Routine maintenance does not magically cause accident-related engine damage, and anyone with basic automotive knowledge knows that. Let's be very clear: * The engine issue started immediately after the accident * I reported it from day one * Caliber Collision ignored it * When they could no longer avoid it, they tried to shift blame onto me This wasn't a mistake -- it was negligence and gaslighting. Frustrated with the lack of response, I went in a week later to cash out, no one asked questions or attempted to assist, they just punched a few buttons on their keyboard and said insurance would follow up. This confirmed my decision to take my business elsewhere. I shared the experience with my insurance company, who at least apologized for what happened. None of it the end of the world, but when there's a multitude of other choices, I'd prefer to go with one who seems interested in my business.
