The technician had no knowledge of the discount that was offered previously but called and got it worked out. He was very friendly and informative. I was disappointed after he left to find wasps nests hanging on the garage and a lot of cobwebs left behind as both we items listed in the treatment but I did not walk around and check this while he was there. read more

They spray all over the yard to prevent pests and if you need come and spray inside too but if you don't want anything sprayed in your house, they just spray outside only, so they are pretty good and flexible with any requirements we have. read more

Super annoying pests and insects needed to be dealt with in and outside our town home . So I called Bulwark. The guy I spoke to on the phone was informative and very friendly. Their prices were right AND did not have to commit to a 3-5 month contract (as most exterminators require) so I made a single visit appointment. And, they treat inside the home (windows, electrical sockets, even house plants!) and all outside. I was told someone would show up between 8-10 a.m. Matt Welsh showed up first thing in the morning (exactly what I was hoping for). He was kind, personable and provided me with tips and tricks for dealing with pests should I encounter them. He also gave me recommendations based on things he saw in the house. He was very helpful. I live in a townhouse community, and started seeing some big black roaches around my apartment. I inquired online with Bulwark--they were prompt and professional! I think I called on Tuesday, and by Saturday the problem had been taken care of! The technician was very knowledgable, friendly, and thorough. He was quick also. They gave me a discount just for having the tech come on a Saturday too! Pleasant surprise. I was worried that it would be a one year contract, since my lease ends in June, but you can cancel at any time with no charge. Furthermore, if you see a pest between treatments, they will come out and take care of it for you! I also think this is the most affordable exterminating company of all the places I looked into. read more
